Reviews of pirates of the caribbean worlds end
Captain Jack Sparrow returns!!!
Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (DVD) by
The_Reviewer1980
Advantages: Humorous, Well acted and imaginative
Disadvantages: May have missed their original target audience slightly
...At worlds end is the third installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film and let me just start off by saying that it is definately a film that I would recommend to anyone who enjoyed the first one or two of these films.
For those of you that havent seen any of them then as a brief outline, Johnny Depp plays captain Jack Sparrow, A notorious pirate but one that always likes to run away from fights and avoid all the real nitty gritty. He makes himself out to be the greatest pirate of all time but he is more crafty that pirate like and always tricks his way in and out of all situations some how.
The third film centers on the story of Davy Jones (As in Davy Jones Locker), Jack Sparrow is indeed in Davy jones locker and the rest of his crew sail to the worlds end to save him from said place. Once accomplished they set out to take...

Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End DVD
Review of Pirates Of The Caribbean - At World's End DVD by
Spottydog11
Advantages: Action and adventure, great scenes, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp
Disadvantages: A bit long
...Pirates of the Caribbean at World end is the third movie in the Pirates trilogy. It follows the crew of the Black Pearl (the Pirate ship) rescuing Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones' locker and then preparing to fight the East Indian Trading Company who are intent on extinguishing piracy. I'm not going to spoil the rest of the plot/movie for you as I believe you should see it for yourself so I will just now review the rest of the DVD and what I thought of the film/films.
At the box office it was actually the most successful film of 2007 and is the second most successful film in the series. I think even if action and adventure films aren't for you (they aren't my most favourite) this would still be a film you like as it is very funny in places, the sets are brilliant and the action really is very well choreographed. My one complaint...

Pirates of the caribbean: At worlds end
Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (DVD) by
esteban1985
Advantages: fantastic action and adventure scenes, superb special effects, the last hour is fantastic
Disadvantages: start is confusing, odd and longer than it needs to be, overall too long
...Pirates of the Caribbean : At worlds end is (hopefully) the final installment of this series, although based on the money its made don't be surprised if another does turn up. Firstly i would suggest watching the previous one before going to watch this, because they continue on from each other, and if you don't you'll end up spending the first 20 minutes trying to remember what had happened in the first. Some of the key points to remember from the previous episode (dead mans chest) are that at the end Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) went down with his ship and is now spending the rest of eternity in Davey Jones' locker (he's the weird guy with the tenticles on his face), Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) believes that his love Elizabeth Swann (kiera knightley) is in love with jack after seeing them kiss. While all this is happening...

YAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHH, she be a good game!!!
Review of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 (Wii) by
Mattletcher
Advantages: interesting story, fairly simple controls, good use of wii remote and nunchuck
Disadvantages: average graphics, weak difficulty level, slightly repetitive
...Pirates of the Caribbean - At Worlds End on the Nintendo Wii is one of the better games i have had the experiance of playing.
Firstly, the storyline contains elements of the 2nd and 3rd films (Dead mans chest and At worlds end) which inter-twine with a new plot for the game which would keep even the most avid of 'Pirates' fan interested.
Secondly, the controls are fairly simple which makes the game more accessible to the inexperianced gamer, but mabye too easy for the experianced gamer.
The graphics could be better but are more than good enough considering the amount of storyline put into the game. The gameplay itself can become repetitive as there are quite a few cut scenes that the player is just left to watch and can act as a distraction when trying to get involved in the game.
The game becomes more enjoyable with parts...

But why's it all gone rum?
Review of Pirates Of The Caribbean - At World's End - Various Artists by
crispybits
Advantages: Will please fans of the film.
Disadvantages: Expensive, Not one of Hans Zimmer's best scores.
...The soundtrack for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END could have been a three-hour dirge of overly-orchestrated fussing, I consider my ears fortunate that HANS ZIMMER sliced the whole thing down to an hour for the CD merchandise release.
Now, I'm not a mean-spirited person and I have more than a few of HANS ZIMMER's soundtracks to prove I'm a fan. It's just, poor HANS, dear HANS! Try as he might, he's not a good inheritor of other composers' work.
This, generally, isn't a bad thing - see STANLEY KUBRICK's shafting of ALEX NORTH's score in favour of posthumous contribution by JOHANN and RICHARD STRAUSS (their brother Levi was unavailable for comment) amongst others for 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY. Great idea, excellent soundtrack and probably the most work those guys've seen since the mid-19th century. It also managed to set a trend...

jack sparrow returns
Review of Pirates Of The Caribbean - At World's End DVD by
jo_field26
Advantages: another good film
Disadvantages: requires a lot of concerntration
...I really liked the first two films in this collection and was so glad when the third film was finally released after the second one left with such a great big cliff hanger which drove me crazy, but the third film follows on perfectly.
In the third installation of the ever-popular Pirates we find our heroes Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) allied with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in a desperate quest to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).
I think all the characters in this film are fantastic and I could watch Captain Jack Sparrow all day he has me in stitches, Johnny Depp plays this role so well.
The special effects are wonderful.
I have to say I had high expectations for this 3rd film and it didn't disappoint me at all. This one required a lot more concentration than the first two so...

Pirates 3 - Zimmer at his best
Review of Pirates Of The Caribbean - At World's End - Various Artists by
mikeywhitto
Advantages: Brilliant, unique music
Disadvantages: None
... Overview
Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End OST is probably the best soundtrack I have. When I first listened to it, I was impressed but I didn't think it was spectacular. After listening to it a few times however, I started to love every track and have been hooked since - it is a truly fantastic OST. I am a big fan of a lot of music composed by Zimmer, but this CD beats all the others (Pirates 1 &2 and Gladiator are others).
Tracks
1. Hoist the Colours
Not a particularly interesting track, made up mainly of a small boy singing - still good but probably the worst on the CD.
2. Singapore
A brilliant track telling the tale of the Pirates in Singapore - there is some unique parts to this track and it can get you in a really good mood.
3. At Wit's End
It took me ages to get into this track, but when I did.... oh my...
