Advantages: Great sounding, deep rich bass. Disadvantages: Needs time to set up correctly.
...This is part of Pioneer's accelerate range which has been around for
some years now. The TS-W 306C is a 12" sub woofer designed to
be fitted to a sub box which is sold separately.
Fitting
The sub woofer comes with a pack of screws and double sided foam
which is secured to the back of the speaker and then mounted onto
the box, so as to give a perfect seal when screwed to the box.
This is then mounted in the boot of your car. The only connection that
you need to make is the speaker wires which is attached to the side of the box. I recommend using a good quality OFC (oxygen free cable)
This cable is then connected to the speaker terminals on your amp.
Performance
This will vary greatly depending which amp you will use to drive this
speaker. As a rule i would suggest you use a good quality amp
rated 200 watts and above...

Review of PioneerTS-W 306 C
Advantages: Made by Pioneer, great looks, cheap price Disadvantages: the bass might not be to everyones taste
...As the title says if weight is anything to go by then this 12" (30cm) pioneer sub speaker should be able to rattle my insides very well.
I picked this sub up on ebay for about £40 including postage which is about half the RRP for this speaker.
The package comes with 8 long screws for fitting to the sub box that you intend to use and some sort of foam with double sided tape on one side to stick it to the bottom of the speaker, which i guess is there to help seal it against the box.
As my muisc tastes range from pop, dance and a bit of Sean Paul at times this sub seems to be comfortable at handling all sorts of music
Size wise this sub will need a decent sized box to get the best out of it, there are custom made boxes for this that would fit in the boot of my car using all the dead space over the wheel arch and still leave...

Review of PioneerTS-W 306 C
Advantages: Backs up 4.7GB of your important data Disadvantages: None as yet
...On a never ending quest to improve my computer set up I decided I needed to purchase a DVD recorder drive of some sort. Backing up my important data using my CD-R drive was a time consuming operation which used four CD-R`s every time. I had been put off by the high price of DVD recorder drives while they remained fairly new but over the past few months prices have dropped to such an extent that a DVD recorder drive can now be bought for under £100. When I saw the Pioneer DVR ? 106 drive available for £88 at Dabs.com I did not hesitate in ordering the drive which duly arrived just two days later.
Now a problem that faces consumers when they decide to buy a DVD recorder drive is that there is more than one type of blank DVD media that can be recorded upon, these are DVD-R and DVD+R. Many people have argued long and hard extolling...

Review of Pioneer DVR 106
Advantages: Sexy, packed with features, smart design, easy to use Disadvantages: price?
...A month or so ago I purchased a new car, MK4 VW Golf 1.9 TDI. Not being brand new, I wanted to make some changes to make it feel more like mine. First thing I noticed was the out-dated sound system in the car. Despite being a 51 reg, it came with a tape deck of all things and a 6-disc CD changer. Ugly, boring and outdated. I wanted something a bit snazzier. I had seen other Golfs with single DIN units, meaning there was a horrible gap in the dash board. Opting for double-din was the only logical choice. Most double din units are expensive and incorporate a DVD player or sat nav of some sort. I wasn't after that, just something to play MP3 CD's and the radio. When i saw this one though, i fell in love. The sexy fascia, blue lights and jam packed features made it a must buy.

Review of Pioneer FH-P80BT
Advantages: Very, very cheap; SATA; Fast; Reads/Writes most DVD formats Disadvantages: Only comes in beige; No DVD-RAM writing (Read Only)
...Make: PIONEER
Model: DVR-212D
Specification: DVD±RW (±R DL) drive - Internal - Serial ATA - Read speed: 40x (CD) / 16x (DVD)/ 5x (DVD-RAM) - Write speed: 40x (CD) / 18x (DVD±R) / 10x (DVD±R DL) - Rewrite speed: 32x (CD) / 6x (DVD-RW) / 8x (DVD+RW)
REVIEW
I bought my Pioneer DVR-212D, a few days ago for just £11 inc. VAT, BRAND NEW, from eBuyer.com. I hope you agree that's an incredible price for a S-ATA DVD rewriter.
I only really needed the Pioneer drive to aid in testing the functionality of another more current P-ATA DVD-RW drive that was exhibiting some very odd behaviour that I wasn't absolutely certain was the drive's fault, so I wasn't too fussy about it being highly specified. Having said that the pioneer handles all manner of read/write formats with the exception of writing to DVD-RAM and writing Lightscribe data...

Review of Pioneer DVR-212D
Advantages: Greater functionality and ease of use Disadvantages: Price
...quality and build are second to none - they analyse the sound from a CD with super accuracy, punshyness and detail. Compared to the MK2, its functionality has definately got better with its track search speed being imporved significantly. Once again, the layout of the buttons are easy to use and see even in the dark, and Pioneer have made more effort to better the information display - its brightness and clarity are a major improvement on the MK2.
Cons
All in all, there are no cons in my opinion - this piece of equipment is the very best any dj has at his fingertips. Being critical, I would say that its price (£700) is expensive to beginners and intermediate dj's on a budget, but if you have the money to burn, this is a piece that you MUST have or that you are able to use in this ever changing music industry.
All in all, I love...

Review of Pioneer CDJ 1000
Advantages: Good sound quality, loads of features Disadvantages: Chrome effect peels from around volume control
...Pioneer DEH-30 MP
I bought this car stereo around 2 years ago for my car as I wanted something that sounded better than the standard stereo. I bought mine from Motor-mania for around £150.LCD blue screen and reads out what ever it is playing at the time.
I think it has really good quality sound even when the volume is on high.
It plays any CDs including MP3 and even ones that are slightly scratched play just as well on this CD player.

3 Band parametric equalizer
Selectable loudness feature

Review of Pioneer DEH-30 MP
Advantages: Rear wireless speaker, Great Sound and Picture Disadvantages: None
...The Pioneer DCS 525 comprises of a DVD player, subwoofer and 4 speakers packaged together. I bought this system from Internet for the very reasonable price of £350
The heart of the system is a DVD player, tuner, alarm clock and 100 watt subwoofer combined together in a compact and slim design.
To give the home cinema effect, four speakers are provided. These comprise of a sub-woofer and four satellite speakers. These speakers seem pretty robust and have 100 watt output each. You can also tell the system far away you sit from the speakers so it can better your sound.
Features
The DVD player will handle playback of the the following formats: CD, DVD, DVD-R DVD-RW, CD-R, VCD, SVCD, MP3 and JPEG.
You are given a choice of Dolby Pro Logic Surround / Dolby Pro Logic Surround II / Dolby Digital / DTS Digital Surround sound...

Review of Pioneer DCS525
Advantages: Same functionality as CDJ-1000 but half the price Disadvantages: None I have found
...I have owned the Pioneer CMX-3000 for almost two years now. My dilemma was that I wanted CD decks, but couldn't afford to spend £1,400 on a pair of CDJ-1000MKIII but still wanted the build quality and functions of a Pioneer unit. I believe I have found this with this unit. As well as having an auto cue, it has a built in loop function which basically acts as a sampler. Once loop points have been set it can then be saved into the bank memory of the unit, which is another great feature. From my extensive use of the unit, I can honestly say that I have never had any trouble with it, and I recommend it to any dj (being beginner, intermediate, or advanced). I believe that with this unit you are getting as much funtionality and build quality as the CDJ-1000 but at a snip of the price!...
