A top place to stay
Advantages: Central location, helpful staff, comfortable, well-maintained
Disadvantages: lifts congested, no gym
...The Europa is Northern Ireland's largest and possibly best hotel, although some people have disputed that the latter is no longer the case, with the Hilton now taking away most of the celebrity guests. I stayed in the Europa for ten days in July 2002 when I was managing the Austrian Cricket team at the ECC European Championship, and it provided us with an excellent base for which to prepare for the tournament (and yes if you have read bazza1603's op on the place we were the cricket group mentioned - unfortunately we didn't get to meet up though). The fact it has been bombed several times during the troubles did not perturb me at all when staying here.
Location:
The Location is excellent with various bars and restaurants within walking distance, and more importantly for transportation it is very well placed, with a bus station...

A nice place to stay
Advantages: Convenient location
Disadvantages: None significant
...We stayed at Inter Continental Malta during our recent visit to Malta (Feb 2007). The hotel is located in a very convenient location, at St George's Bay. The hotel is about 10 km from airport and can be reached by taxi. The cost is 9 Lm (about £12). Taxi has to be booked from a central point and fare variation by different drivers is not there!
Most 4 or five star hotels have a reasonable size driveway, but this hotel is a high rise building and stands right on the roadside. You will be able to 'walk in' from the taxi or car drop off point. There is no provision to park here. Hotel has an underground parking for guests. Right across the hotel is a large shopping area and a huge McDonald's! St Julian's - shopping and restaurant area, is within walking distance. There is a multi-screen cinema complex and IMAX theatre right next to...

38 St Giles, Norwich - Easily The Best Place To Stay
Advantages: Amazing levels of service, brilliant breakfasts, comfortable high quality rooms. Central location
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
...Tell some people that you?re staying in a ?B&B? and they?ll secretly conjure up mental images of Blackpool landladies locking you out after 9.30 pm.
Mercifully, this now only happens on cartoon postcards.
The B&B I?ve just spent two nights at, in the centre of Norwich fully deserves the accolade of ?best place I?ve stayed at in Britain in a very long while? ? not so much a lodgings as a luxury hotel with no dinner menu.
Well, actually it?s better than that. How many luxury hotels would allocate one of the owners to look after you?
I?m not alone in thinking this ? many accommodation and travel web-sites such as Tripadvisor now list reviews of the 38 St Giles B&B describing it as ?the best place to stay in Norwich?, and it?s not the most expensive by a considerable margin.
Situated at 38, St Giles (the clue?s in the name...

place to stay!!!! excellent location
Advantages: very modern great if you like liverpools nightlife as only doors away.
Disadvantages: one bad thing was we found a pair of smelly mens socks under the sofa bed ha!!
...using a kitchen. had everything even pots and pans. it also had an ironing board with brand new iron, hairdryer.
the living room was stunning big huge patio doors onto a balcony, a flat screen tv with dvd player. a huge sofa with pull out bed, huge glass dining table everything in this apartment was brand new it was like a show home. somewere you could move into straight away.
the apartment is located about 500m away from the new shopping complex liverpool 1, it is two doors away from society a very well know nightclub, walking distance to china town its just a great place to stay with a very good feeling about it. i am again staying there this weekend and hope that soon in the future i could purchase an apartment just like this even so on this complex its a place i would advise anyone to visit....

Dumbleton Hall - A great place to stay
Advantages: Lovely setting close to many places of interest
Disadvantages: None
...hold and seat 100 guests at round tables. As the name suggests it is an oak panelled room with doors leading to the gardens and lake.
The Oak room has a dance floor area which is covered when not required but the carpet can be removed after meals in order for dances / discos to take place.
Afternoon Teas consisting of sandwiches, cakes and scones with clotted cream are also available at Dumbleton for groups but you need to telephone and book in advance for this.
I found Dumbleton Hall to be a very friendly and relaxing place to stay. I really enjoyed my short stay at Dumbleton Hall. The setting was awesome, the food very good, the service excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I did experience the feeling of being taken back to bygone times - it was such an interesting and old building with lots of artefacts from those...

