The Very Best of the BEST!!
Advantages: Sublime Picture Quality, Split Screen Features and Multimedia Inputs
Disadvantages: Expensive, hard to install.
...Although the 6090 is an expensive option for television viewing, if you have the money and are in the market for a new television, this is where you need to be looking.
I have had the TV since January of this year (2009).
I have never before experienced blacks so deep, colours so rich and sharp or motion so clear as with this tv. Nominally with tv's as we all know the larger the screen size the poorer the picture quality, especially when viewing from strange angles or when sitting close or stading near the televison. However, with the pioneer even at low resoltion levels the tv performs extremely well. Then lets consider what you get if you run blu ray through one of the TV's 4 HDMI sockets. You really can start to feel like you are right there as it happens with life like picture quality. There really is nothing else that comes...

Pioneer PDP-435PE Plasma TV
Advantages: Great HD, built in freeview
Disadvantages: Little bit expensive
...I have had this TV for a few years now and it has served me well despite a few mishaps. The first few things to mention about this product are that is a 43 inch, HD (High Definition), Plasma TV. The screen can be wall mounted and the TV has a separate media box from the screen. The media box in case you are wondering, is where all the receiving of channels and everything else goes on. Like a computer the screen just displays graphics from the media box.
HIGH DEFINITION (HD)
This Pioneer TV can display high definition to the highest standard level- 1080p. In case you don't know, high definition services usually come in 3 resolutions 720p, 1080i, 1080p (in order of worst to best). In conjunction with Sky's HD service the 2 are a good combination.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
The media box includes a digital freeview receiver which is good...

A Pioneering Drive
Advantages: Backs up 4.7GB of your important data
Disadvantages: None as yet
...On a never ending quest to improve my computer set up I decided I needed to purchase a DVD recorder drive of some sort. Backing up my important data using my CD-R drive was a time consuming operation which used four CD-R`s every time. I had been put off by the high price of DVD recorder drives while they remained fairly new but over the past few months prices have dropped to such an extent that a DVD recorder drive can now be bought for under £100. When I saw the Pioneer DVR ? 106 drive available for £88 at Dabs.com I did not hesitate in ordering the drive which duly arrived just two days later.
Now a problem that faces consumers when they decide to buy a DVD recorder drive is that there is more than one type of blank DVD media that can be recorded upon, these are DVD-R and DVD+R. Many people have argued long and hard extolling...

Grundig 42" Plasma TV - WOW !!!!
Advantages: Price - Picture Quality - Functions
Disadvantages: Sound
...Ok Ok...... Being an IT Geek, Im into the lovely modern world of technology..... Only thing is - Technology is also very £££
Keeping up to date, with new technology, and revolutionary accomplishments in technology is not a cheap thing at all.
About 6 months ago - I decided that my current 32" Widescreen TV was dated, small, and near enough stone age.
I reviewed many different Plasma and also Rear Projection TV's along with LCD displays. One thing thats for sure, the dearest option, doesnt necessarily mean the best quality. I had looked at several screens ranging in price from £2,000 to £5,000. Ok the £5k screens were near enough top end, but for my use this would just be extreme. There were various shops - such as Curry's, Dixons, and also some more specialised Video / Audio shops locally to me that I looked around at...

Pioneer Double DIN goodness oozes quality and functionality.
Advantages: Sexy, packed with features, smart design, easy to use
Disadvantages: price?
...A month or so ago I purchased a new car, MK4 VW Golf 1.9 TDI. Not being brand new, I wanted to make some changes to make it feel more like mine. First thing I noticed was the out-dated sound system in the car. Despite being a 51 reg, it came with a tape deck of all things and a 6-disc CD changer. Ugly, boring and outdated. I wanted something a bit snazzier. I had seen other Golfs with single DIN units, meaning there was a horrible gap in the dash board. Opting for double-din was the only logical choice. Most double din units are expensive and incorporate a DVD player or sat nav of some sort. I wasn't after that, just something to play MP3 CD's and the radio. When i saw this one though, i fell in love. The sexy fascia, blue lights and jam packed features made it a must buy.

