...♥♥ American Pie ~♥~ The Wedding ♥♥
American Pie The Wedding is a Comedy/Romance film which was released in the UK in August 2003. The film was directed by Jesse Dylan who also directed the film How High (2001). American pie The Wedding has a BBFC Rating of 15 due to some mild sex scenes and some swearing, the film has an estimated run time of approximately 98 minutes.
American Pie The Wedding is the third instalment in the series of films which is brought to us by Universal Studios following the huge success of American Pie One and Two. As the name of the film suggests this third instalment of American Pie is about the wedding of Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan). We also get to see all of the other familiar characters who appeared in the first two films such as Finch, Kevin...
Advantages: Good cast, script and very funny Disadvantages: If you don't like High School comedies maybe give it a miss
...There are certain pressures every High School student seems to endure and one of the most common is the urge to lose their virginity. So for Jim and his 3 friends, Oz, Kevin and Finch it is imperative that all 4 of them manage to do it before they leave High School. So they make a pact to help each other along the way and ensure they all succeed. What then ensues is 95 minutes of comedy that keeps you laughing from start to finish, including some rather funny moments featuring an Apple Pie and another with some Beer.
It has now become one of the classic comedies of recent time and American Pie is probably a film that the majority of people have now seen. It is one of those films that regardless of how many times you have seen it, it still has the ability to keep you laughing. In that respect it is a very good all round comedy...

Review of American Pie (DVD)
Advantages: Quick and easy. Disadvantages: Tastes horrible, unless you're from Yorkshire in which case it's a fine gastronomic experience.
...First of all, a disclaimer. This isn?t about steak and kidney pie. It?s about chicken and mushroom pie. There wasn?t a category for that and when you suggest a product to Ciao it generally takes ages for them to be arsed to add it. I haven?t got that kind of patience, frankly. Anyway, you?ll probably like the chicken and mushroom one more. After all, kidney tastes just offal (apologies).
Believe it or not, I have never in my life had a Fray Bentos pie. That?s unusual, given that my diet consists mainly of peanuts, toast and the occasional banana. You?d think Fray Bentos pies would have slotted quite nicely into that list of nutritionally deficient foods. It might be because I?m Irish. We are not quite as beloved of tinned pies as the English are. There are other contrasts between the English and the Irish, mind. We...
...American Pie is my favourite film, and I have watched it on numerous occasions, I could probably play a part in it because I know most of the lines off by heart. I know it's sad, but what can I say, I'm easily amused. American Pie is a typical High School Teen comedy, which focuses on 4 high school mates, who make a pact to loose their virginity before their prom night. Sounds like a pretty boring film doesn't it? Well it is far from boring; American Pie has so many funny and embarrassing scenes that will make you laugh every time you watch it. Some of the funny scenes in the film are over exaggerated and took to the extremes at times, but I think this is what makes the film so funny and enjoyable to watch. Losing your virginity before your prom sounds easy, but for the four virgin guys in American Pie it is the total opposite. Each...

Review of American Pie (DVD)
...Well my next review is on a comedy film, I figured ive written an action review and a drama review so why not give comedy ago. Im reviewing American Pie (1) directed by Paul and Chris Wietz, and starring Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan and many more teen actors. The film was released in 1999, and grossed well over $225 million. Now as most people no, this film spawned many more sequels, ive seen the other two, but they've made a few more low budget one's too, however the original cast are not in these extra films. For me the first film was by far the best out of the Trilogy, mainly because it was so original and you didn't expect things to happen, after the second one you got use to the characters and style of comedy, so since the first film was my favourite I figured why not reviews it. I remember I was actually not 15...

Review of American Pie (DVD)
Advantages: Humour, Writing, Music, Extras Disadvantages: Not to everyones taste
...BACKGROUND
The American pie trilogy (sorry but I'm unwilling to accept any after the first 3 as serious movies), started with this hidden gem. Written by Adam Hertz and directed by the Weitz brothers, the movie was released in 1999 and lead to two very successful sequels (and 3...less successful ones).
STORYLINE
4 High school friends (Fince, Jim, Oz and Kevin) make a pact to get laid before they graduate, and they agree that the upcoming prom night would be the best idea. The movie's main theme is how the 4 go about it...and even if they do manage to go about it.
Some of the sub stories involve Stilfler trying to make Finche's life a misery, as well as Kevin's relationship with his girlfriend Vicky who's also a virgin, wanting love before sex.
GENRE
The movie is based at the teen audience, with teenage themes covered in...

Review of American Pie (DVD)
Advantages: Tastes delicious and is healthy Disadvantages: falls apart
...Holland and Barrett are a brilliant shop for vegan food. In their fridge they have many vegetarian and vegan versions of meat foods. This includes sausage rolls, ham, sausages, burgers and much more. This review is on their Porkless Pie. The name itself is enough to win me over and always gets a laugh when I tell somebody I?m eating one of these.
The pies are available in two sizes, large and small. The small pies are what I usually get as they are small enough for one person and I am the only vegan in the house. However, at Christmas I usually get a larger pie as it can be cut up and put on the buffet table on Boxing Day.
The ingredients in one of these pies are:
Pastry 50% - Water, Wheat flour, Trans Fat Free Margarine (Vegetable Oil, Water, Salt, Emulsifier E471, E475, Colours E160b, E100), Salt
Filling 50% - Water, Soya...
Advantages: Started off the teen movie era, orignal, funny, great cast Disadvantages: None
...Launched in 1999 American Pie can be credited with starting off the teen movie genre, which to this day is still one of my all time favourites.
The story starts with Jim (played by Jason Biggs) performing an intimate act with very embarrassing consequences. This is the best opening scene of any film, and whilst cringe worthy it is pure genius.
The opening scene sets up the rest of the film perfectly as the audience are introduced to four friends being Jim, Oz (played by Chris Klein), Kevin (played by Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Finch (played by Eddie Kay Thomas) make a pact to become 'men' and lose their virginity by the time they graduate from high school.
There are 2 rules. It must be consensual (alcohol is not allowed) and prostitution is forbidden. Other than that it is each man for himself.
The clever part of this film is...

Review of American Pie (DVD)
Advantages: A really good beginning to the franchise Disadvantages: Not for all
...If I review these films through the order they were released I will begin back in 1999 - 8 years ago now. American Pie kick started my teen years and was almost a label of what I would hoping to be doing come my prom that would arrive 6 years after I saw this film. Getting laid. Can I say that? Well one things for sure the characters in this film don't speak about much other.
For those not familiar with American Pie the gang is lead by Jim (Jason Biggs) although I use the term gang really loosely, as these are not the coolest kids in school and more live in the shadows of their immature, although sexually more mature, friend Stifler (Seann William Scott). Stifler will always be throwing the craziest parties, and he almost is one of the prime examples of what is pushing them into trying to lose their virginity as well as the rest...

Review of American Pie (DVD)
Advantages: Really funny and great acting Disadvantages: None
...I hadn’t seen this movie before and I sometimes say “This one time”. I wondered why people at my work started to laugh when I said it. All they said is watch American pie. Now I know what they meant and apart from that it is a really great movie. The problem is that it is aimed at my age range and some of the older generations may find it infantile humour but it really is brilliant. I apologise in advance for the terms I use with reference to sex, as that is the topic of the movie.
Ok the plot is pretty simple. At a party there are four guys about my age (18) who are virgins. Then when a weedy little guy comes out of a bedroom with a girl boasting he is now a man they decide to take drastic steps to get laid before the end of the Senior year. Basically it follows these guys as they attempt to find the right woman...
