...I just thought I would bring this device to your attention. RoadPilot comes from the company which pioneered GPS accident blackspot detection. For £399.95 you get a small, descreet device (not much bigger than a box of matches) which you can mount on your dashboard. I understand they also produce a larger touch screen version for £100 more. I have to say having used it now for 6 months I am convinced it has made me a less eratic driver. It makes you very aware of the speed you are doing and once you get into the proximity of a speed camera (the proximity is user defined and adjustable) it warns you of the distance the device is from you together with what speed you are doing and very importantly what the local speed limit is in that area. We all make mistakes! Pilot frixion pen

Advantages: Fully erasable ink, comfortable pen to use
Disadvantages: Takes some getting used to

...My son has recently "gone into pen" at school (very proud mummy!) and he was provided with the classic Berol handwriting pen - the red one with the blue tip (sound familiar?!) but he really couldn't get on with it at all and I can't understand how these have been recommended for a first pen for such a long time; they are quite uncomfortable to hold, the nib is scratchy and the ink does not flow smoothly across the paper - but I'm guessing that they are cheap. The one that's nearest to me is Freeport Outlet in Castleford, this shop is quite small, but not too small. I only started to shop here about 3 years ago, and now i get most of my clothes from here. There are a wide range of clothes from jeans to short skirts, tight tops to jumpers, casual wear to party wear. The size range is very good, ranging from 8-18 (some shops are 6-16). The fashion, i think, can be for all ages, but mainly for people aged between 12-25. For a night out on the town you can buy an outfit (top & trousers or skirt) for about £25 (max). Great confidence inspiring rubber you can trust

Advantages: Look ok, not to expensive, good feel and turning.
Disadvantages: Might not be great for really fast riders.

...First off I know how much stick Michelin have had over their performance the MotoGP! I am glad to report that I have not had such poor results from my Michelin Pilot Road tyres fitted to my trusty Yamaha FZS600 Fazer. I had these rubber boots fitted in replacement for the recommended Bridgestones that the bike was fitted with from new. I didn't really like the feel of the earlier tyres with the turn in quite sharp and at lean I didn't feel quite at ease on them. So I asked around and was told that the Michelin's should suit the way I ride with a nice gently turn into the corners and good even grip across the profile no matter what sort of angle. I have to say I haven't been dissapointed with them so far. So far I have covered about 2,000 miles on a set of these rubbers and they show only the slightest signs of wear on the rear as...

Head in the clouds with Pilot clothes

Advantages: Cheap and good quality. Similar styling to famous brands.
Disadvantages: None I can think of.

...Well I have just bought myself a lovely denim mini from Pilot. It was reduced which is always good. I can't complain with the quality of the skirt and the staff were ever so helpful. The size I wanted was only available on the window display, so got an extra discount! Would recommend every one take a visit. It was a quick visit to the store because the skirt caught my eye in the window display, but once inside I noticed a whole range of items in various sizes and styles. Whilst the staff were looking for my size and apologising all the time for the delay, I had a quick look around and noticed some excellent bargains. I could have spent too much money on all the bargains! The clothing is trendy and well suited for me, but I guess not to everyone's taste. But still worth a look....
