...Three months ago I went for a dental check-up and clean-up which then led to a session with the hygienist. After discussing how I manually brush my teeth, it was pointed out to me that my gums were in danger of receeding due to my over-zealous brushing technique! In addition, I wasn't doing a thorough job of removing plaque. I was advised to consider an electric toothbrush and after a practical demonstration I decided to try one - thinking it would be more fun than help! Which One? ...My dentist advised me to start brushing my teeth with an elecric toothbrush, I have a condition which effects my coordination so I wasn't cleaning as well as I should. I purchased a Braun plaque remover and it has turned out to be one of the best gadgets I have ever bought, brushing my teeth has become a real "labour of love". When I went for my check up last week, my dentist remarked on how clean my teeth were - there was no scraping or fillings just a quick polish and I was on my way. I wish I had got one years ago, it's made a big difference to my life - brushing my teeth is a lot of fun now....

Advantages: Healthy, Keeps teeth clean
Disadvantages: hard to get hold of

...they won't even notice it. A lot better than messing around with their mouths to brush their teeth everyday. It is quite hard to get hold of at the moment as it is a new product out but if you contact PlaqueOff they should be able to give you details of where you can get it. There is also a list of stockists on their website which can be found through google. I'm not entirely sure how it works on removing plaque something within the seaweed content I think, but my dogs teeth are shiny clean with very minimal plaque on their teeth, there gums and general mouths look great I am definitely impressed with this product. I would definitely recommend it to others as it will benefit your dog as some of the mouth problems dogs can get as they get older are horrible for them and this can help prevent and even stop this happening....

...This nail polish remover costs just over £1 which i suppose isnt bad for a large bottle like this but i dont think it is very good, dont get me wrong it will remove your nail varnish but it realy does struggle. My nails were painted a dark plum colour, it had began to chip a bit at the ends of the nails and looked horrid so i brought this nail polish remover to get the rest of it off. The bottle has a screw on lid which obviously you have to open, then i put a piece of cotton wool on the top of the bottle and tiped it quickly upside down and then right side up again there was a circle of nail polish remover on my cotton wool. I rubbed the coton wool up and down my thumb nail and could see the plum colour coming off onto the cotton wool, it was removing it. After doing this the coton wool was covered i plum nail varnish but...

Removes the stains, allgedly

Disadvantages: only works 50% of the time...

...dust was removed. I can only assume the two differences are down to the type of stain or the type of carpet. The carpet which didn't work is shortpile and quite thin compared to the one which worked very well. I can't really work out whether I like this product or not. It has definitely worked on one of my carpets and it was easier to use than sprays which take lots of effort to keep pumping the lever and then having to use a separate cloth to scrub into the carpet. It was however quite messy and not very easy to use for someone with small hands. I have given this product 3 stars as it has definitely done the job it said it would on one of the two carpets at least and I did prefer it to other brands I have used. I am, however, disappointed that it didn't work on both. I paid £4.99 for this and I'm not sure how long it will...