Pioneering price for an antique DVD
Advantages: Very, very cheap; SATA; Fast; Reads/Writes most DVD formats
Disadvantages: Only comes in beige; No DVD-RAM writing (Read Only)
...Make: PIONEER
Model: DVR-212D
Specification: DVD±RW (±R DL) drive - Internal - Serial ATA - Read speed: 40x (CD) / 16x (DVD)/ 5x (DVD-RAM) - Write speed: 40x (CD) / 18x (DVD±R) / 10x (DVD±R DL) - Rewrite speed: 32x (CD) / 6x (DVD-RW) / 8x (DVD+RW)
REVIEW
I bought my Pioneer DVR-212D, a few days ago for just £11 inc. VAT, BRAND NEW, from eBuyer.com. I hope you agree that's an incredible price for a S-ATA DVD rewriter.
I only really needed the Pioneer drive to aid in testing the functionality of another more current P-ATA DVD-RW drive that was exhibiting some very odd behaviour that I wasn't absolutely certain was the drive's fault, so I wasn't too fussy about it being highly specified. Having said that the pioneer handles all manner of read/write formats with the exception of writing to DVD-RAM and writing Lightscribe data...

Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 Review
Advantages: Greater functionality and ease of use
Disadvantages: Price
...quality and build are second to none - they analyse the sound from a CD with super accuracy, punshyness and detail. Compared to the MK2, its functionality has definately got better with its track search speed being imporved significantly. Once again, the layout of the buttons are easy to use and see even in the dark, and Pioneer have made more effort to better the information display - its brightness and clarity are a major improvement on the MK2.
Cons
All in all, there are no cons in my opinion - this piece of equipment is the very best any dj has at his fingertips. Being critical, I would say that its price (£700) is expensive to beginners and intermediate dj's on a budget, but if you have the money to burn, this is a piece that you MUST have or that you are able to use in this ever changing music industry.
All in all, I love...

Pioneer DEH-30 MP
Advantages: Good sound quality, loads of features
Disadvantages: Chrome effect peels from around volume control
...Pioneer DEH-30 MP
I bought this car stereo around 2 years ago for my car as I wanted something that sounded better than the standard stereo. I bought mine from Motor-mania for around £150.LCD blue screen and reads out what ever it is playing at the time.
I think it has really good quality sound even when the volume is on high.
It plays any CDs including MP3 and even ones that are slightly scratched play just as well on this CD player.
Features
MP3/WMA Playback with ID3 Tag
CD-R/CD-RW Compatible
Aux Input
3 Band parametric equalizer
Selectable loudness feature
Dual Pre-outs
It also has traffic announcement features, preset channel memory and auto/manual frequency search.
It came with a handy remote control so that even passengers in the back can pick what to have on the stereo.

Pioneer DCS 525
Advantages: Rear wireless speaker, Great Sound and Picture
Disadvantages: None
...The Pioneer DCS 525 comprises of a DVD player, subwoofer and 4 speakers packaged together. I bought this system from Internet for the very reasonable price of £350
The heart of the system is a DVD player, tuner, alarm clock and 100 watt subwoofer combined together in a compact and slim design.
To give the home cinema effect, four speakers are provided. These comprise of a sub-woofer and four satellite speakers. These speakers seem pretty robust and have 100 watt output each. You can also tell the system far away you sit from the speakers so it can better your sound.
Features
The DVD player will handle playback of the the following formats: CD, DVD, DVD-R DVD-RW, CD-R, VCD, SVCD, MP3 and JPEG.
You are given a choice of Dolby Pro Logic Surround / Dolby Pro Logic Surround II / Dolby Digital / DTS Digital Surround sound...

Another winner from Pioneer...
Advantages: High playback quality, easy to use and available in black!
Disadvantages: Occasional SCART problems on startup, no "display off" option, sometimes too good!
...Pioneer have supplied the DV464 generously with connectors - in addition to the standard SCART socket (which is RGB capable), you also get composite video and S-Video connectors. In terms of video output, the only thing missing is component output - but, unless you have a plasma screen, that won't be of concern to you. Of course, you're best off using SCART - RGB is by far the highest quality format. It's worth noting, though, that, on most televisions, only the first SCART socket will work with RGB. It's also worth a mention that some video recorders, satellite decoders and Freeview boxes can't pass RGB signals through. You'll need to experiment - most TVs will say "RGB" when they're receiving an RGB signal.
Turn to sound output and you'll find a pair of phono outputs, and both coaxial and optical outputs. This is rather handy when...