A great little place to stay
Advantages: Generally cheap, very nice, friendly staff
Disadvantages: The London Underground!!!
...generally good. If you can't see it then you should turn left and there are several turns you can take at the same point. You just need to take the third from the left. Walk down that road and you'll see it in no time.
PRICE
The room cost us only £29 for the night, for 3 of us. At less that £10 each it was well worth it and I was very impressed. Needless to say, prices do vary dependant on when you book.
WOULD I RECCOMEND IT?
If you're looking for a place to stay and you're comuting from King's Cross or St Pancras you really can't go wrong for the money. It is great value and I would highly reccomend it. It is also worth noting that it is closer to the stations than the Kings Cross Royal Scot, cheaper than the Kings Cross Royal Scot, and as you can tell, much better. I really can't reccomend it enough, other than the passing trains, but...

An unusal place to stay
Advantages: A unique hotel
Disadvantages: Can be noisy
...Lumley Castle is located just off the A1(M) at Chester-le-Street near Durham in the North East of England and is part of the 'No Ordinary Hotels' Group. I stayed here with my husband for two nights in July 2005 as his little sister was getting married and the reception was here. There is the option of actually getting married in this castle but for a more atmospheric wedding I would recommend Dalhousie Castle in Edinburgh.
Reservations
----------------
I made our reservation over the telephone and found it to be very friendly and helpful. I was told about all the room types and rates available. There is a facility to book over the Internet but as we were wedding guests we were entitled to a discount, which you cannot get on the web.
Arrival
--------
Finding the Castle was not difficult as the sign posting is very good. When...

PROTARAS - A NICE PLACE TO STAY
Advantages: lovely area, fantastic beach, nice people
Disadvantages: everything closes on 31 october!!
...I have just returned from my honeymoon in Protaras, Cyprus and we have had a fantastic time. I will review the hotel that we stayed in separately (Capo Bay Hotel).
Protaras is on the East side of Cyprus, near to Ayia Napa. It is in the Paralimni/Famagusta area. Protaras is purely a holiday spot, it closes from November to March and I mean CLOSES! But more of that later on. Protaras is next to Ayia Napa, but it is family orientated and does not attract the gangs of lads that Ayia Napa does. We were there for two weeks, one of which was half-term and the place was packed with families.
Protaras is a modern, purpose-built resort located 14km east of Ayia Napa. The resort stretches over 6km along the sandy-beached coastline, interspersed with rocky coves. The resort has two main focal points - Fig Tree Bay and Pernera Beach...

Seamill Hydro ~ the place to stay!
Advantages: Caters for all ages, disabilities and interests
Disadvantages: Can be a bit expensive
...Looking for a luxurious and picturesque place to stay with lots to do for all the family? Look no further, the Seamill Hydro Hotel in Ayrshire has it all! We stayed here for two nights in May 2005 and were exceedingly impressed.
*** HOTEL OVERVIEW ***
The Scottish 19th century hotel is on the edge of the coast with views of the Isle of Arran and you can access the beach directly from the hotel grounds. The hotel highly promotes both relaxation and health/well being within a high quality, luxury environment.
*** LOCATION ***
Situated on the A78, from the south it is ½ mile within Seamill itself. From Glasgow, you would follow A737 and would pick up brown signs to the hotel.
*** FACILITIES ***
At this point, it'd be easier to put what they don't have! They have two restaurants, one main and a bistro. Children eat free in...

THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN THE HULL AREA?
Advantages: Clean and comfortable. Good Value For Money.
Disadvantages: Long Wet Walk From Check In to Lodge. View From Front Rooms
...) paper directory, and on the simple to use web site.
I have said this before in previous reviews on this chain, but I cannot help but thinking that in some respects, Innkeeper's tend to "undersell" their Lodges, in our modern puffed up days of PR speak that is refreshing indeed.
HAVE WE STAYED THERE PREVIOUSLY?
Yes we have. At that time, two years ago, this was a very new lodge. On our previous stay we actually celebrated our third wedding anniversary and in no way felt our room there to be a let down for that particular occasion!
Finding ourselves back in Hull, just before Christmas this year, it was the obvious place to stay.
BOOKING PROCESS 10 / 10
As with all of our booking experiences with Innkeeper's Lodge, this one was simplicity itself. We booked our room about ten days in advance using the highly efficient (fast...
