My experience with Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard

Advantages: worth is price, good results to the end movies
Disadvantages: Hard to install and to operarate.

...I bought the Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard, Installed it my computer, had allot of problem with compatibility and had to run forth and backwards to dealer until it was fixed. After that inconvenience and when it worked, it was pretty complicated and not very user friendly, I'm considered a good computer wizard and it took me some time to understand how to operate it. But in the end when I learned, it gave very good results, it more or less worth is price and is recommended, but take your time to learn deeply first the user manual and all other relevant documents. Otherwise you will suffer the same hell I had in my first day's after purchasing the Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard, but as I said it's Satisfactory product and the end Movies are in very high results....

Pinnacle DC10+ Video capture and editing

Advantages: cheap, fair quality images, easy to use
Disadvantages: needs a good sound card, some capture problems

...The Pinnacle DC10+ is a good few years old now but I thought I'd review it in case anyone was still using analogue video equipment and was looking for something to help them edit their videos. Peak performance from Pinnacle

Saxo 1.1 Forte

Advantages: nimble with good performance for its engine size, fun handling
Disadvantages: Steering takes getting used to, basic interior, basic equipment

...of performance, the 1.1 is a little slow. If you know how to get the best out of an engine this isnt a problem and you will soon find yourself moving briskly, keeping things on the boil with a few more frequent gear changes than usual. My advice here, get one with a rev counter or if you are impatent dont be tight and get one with a bigger engine! I would reccommend the 1.4 Furio or 1.6 VTR (8v) if you want anything that has all-round performance. Fuel Even driven hard on motorways or back lanes it will always give around 45mpg. On a long careful drives we achieve 50mpg easilly. handling is its best quality - lots of FUN. Dont forget the VTR/VTS performance models are considered amongst the best handling cars around. It is beautifully balanced. My only critisism of the car here is that the ride can get 'bouncy' at times on rough roads...

The Pinnacle Stratus 3.0 E is a good value hybrid

Advantages: Internal hub gears, sturdy frame, nice finish, responsive ride, great price
Disadvantages: Right brake lever could be longer, high Q factor, poor pedal design

...the years. I?ve tried out other cycles but only for short periods. I purchased the Pinnacle (Evans) Stratus 3.0E bike mainly for the SRAM i-motion 9 gears. Not many readily available bikes at around £500 are fitted with internal hub gears so my choice was severely limited. The Shimano Alfine 8 speed gears appear on a couple of bikes at this price point but they didn?t suit me for other reasons. I wasn?t prepared to take a chance on two other current options (a Sturmey Archer 8 speed and the interesting, continuously variable NuVinchi) because I couldn?t find convincing recommendations from users. The daddy of all internal gear hubs, the14 speed Rohloff, is so out of my price range. Advantages: ease of use, build quality and picture quality

...Studio DV is the third video editing software I have tried and the only one that I have succesfully mastered. It is for this reason that I can recommend it as the best system for the complete novice. Installing a new card, learning about firewire technology and capturing were all daunting tasks for me. The Studio DV package all was easily followed and the installation went without a hitch. This is not true of the other two packages I tried. Studio DV is some neat software that allows you to caapture short pieces of video from your digital video and convert them into an avi file or a mpeg file. This means that you can view your clips using windows media player or you can store the clip as a real file and view it using real player. Why would you want to do that? you may ask.
