Sa Caleta Playa resort

Advantages: family friendly. lolvey staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Safe
Disadvantages: None.

...Okay so this is infact my third attempt at writing this review because ciao keeps deleting it! Anyway? Menorca/Minorca♥ I thought that, in order to talk about the resort, Sa Caleta Playa I would need to just brief you on the island. Minorca is a small island and it?s one of the Balearics. Its neighbour is Majorca but it is nothing like Majorca. You can drive around Minorca in a day because it is so small. Minorca still has its traditional features and it nowhere near as ?touristy? as Ibiza of Majorca. Sa Caleta Playa Background info♥ Sa Caleta Playa is located in the town of Sa Caleta. This is a very small town about a 40 mins drive from the island?s capital- Cuidadella. Sa Caleta Playa is a First choice travel; agent resort. It is fairly small and right next to the beach. The apartments are pretty much in a row...

Cuba Playa Caleta: Hotel and Service from Hell!

Advantages: Could not find any
Disadvantages: A streessful, sickening, waste of time and money

...February 2009. Playa Caleta is rated a 4 star. Sunwing Travel advertises it as a Sunwing Club Exclusive...whatever that means? We would call it the ?Club Torture? The hotel has a spacious, open-concept lobby on two levels. The lobby and the rest of the hotel are filled with cigarette smoke. When we asked the front desk staff if there was any non-smoking public areas, they answered with giggles as they held their lit cigarettes below the counter. This is supposed to be a family hotel; if you or your children can survive the second-hand smoke that saturates everything, you will still have a family. Buses idled right in front of the open hotel entrance, filling the lobby with carbon monoxide. As we discovered, vehicles in Cuba have no exhaust standards. From scooters to buses, they all spew black or blue smoke. ROOM: There are...

Hotel Costa Caleta - Didn't Costa Fortune

Advantages: Modern, Clean, Close to amenities and beach.
Disadvantages: Bored with food, poorly staffed in bars,

...My summer holiday of 2008 was spent in Fuerteventura and my hotel of choice was the Hotel Costa Caleta. The hotel is also known by its former name Hotel Ocean Costa Caleta. Address is Av. Alcalde Juan Ramón Soto Morales Caleta de Fuste Fuerteventura Spain Tel:+34-928547550 I'm not sure if the hotel offers any car parking facilities as I hadn't needed any. It's a 3 star rated hotel and is quite modern and situated quite centrally in the resort of Costa Caleta (or Caleta de Fuste, or Castillo as it is also known) Only a short 10-15 mins transfer time from the airport. It has over 300 rooms. It was built in 2005 so is still quite new. The hotel is only about 5-10 mins walk (5km) from the beach and the shops and parks are all nearby too. They do have internet facilities with 2 PC's in the lobby with pay to use internet...

Summer sun at the Playa!

Advantages: Staff, cleanliness, rooms, food etc
Disadvantages: n/a

...If there's one thing I looked forward to all year, its a summer holiday. We try out best to make sure we go away every summer, and to date we haven't had very many bad experiences with the hotels we have picked. Last year, our choice of Holiday was to Tenerife. We booked our holiday at the very last minute. We were due to fly on July 6th, and at the beginning of April, we went into the travel agents and booked. Our choice of hotel, was the Iberostar Torviscas Playa, Costa Adeje, Tenerife. ** Travel Agents Recommendation/Booking. We started browsing through brochures and searching online for a summer holiday in around January. We came to the agreement that Tenerife would be our choice of hotel. We studied the prices in the brochures and haggled online, however although the offers online looked very good value for money, we...

Caleta Garden: family fun in Fuerteventura!

Advantages: Hotel atmosphere, staff
Disadvantages: Distance from beach

...I stayed at Caleta Garden in the summer of 2004 with my father when I was 16. We arrived in the middle of the night, so had to wait until the morning to get a good feel of the hotel. The transfer was very short, so we were close to the airport which is always good, hot coaches are terrible! We were situated on the second floor of the hotel above the games room, overlooking the pool in the middle of the hotel (it was like apartments around the pool in the middle). It wasn't an amazingly beautiful view, but made getting to the pool in the morning nice and simple! When we entered the room we discovered a cockroach immediately, but aside from that, the room was perfectly clean and had sufficient amenties. It was an apartment, not simply a studio and the only thing missing was air conditioning. The next day before we went to explore...

