...This review is of the Pizza Hut Buffet lunch. The Pizza Hut Buffet runs weekday lunchtimes; the times vary according to restaurant but at my local Pizza Hut in Huddersfield, the buffet is on from 12noon til 2.30pm. There are two types of Buffet lunch available; Pizza only for £4.99 Pizza, Pasta and Salad for £5.99 so really great value if you ask me! You just go in, ask for the buffet lunch and are told to go help yourselves!The plates are usually under the counter where the buffet pizzas are or sometimes the waitress/waiter will bring them you. Yummy food - Pizza hut is hard to beat for the price.

Advantages: Suitable for all ages and food likes, nice pizzas, often has good deals,

...As a family (2 adults, 4 children) we have visited Pizza Hut a fair bit. We find that it is a nice way of everyone able to get what that want to eat - whether it is pizza, pasta, salad, chips - the menu, depite the misleading name of "Pizza Hut" is pretty varied, with new selections and deals being offered all the time. We mainly go to one of the Exeter or Torquay huts. So far, the service in Exeter has been superior. That's not to say we have received bad service in Torquay, we haven't. The staff there just don't seem to be quite so enthusiastic or willing to please than in Exeter, being more the "just get the job done" type of staff. In contrast the staff in Exeter go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. On our visits to Pizza Hut, we have always commented on how clean the place looks...

...Pizza Hut is one of the biggest pizza places today and you can find this restaurant all over the world. This is quite a cheap family restaurant selling pizza, pasta, salad and a range of desserts. Their staff are usually always very friendly and helpful, this is also a good place to have a children's birthday meal and they will bring through a cake you give them. Their prices are quite good and they do a range of meal deals and they also offer free refills on soft drinks, they also offer a cheap buffet during the day on a week day. They food they offer is very filling and you do get a lot for your money and it does taste nice. However I do find a lot of their food very oily and I have heard their food is extremely high in fat and salt, not a good place for those who are watching what they eat. Hut Nut, Pizza & Pasta - Pizza Hut

Advantages: price still accessible, and they do have now a wide range of food
Disadvantages: food quality, taste and freshness has been sacrificed to profitability

...I have always like Pizza Hut Pizzas and the salads in the past, in fact many years ago I worked in one in all areas from food prep, to waitressing. And there was one thing I was always proud off the freshness of the dough for the pizzas and the freshness of the salads. Unfortunately things changed to make pizza hut more efficient, which does not represent more freshness or customer satisfaction, as result salads now come all packadged and with a special gas to make them live longer but that also as far as I am concerned impacted in the salads flavour and freshness, and apparently the dough also come already made, and I am not sure what happen to the pizzas but they are way more greasy and not so tasty (obviously that is my opinion). One thing that they improved on is the variety of foods offered and for that I cannot fault them, as now...

Pizza Hut - The online ordering

...I ordered a delivery of the Pizza Hut's Cheesy Bites pizza. The website was easy to use to order the food. In the part where you put the address and sepecific requrement's, I always put dont ring the bell, and every time they delivery guy arrives, oh they only ring the door bell. The pizza usually is nice from there, except this time. The pizza was warm, not hot. The delivery man didnt have alt of change on him and short changed me too. Anyway more on the shop. Its in the high street of Wokingham, Berkshire. It is central enough for the Wokingham area, but a bit furthur out by a few miles is not too bad either. ...No quality control on product given out to customers, the way it is presented and the surroundings. This company has lost sight of what made it good to visit in the fiirst place. I will describe my last visit to Pizza hut and say that this is not an isloated experience. I live near Newport in South wales and the treat for my family is to go to the cinema in the shopping park there. In the same complex is a Pizza hut and we will go there and eat then cross over the car park to the Cinema. A lot of people do this as the place is packed at 6pm and empty by 8 when the films start. On entering the building there was a long queue both for diners and also people waiting for take aways. This means that before you enter you have had to squeeze past customers and you may well have queued for a while. On being seated we waited a while...

Mmmmm Pizza

...I have been to Pizza Hut twice in the last month mainly becasue I enjoy their pizza so much but also because they are very child friendly. I have two children, one is 2 and a half and has autism and the other is ten months and anyone with two kids that age knows that going anywhere to eat can be a challenge! Plus points on the kiddie front is a good selection of children friendly food such as macaroni cheese, spagetti and chicken strips (as well as pizza obviously). Childrens meals come as a meal deal at either £2.99 or £3.99 depending on what size you go for. Included in this is a drink and a salad bowl as well as the main meal. The ice cream factory thingy is extra but i think its only about 50p. Children have a separate menu which also doubles as an activity book and crayons are provided to keep them entertained. ...in all Pizza Hut is very fattening but it's great if you want a treat or if your not on a diet, the pizza is the best pizza I have ever tasted and the restaurant is family friendly, service is great and prices are the same as normal eating out places. Disadvantages: The pizza

...and salad bar seemed very squashed in the corner so it was a bit manic attempting to get food, you would have thought it would have been more of a feature, like in Harvester restaurants. It was quite clean, not many tables were left with dirty plates which is surprising seeing how short staffed they were, and how many people they were serving. OVERALL It was nice to see a friendly waiter, despite the chaos around him. Food wasn't specacular but for the price you are paying it is ok. I wouldn't recommend pizza hut to anyone, for a fiver you can get an all you can eat chinese just down the road, which is a much better option....
