...Balls of Fury is one of those marmite films? you will either love it or hate it. It is very similar to the Will Ferrell/Jon Heder ice skating comedy 'Blades of Glory' in that it is very very stupid, involves a former sports champion who has lost his way and a journey to regain his honour and name? well kind of! Randy Daytona was twelve when he was at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He was the red hot favourite for the table tennis gold and America's darling. There was no way he was going to lose, unless something made him nervous or distracted him. His father did just this by telling him he had bet a fortune on his son winning with the local Triads. Faced with this Daytona fell apart and not only lost but embarrassed himself the world over. 18 years later Randy still plays, but not competitively. Now he is a table tennis entertainer...

Its on the ball

...I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. I was expecting almost a child sized vacuum cleaner but there is not really much difference at all. It was so simple to put together, there are peel off stickers on the unit to explain things as you go. It only took me 5 minutes to have it assembled. The ball makes vacuuming effortless, and the head of the vacuum is narrow so its easy to get under the sofa, low tables, etc. It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently. The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is...

...Balls lots of balls, I bought 4 of these bags of playbills each bag contains 100 balls. I have for several; weeks thought I would like to buy a pool and some balls for my grandchildren to play in either at their hose or mine; daughter refused the offer so I bought some for my house. The balls I bought are CHAD VALLEY ones from Woolworths they come in zippered plastic PVC carry bag containing 100 of balls. I bought 4 bags each bag cost me £4.99 each normal price £6.99 they are on sale at the mo. I noticed in the early learning shop nearby 100 balls cost £10 no doubt they may be better quality but for my use I think the woollies balls will be fine... I also bought a Chad valley junior blow up pool to put them in. Let me describe the balls. These are PVC balls, each measuring 65mm diameter. It says they are brightly coloured well...

...ages: You get the game free with a remote! Disadvantages: The game can't be bought on its own! I havea recently spent time with my family where I was introduced to the Wii. The Wii game Wi Play is a game which you can get for the Nintendo Wii, its one of the only games which comes with a Wii Remote included. As you pay around the same price for a remote as for this game with remote it is really like getting a free game. The game consists of 12 mini games, which you unlock as you go along. The games seemed to me to be to play and we did have a lot of fun fun! Two people can play the games together.. Suitable for adults, children ( and wrinklies like me) the controls can be picked up easily and quickly - even for me.
