With its 4.3 inch, 16:9 wide LCD screen with a resolution of 480x272, youre sure to be satisfied with the view. If you buy a Memory Stick Pro Duo which is large enough to fit a movie (around 700MB), you can convert that movie and transfer it onto the PSP, therefore being able to watch movies on the go! ...** introduction ** I recieved a PsP ( Playstation portable ) for christmas and have been overjoyed by it so far. I only recieved one game so far which is Burnout revenge but the overall graphics, sound and size of the console have impressed me. ** Graphics** The graphics have lived up to all the earlier hype and are in my opinion on a par with the Ps2. I have burnout 3 on playstation and as i have already said Burnout revenge on PsP and after playing the ps2 then going onto the PsP i could hardly notice a change in quality. ** Size ** The PsP is slightly on the chunky size as it only just fits into the pocket and needs to be taken out and played on when sitting down. ** Sturdiness** I have dropped it many about three times onto a tile floor and the screen or casing has not been noticibly affected at all. ...The console itself claims to be as powerful as a Playstation 2, although it technically is inferior, on the smaller screen to the average person would be considered to be playsation 2 quality gaming. Based on using the Value Pack which I imported from Japan and now running Custom Firmware 3.40 OE, the playstation portable is a joy to use. Sony official firmwares seem to limit the consoles capabilities somewhat but using open edition firmware changes this. The interoperability offered between playstation 3 and psp is excellent, the games for the psp, many unique - including Socom US Navy Seals, Untold Legends, MOH etc are very well presented and althoguh on a handheld they are as engaging as ever. ...This product will be very hard to beat by competitors. The graphics for a handheld device are great and the games are made to keep you hooked for hours on end. the battery power is brilliant i can play for hours without a worry that the battery will die, especially if i use headphones which also adds to the experience of gameplay. This little machine has paid off from the day i got it, as it gave me something to do on long train journeys. Except gameplay, the number of features this has is unbelievable. Soon they will release a satnav for the PSP. Currently you can get a camera attachment, store pictures, store videos and movies and even browse the internet using a wireless internet connection. This is perfect for anybody, no matter how old they are, it has a great variety of games there is somebody for everyone.... Read review

Yeah Sure, You can play games and that is what the console is mainly intended for, but about 5% of my PSP usage is gaming. This is a must have for Internet Lovers! If you have a wireless router, get this! - Especially if your a Teen. If you Have MySpace or Bebo, this is great! Talk to your friends while your in bed, no £500 laptop needed. And its great just for a quick Internet Surf. Depending on your memory card, you can hold alot of music and pictures! I have 1GB memory card so my PSP is a Fun-Station! =] Graphics capability The graphics on the Sony PSP is good for a portable game device, but dont expect something that will take your breath away! To start off with, it has a high definition wide screen, with the same quality that you would get out of a PS2. Getting this amount of graphics into such a small space is not an easy task. It manages to keep this high quality running with it's speakers, which makes gameplay with it so much more enjoyable. Next, it already has a wide variety of games, which allows you to sit back in your seat and play for hours on a wide range of games, all taking advantage of it's great capabilities.
