The Pinnacle Stratus 3.0 E is a good value hybrid

Advantages: Internal hub gears, sturdy frame, nice finish, responsive ride, great price

Pinnacle DC10+ Video capture and editing

...The Pinnacle DC10+ is a good few years old now but I thought I'd review it in case anyone was still using analogue video equipment and was looking for something to help them edit their videos. My experience with Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard

Advantages: worth is price, good results to the end movies
Disadvantages: Hard to install and to operarate.

...I bought the Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard, Installed it my computer, had allot of problem with compatibility and had to run forth and backwards to dealer until it was fixed. After that inconvenience and when it worked, it was pretty complicated and not very user friendly, I'm considered a good computer wizard and it took me some time to understand how to operate it. But in the end when I learned, it gave very good results, it more or less worth is price and is recommended, but take your time to learn deeply first the user manual and all other relevant documents. Otherwise you will suffer the same hell I had in my first day's after purchasing the Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard, but as I said it's Satisfactory product and the end Movies are in very high results....

I bought the box set from www.play.com, priced at £32. I am sure that if you want to shop around you could find it cheaper. On checking Pinnacles Web Site I was amazed at the array of cards on offer and the fact that pinnacle were involved with major productions and I have since seen their name in Movie credits. With this in mind I decided to get a Pinnacle card. My only concern was that I needed Analogue as well as digital output as my video recorder did not have a dv input.
