on headsets

Advantages: comfy all day wear
Disadvantages: loud feedback

...This headset is a bit expensive for its quality. Although i bought mine outside the country for a considerable lesser price, had i known better, i would have bought a wireless one. It is still functional after two years. I lost both of the voice tube microphone cover though and i think that is whats causing too much echo when i talk and too much mic sensitivity. That also causes alot of feed back so i have to press on mute all the time, and everytime i am done speaking, to avoid the feedbacks. On the upside it supports all Plantronics amplifiers and USB-to-headset adapters so i guess i just have to get one. It is also comfortable to wear for long hours. I would not recommend to get leatherette ear cushions, that made my ears sweat and itchy eeks....

Advantages: Lightweight, Easy To Use & Reliable

...This is a very reasonable headset for the £40 paid for it. It can be used on both ears quite easily. This can be done by twisting the over-ear piece to accommodate which ear is preferred. The button configuration on the headset is convenient for both left and right handed people. I went for this headset because I bought a different Plantronics headset about a year ago and I could find no faults with it. So far, I can find no faults with the new 510. I find that the sound quality is extremely good, and it allows you to hear the conversation easily while driving along in the car. Also what I find very convenient is the additional cable that allows you to charge the headset in the car from a cigarette lighter. ...Ahh, Technics SL1210 MK2 decks are a delight in themsleves, and proof that some things in life DO stand the test of time!! The Sleek Black casings, the silver pop up light, the black and silver feet, oohh it oozes class!! Not only are SL1210 MK2's the most technically accurate turntables, with the most amazing pitch control, they are very hardwearing, a friend of mines got tossed out of a 6th floor window in an emergency situation (!) and survived, well the covers never, but they still work a treat and thats the main thing. If you dont abuse your decks, look after the covers, maintain your needles regularly and keep the boxes, they will hold their retail value exceptionally well if you ever decide to sell them (though why would is beyond me!!)
