You wear it by wrapping around your ear and have the bottom bit poking out from under your lobe and towards you lips. The .Audio 45 is lightweight with a very flexible headband, although it is a little on the flimsy side and not overly attractive. The speaker drivers are constructed from hard plastic and are covered by thin pads. As a result, they aren't very comfortable to wear. Seperate cables come down from both sides, increasing the chances of getting yourself in a tangle. This headset can be connected either by USB or standard analog connections. However, the microphone plug lacks colour coding, so you're forced to peer at the symbols on the connectors to find out which is which. this isn't too much of an issue, but it makes things more difficult when you're scrabbling about the back of your comnputer. Plantronics .Audio 45 Skype Bundle Headset

Advantages: lets you talk for free
Disadvantages: not the most comfortable / adjustable headphones

...- kind of like walkman headphones from 1988 - with an adjustable band depending on how bif your head is (!) - although the foam coverings on the earphones themselves could wear a little thin, but not to worry, I'll just replace them with foam covers "borrowed" from airline headphones next time I fly... Set up is very easy, it really is just plug and play - although this will clearly vary on whick VoIP system you use - I've used it with Skype (just go to Skype preferences and set the audio input and output to 'Plantronics Headset') as well as MSN's & Yahoo's systems with no problems. As far as I can tell, or in terms of comments I have had from people I've been Skype-ing with, voice quality at the other end is very good and the sound quality at this end is great too. Youcan also use the headset to listen to CD's, MP3's etc - just fold...

...This headset is a bit expensive for its quality. Although i bought mine outside the country for a considerable lesser price, had i known better, i would have bought a wireless one. It is still functional after two years. I lost both of the voice tube microphone cover though and i think that is whats causing too much echo when i talk and too much mic sensitivity. That also causes alot of feed back so i have to press on mute all the time, and everytime i am done speaking, to avoid the feedbacks. On the upside it supports all Plantronics amplifiers and USB-to-headset adapters so i guess i just have to get one. It is also comfortable to wear for long hours. I would not recommend to get leatherette ear cushions, that made my ears sweat and itchy eeks....

...The Plantronics DSP 400 headset is the perfect headset for anyone interested in Podcast making, internet calling or video gaming. I have owned this headset for many years now and it is a fantastic product. At the time, it cost £50 although I got it for £30. You'll be able to pick it up for a lot less now, and its certainly worth it! I use mine mainly for internet calling with my friends and the sound quality of the earphones is exemplary. ...This is a very reasonable headset for the £40 paid for it. It can be used on both ears quite easily. This can be done by twisting the over-ear piece to accommodate which ear is preferred. The button configuration on the headset is convenient for both left and right handed people. I went for this headset because I bought a different Plantronics headset about a year ago and I could find no faults with it. So far, I can find no faults with the new 510. I find that the sound quality is extremely good, and it allows you to hear the conversation easily while driving along in the car. Also what I find very convenient is the additional cable that allows you to charge the headset in the car from a cigarette lighter. In the box was also 2 other additional ear pieces, that can be changed for every ear. It is lightweight and easy to carry...

...Have had this headset a few months now after reading a magazines review, and it has been perfect! My main use for this headset is gaming, for which the sound quality is exellent and the microfone is one of the clearest around. However, because of such good sound/mike quality it is also perfect for Skype, any form of internet chatting, Listening to music and also making/recieving phone calls! The height is adjustable to fit just about any head and the headband and earpads make wearing it for hours very easy, even after long sessions of use (3+ hours) my ears still felt fine and did so when i took it off, this is not like those cheapo headsets that after 5 minutes kill your ears.
