Pioneer PDP-435PE Plasma TV
Advantages: Great HD, built in freeview
Disadvantages: Little bit expensive
...I have had this TV for a few years now and it has served me well despite a few mishaps. The first few things to mention about this product are that is a 43 inch, HD (High Definition), Plasma TV. The screen can be wall mounted and the TV has a separate media box from the screen. The media box in case you are wondering, is where all the receiving of channels and everything else goes on. Like a computer the screen just displays graphics from the media box.
HIGH DEFINITION (HD)
This Pioneer TV can display high definition to the highest standard level- 1080p. In case you don't know, high definition services usually come in 3 resolutions 720p, 1080i, 1080p (in order of worst to best). In conjunction with Sky's HD service the 2 are a good combination.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
The media box includes a digital freeview receiver which is good...

Pioneer PDP-505HD
Advantages: Great
Disadvantages: None
...The design on the TV is great. The side speakers are very well integrated with the TV and don't stand out either (they are removable as well if you plan to use a surround sound speaker system). The picture is outstanding and I felt it really was head-and-shoulders above the other TVs I was considering (Sharp Aquos, Sony Plasmas, Philips, Hitachi and Panasonic).
I went to a several retailers and looked at the large Plasma tvs with the same High Definition signal and the Poineer was the best there. As i said before the picture quality is the best i have experienced and this TV delivers a stunning picture which sharp contrast and no pixelization and the sound quality is also great with everything sounding like it has just happened beside you and with Pioneer's new PDP-505HD Advanced PureCinema, material on DVD, videotape, and even...

Pioneer PDP 427XD Review
Advantages: clear black screen, fantastic sound, awesome, more more more
Disadvantages: dust, and screen burn (not a problem really)
...Well, wanted a plasma tv for ages, finally got courage to buy one, because of kids did want all of buttons hidden so did not buy panasonic, read review on Pioneer and was told best TV to buy.
Not wrong there, first very easy to set up, Control is not bad, not great but does the job.
Picture is Awesome, with HD will be out of this world but why pay for more.
Sound is incredible, i had philips Dolby Digital TV, to get great sound had to increase sound alot but with this 12 or 13 is clear crisp sound
Sexy to look at
Now the down side, first screen burn, so long as you turn contrast down to games mode, no problem my kids watch lots of tv with cbeebies etc and no burn, so yes picture looks little dark but ok though
my main gripe is dust boy does this TV pick up dust but small gripe.
Really 42 in is not that big as i...

Pioneer PDP 436SXE
Advantages: Excellent Picture Quality, Great Sound and a Stunning design
Disadvantages: Only one HDMI slot
...We had our Philips 32" CRT for quite a few years and we decided that we would upgrade to an HDTV. When we were looking around, one TV stuck out from the rest, the Pioneer 436SXE.
The picture quality is fantastic, whether you're watching any form of TV programme, DVD's, the quality is brilliant. Especially compared to our old Philips.
Sound performance is good too and we're just listening to it through the integrated speakers.
On the outside, the TV looks outstounding with a glossy black finish.
The only one downside to the TV is that it only has one HDMI slot. This means if you have a Sky HD box and a DVD player that possesses HDMI, you'll have to keep switching between the two. I don't find this a huge problem though as even though it adds to the cost, you can purchase an HDMI adapter to enable to connect both devices.
If you...

Pioneer PDP 507XD
Advantages: Breath-taking quality
Disadvantages: none as yet
...This TV simply oozes quality in every area. The panel itself is of the highest quality I have ever experienced. Some firms make the mistake of producing a high-quality panel, coupled with mediocre sound. I really do believe this set has extremely high quality speakers built in.
Spending Ģ2k on a TV, you don't want to buy something that is going to become obsolete anytime soon. Now we all know how fast-paced the TV market is, but this set tries to combat future technology with the inclusion of 2 HDMI sockets (to connect you HD peripherals) and 3 scart sockets. Quite simply, this set has plenty of connectivity options.
You really do get what you pay for with this set.
Now I'm told black designs are 'in' this year. Pioneer have obviously followed suit with their new range of plasmas, and I have to say, whilst you watch a tv...

PDP-4280 XD - Crispier than a Chinese Duck!
Advantages: Excellent sound, excellent vision, modern technology at its best
Disadvantages: A tad expensive, slight issue with shadows
...The Pioneer 4280XD a fantastic choice of television and quite possibly one of the best plasma options currently out of the market, before it's release there was a massive hype within the circles that follow this sort of thing and you should know that the visual quality even when not on High Definition is absolutely gob smacking but then for the price it retails at, you'd expect as much wouldn't you? Unfortunately there isn't all that much I can tell you about this product, after all it's a tele and the best way to review a tele will always be to watch it but as per usual I'll give my insight and hope that it helps you the consumer make an educated decision regarding the PDP-4280, perhaps the best way to start this would be to reveal the specifications.
Features and Measurements:
Screen Size: 42 inches
Aspect Ratio: 16...

PDP4270xd GREAT Value palsma!!
Advantages: Value for money, pure blacks and contrast reproduction
Disadvantages: 1 x HDMI, no PC input, cant take 1080i or p signal unlike 427xd
...i am a experienced tv retailer and i am hell bound to give my personal and impartial opinion.
this tv is a great buy for those who can see the light and realise that 1080i/p signals are too far off to be buying a 1920x1080 res tv now!!
although most people who have the money will probably opt for the higher model (PDP427xd) as this has the ability for process the 1080i signals and re-interpolate them to fit the 768 screen personally i feel from experience that what ever you are using will look better if it is set to the 720p mode as then the TV is not messing with the signal.
the tv does benefit from having the best Plasma Contrast processor on the market and this shows especially when you are watching movies and sport.
this is normally a given when it comes to the Plasma VS LCD debate but even against other Plasmas this TV...

Pioneer PDP 505XDE HD TV Review
Advantages: State of the art sheer luxury, excellent design and drop dead sex appeal
Disadvantages: Have you got a room which can cope with this monster or indeed the wallet?
...The chance to own such a TV comes around only when you have usually :-
1. Robbed a bank
2. Landed a windfall
3. Bought one knock off from the local pub
4. Borrow your rich mates flat and claim you live there
I actually managed to look after my mates flat and lo and behold his new toy was sat in corner or should I say the wall was built around the TV!!
There is every single sort of option which you could ever need in a TV including its own tuner, so one hell of a lot less cables! This baby is HDTV enabled which means it's going to be future proof for a long time to come. The screen size does come in various sizes but I had chance to watch the 50" version which is the grand-daddy of them all, smaller screen sizes equate to lower prices. The pciture quality is SUPERB!!! It simply knocks the socks of my JVC 32", my JVC ain't bad...

pioneer sv50
Advantages: Sound
Disadvantages: None
...The pioneer sv-50 satellite speaker/subwoofer package, each of the five channels of satellite speakers produce 100Watts and the subwoofer punches out a very nice thumping 110Watts of power.
Onto the speakers... here we have 100Watts x 5 all five channels produce an excellent crystal clear sound, you will hear every crumb dropped in a film and every ding in music when listening to these astonishing speakers.
Not forgetting the subwoofer, the subwoofer included produces a very nice clear, clean, thumping bass sound perfect for all those action movies and all those bassy songs.
These speakers sound great but they dont only sound great they also look as good as they sound producing a very modern new millenium kind of look, they are very stylish to suit your other stylish equitment you may want to hook these speakers up to...