Cheers 2 U - Playa

Advantages: A few good tracks to pick from
Disadvantages: Blinkered subject matter and inconsistent level of performance

...snares and heavy basslines set you up so high you actually forget the guys are on it! The line 'I cant stay in one place i cant sit still' kinda sums this track up. It could have been anyone singing on here the beat would have won the battle. The first single off the album but not sure if it charted, criminal All The Way - Slow the tempo down slightly and you get this little ditty. Quite a nice come down which shows to me that like Timbaland tunes you dont know whats coming next Everybody Wanna Love Somebody - Not bad, not as good as the first tracks but acceptable. Slow tempo with a heart felt message. Not one for me really Together - Same again on this track. Playa showing they have a soft centre, bring back the beats, bring back the beats I-65 - Again not bad, middle of the road stuff, the lack of features are telling me they...

Torviscas Playa is Top!

Advantages: Great location, Near beach, Attentive & happy staff and good food.
Disadvantages: Cold Pool, Built up Area, Noisy Road, Dinner gets packed

...We have just returned from the Torviscas Playa (September 2007). On first impressions, I wasn't sure as the building looking like it needed a little paint. However, once inside the hotel is clean and well kept with shiny marble floors everywhere. The Reception staff are efficient and really friendly. On arrival the Hotel supplies a small token orange drink, which we thought was a nice touch. The Hotel is in Costa Adeje and is very near to shops, bars, restaurants and a pharmacist. Playa das Americas is not that far away but you would need a taxi. There is even a Pharmacist across the road. Its very close to the beach and there are steps from the hotel, so not good for prams but you can get to the beach another way, which takes an extra 5mins. The Reception and bar area on the ground floor is very spacious with comfortable sofas...

Playa Moreia Apartments S'illio Majorca

Advantages: Very cheap very good accommodation with brilliant views
Disadvantages: None

...Playa Moreia Review - Mallorca After just returning from what is probably one of the best last minute holidays I have had I thought it important to share my views with you. I, like you, always like to read reviews of places before I visit them, but, this time it was even more important because it was the first time that I had not booked with a Tour operator - I booked on the internet at a wonderful price with just 10 days to go. In the main the reviews for the Playa Moreia on the internet are good and thankfully I took no heed of the bad ones, what do some people want I ask myself. I have now returned to England and I have nothing but praise for the Playa Moreia. I think its important to point out that the official rating of the Playa Moreia is a 2 key - but I would certainly rate it as good as any 3 star I have stayed in...

Tabourente playa la palma. lovely hotel..... thats about it!

Advantages: incredibly clean, lots of room for guests, good VFM
Disadvantages: not alot to do

...Myself and my partner have just returned from a week in the H10 Tabourente playa and thought that the hotel itself was brilliant, one of the best hotels ive stayed in. the only thing that let the holiday down is the lack of activities. We booked the holiday through Thompson back in April and got a very good deal for a 4* hotel. when we arrived we had a 5minute transfer to the hotel (you can see the airport from most of the hotel rooms), reception were a bit slow in booking everyone in but the reception staff seemed very friendly and spoke excellent english. The room itself was on the 4th floor so had good views of the pool area, a partial sea view and full view of the airport (which is ok as there are about 4 flights a day, last leaving about 9pm so minimal disruption). The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels for us, nice size...

spring playa la arena

Advantages: accommodation, food, views, quiet and relaxing & no time share touts around
Disadvantages: hilly location, evening entertainment, very few bars in the immediate locality

.... Comparisons Having spent last years vacation at the Vulcano ( a sister hotel), we guess it is natural to make comparisons, but there is little to choose between them as they both provide the same very high standards in terms of food, room comfort, cleanliness and general "feel good" factor. Hotel Playa la Arena will more suit those requiring total relaxation, whilst the Vulcanos location provides plenty of nearby alternative evening entertainment, due to its relative proximity to Las Americas and the nearby strip of bars, some of which provide live music. Conclusion A most beautiful and immaculately kept hotel, which is a credit to both its owners and the management/staff who keep it that way. It exudes a warm ambience coupled with a cosmopolitan feel due to its popularity with the indigenous population and provides a relaxing...
