...It's 1942 a young boy is playing peacefully I his bedroom. However, somehow it's a jigsaw of a naked woman he has and his mother is annoyed at discovering this and finding heaps of pornography hidden all over his bedroom. She demands that he goes and gets her the matches so she can burn it all but the weird child being a true blue porn fan instead gets an axe and brutally, albeit very unrealistically, kills his mother. He is then found in the blood covered room after cutting her into several pieces. Many years later and we have a random scene of a woman skating about on some University grounds before she crashes into two men carrying a mirror across a road. That scene seems pointless and is forgotten. But then another young woman is sitting on the lawn reading her book when she is disturbed by a man with a chainsaw cutting...

Pieces of a jigsaw

Advantages: Great entertainment, hilarious!
Disadvantages: Not sure it's supposed to be funny!

...In the early nineteen forties, a young boy resents his mother's intrusion into his bedroom and takes an axe to her, pretending afterwards that he was an innocent bystander. Some forty years later, young girls on a college campus begin to be picked off by an electric saw-wielding madman. It seems that the killer must be someone on the campus, perhaps a teacher, and the police officers in charge of the case, along with a fast-thinking student, do their best to keep on the killer's tail. Yet the murders continue, each one gorier than the last. Will they ever catch the murderer? And what is the link with the young boy? For some strange reason, there is a following for horror films that are so bad that they are good - I, for one, am a fan. Bits and Pieces

Advantages: Some very decent music
Disadvantages: For the fans, the new songs are a bit of a let down

It is this combination that has enabled her to release a greatest hits album "Pieces of a Dream" after only five years as a major label singer, yet still manage to pack it with hits. The album opens with the debut single, "I'm Outta Love", a song which grabbed me from the first and made me an Anastacia fan to start with. In five years, nothing has changed and I still love this song. It's a high tempo pop song, with soul undertones and a beat that has you dancing and unable to help yourself. At the time this was released, there was really no-one who combined soul and heavy pop the way Anastacia did and there are very few singers today who have the strength in their vocal to pull it off even now. The Piece Hall, Halifax

Advantages: Lots of history

...250 years ago the West Yorkshire town of Halifax was at the centre of the textile trade. A few decades later textile mills would spring up all along the valley in which Halifax sits but back in the 1770's most of the cloth was made in the local people's houses on handlooms. The Piece Hall opened in 1779 as a place where these traders could meet and trade their cloth. It was built to replace a smaller building called The Cloth Hall. Today The Piece Hall is a Grade 1 listed building. It stands in the heart of town centre and is now used largely as a shopping complex. 80 pieces for easy construction

...Mobilo children?s construction bricks are really good for small children particularly those with poor dexteritory they are suitable for children aged 3 to 7 years old. Those at key stage 1 and 2. Be wary though with younger children as some of the pieces can be quite small and if children put them in the mouth it is possible they might swallow. This set is a fantastic set with 80 pieces it includes standard 1 and 2 cube brick pieces triangular slope pieces. Flat ladder like pieces of varying lengths a few heads and a few wheels there are connector pieces too. To describe mobilo bricks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are not conjoining bricks like Lego but open cubes that are joined together by flexible connecting disks. These discs fit into a mobile brick easily and another mobilo block is easy to join onto it. The pieces snap...

QUORN PIECES

Advantages: realistic looking,lowcal

...This was the first time that I had seen these and thought I would try them. You get a 300g bag for around £1.92 and for 100g you are looking at around 94 calories, so from a dieters point of view they are excellent, especially being low fat and high protein. The bag is the usual orangey yellow quorn with the item on the front and to be fair, it does resemble what it looks like on the package and you do get a lot of pieces in the bags to make them worthwhile getting, although I wouldnt say they would stretch for more than 2 people per bag. Smellwise, they dont smell of anything until cooked, and then you get a clear chickeny mushroomy sort of smell. You can cook them in a variety of ways, but I boiled them in chopped tomatoes as that seemed to make them the nicest. On cooking, they stay moist, but you have to be very careful...

Piece of My Heart

Advantages: Excellent crime thriller
Disadvantages: New chapter when changing era

...described in enough detail for any new reader to be able to understand and relate to him. What I also liked about the book was it was not simply Bank's investigation. His junior officers and even his commanding officer were given enough character and personality as to be interesting and to see how they felt or reacted to any given situation. I thought this was excellent and very intelligent writing by the author as you got to learn the politics of the Police Station and the case itself. The book was quite a long one (530 pages), but I found I read it in no time at all. This was because it was easy to read, well written and so interesting. At no time was I bored and more importantly for a crime novel, at no time did I have a clue who the murderer was and why they did it. Thanks to this excellent piece of fiction, I understand a little...

54 Pieces of Mobilo to construct your dreams

...During my years working with special needs children I have grown to love Mobilo. Mobilo is a plastic construction system. The set I am reviewing today is a 54 piece set this comes in a square yellow bucket with a lid. The lid has shapes cut out of it so that the mobilo can be posted through them when it is tidied away. The plastic mobilo bricks come in bright red, yellow and blue. These shapes are not solid shapes. But open ones. They clip together with the connectors that are included in the set. There are a range of shapes in this box .The basic cube which measures 3.5cm. There are double cubes and triangular cubes single and double size. There are flat bricks which to me look a bit like a ladder. There are several sets of wheels. The wheels come as two which are attached either side of a fixing this is the width of 1 cube 3...

Review of Mobilo Basic Bucket - 54 Pieces

How many little pieces are actually true?

Advantages: A gripping read
Disadvantages: The writing style can be irritating....and a lot of the 'autobiography' is a lie

...the Alpaca meets an Aardvark" and "Ollie the Ostrich goes to the dentist" was "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. I was drawn to it because it's an autobiographical account of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. I didn't buy the book - instead I mooched it from BookMooch, so only paid for it in posting away to other people books that I no longer want. The controversy surrounding the book Before I started reading the book I was already aware that there was some controversy surrounding it. Basically, since the book was published in 2003, it has come to light that certain aspects of the story are fabricated, and even Frey has admitted that certain parts have been embellished. More about this can be found at the following link and it makes interesting reading - I would recommend that it is read after reading...
