Review of The Lure - Bill Napier

Solid lure rod

Advantages: great for most situations
Disadvantages: Not the best for long range due to length

...This rod has a casting weight of 60-110 grams, and is 7ft in length, it is suited for the largest of lures and medium sized jerk baits. Braid wise you want to be looking at 50-65lb breaking strain. Couple this with a nice heavy trace, personally i use around 80lb for the bigger lures, and you are rocking and rolling. Its a great rod and can handle a wide variety of lures, so with one of these, and a ligher rod, somthing like 10-40 gram casting weight, then you will be covered for nearly all situations you are likely to come across. Its a good length, especially for tight work on both rivers and lakes, and is especially suited for boat work, as its not too cumbersome... Casting lures it is great, some rods are way under rated or over rated, but this seems about right, you could go 10 - 20 grams either side of the casting weight...

The Lure of the 1940's

...Goodnight Sweetheart is one of those programmes that I had heard about quite a bit but had never really managed to catch on the TV. For that reason I decided that I would ask my granddad if he would buy it for me for Christmas. Being lovely he said yes and so here I am reviewing it. Goodnight Sweetheart is a sitcom that ran for six years from 1993 to 1999. Gary Sparrow is a very typical man with an everyday life; that is however until he becomes an accidental time traveller. A small alley called Duckett's Passage looks exactly like an everyday alleyway to you and me but for Gary Sparrow it is a passage to warn torn London. A passage to the Blitz, to rationing and barrage balloons but most importantly a little pub called the Royal Oak and its barmaid?Phoebe. Review of Goodnight Sweetheart - Series 1 (DVD)

Christopher Pike- final friends trilogy

Advantages: long, lasting and thrilling read
Disadvantages: none

...Christopher Pike is an absolutely fantastic writer, i have read many of his books and have been sad to finish them. Final friends takes you through 3 books: Final Friends 1- the party Final Friends 2- the dance Final Friends 3- the graduation In the first book of the trilogy, a young girl called Alice dies from an aparant suicide at her own party but her close friend michel thinks otherwise. He thinks she was murdered. The books then follow the lives of Alice's friends including Michel who has taken the role as a detective to find out the truth about his friends death. More people die, others get hurt but eventually the truth is revealed. I loved all three of these books, they kept me hooked all the way through. These are not just your average mystery thrillers, they are much more. Pike does not just focus on the one issue...

Review of Final Friends 3 The Graduation - Christopher Pike

That pain is old, it has seen a million dawns.

Advantages: Amazing author, great writing style, great charecters

...This is not like my usual reviews recently, I sat down to do a music review tonight and just wasn't able to write one for some reason. Ciao has only just accepted this product proposal, never done a book review with this much information before, tell me what you think. Rating's appreciated as are comments. For those of you wondering about the title, the book starts off with this wonderful quote and I really thought it was quite fitting. Coming up with a decent title was hard, so I chose this. It's by an unknown author. Christopher Pike- Falling I remember the first time I read a Christopher Pike book, I was around 11/12 and it was the first book I've ever read that it didn't have something kiddy or a romance tale to it and I was hooked. Pike is most famous for his teen-thrillers, which is what a lot of my book collection...

"Don't tell him Pike"

Advantages: Timeless comedy Gold
Disadvantages: NOTHING

...ladies man and the unspoken father of ?Pike?. Nothing ever gets Arthur flustered except perhaps bad manners. Clive Dunn as Lance Corporal Jack Jones Jack is the local Butcher who had his own catchphrase of ?They don?t like it up Em? and ?Don?t Panic!?. A stickler for following the chain of command and so, a strong, sycophantic, supporter of Capt Mainwaring. John Laurie as Jock Frazier. The local undertaker and stereotypical dour Scot. Mean with his money and takes every opportunity to put down Capt Mainwarings preening and pompous strutting. Similarly has a catchphrase, ?Where doomed? Ian Lavender as Frank ?Stupid Boy? Pike. Wet as dishwater and molly coddled by his mum, Mrs Pike and suspected son of Arthur. Pike generally breaks things all falls in any available water. James Beck as Joe Walker. Joe is a bit of a Spiv...

Lure of J`Adore.

Review of Christian Dior J'Adore Eau de Parfum Spray

Pike and Zander Fishing

Advantages: Great fishing, not expensive
Disadvantages: cold and bleak

...Here is an excellent venue for the serious angler keen on a bit of sport hunting Pike and Zander. Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire provide some of the best waters for Pike in particular. The drainage system on the Fenns provide excellent waters for the angler. These drainage channels or Drains as they are known run literally for miles. This particular venue is known as the 40 foot Drain and intersects the 18 foot drain. Fishing here is wonderful. Live bait works best although artificial lures, spinners or dead bait also work well. My best haul to date is 10 fish between 6 and 15 pounds in a 6 hour stint during November 1996. No zander though they were all pike. The drains are very open to the elements and it gets very bleak and cold up there so you need to wrap up warm and make sure you take a flask or your tea making things...

Disadvantages: well guarded secret

...lures them in a way that they cannot resist its sophisticated hypnotising qualities that leaves them in a dizzy love sensation. It is not a scent that says this is the embodiment of man; it says this is the essence of man and what he can be. I have to say this is one oriental exotic experience that made the Italian fragrances scent seem dull, old, impassionate, uninspired and just not sexy....
