Winnie the Pooh Playgym
Review of Winnie the Pooh Hundred Acre Wood Play Gym by
frixxy
Advantages: Stimulating for baby
Disadvantages: Bulky and Pricey
...My daughter is now 8 months old and was bought this playgym for christmas. At first I thought it was a waste of money because she was far too small for it when she first got it. It says suitable from birth but my baby was just too flimsy to sit in the ring and if she just lay in the centre of the mat she couldn't really see the hanging toys. So it lay dormant in her bedroom until she was able to attempt sitting up by herself about 6-7 weeks ago. Now I think its brilliant this gave her the support to sit up and reach out fot the hanging toys. At first she loved looking into the beehive top as it has a mittor on the bottom and she could see herself the when she became more sure of herself she found tigger -poor tigger now gets some abuse its easy for them to get a grip of and it springs so she loves pulling this toy. The rings itself...

****JUNGLE MADNESS****
Review of Little Tikes Jungle Gym by
star333
Advantages: Colourful,a brilliant design, very sturdy, lot's of activites, easy to move, kids love it.
Disadvantages: pricey, child can fall of the platform, openings are a bit small.
...**********JUNGLE GYM********************
Last year, we knew that it was about time to buy a playgym for our back yard, as my 4 year old daugher loves playgrounds and I couldn't keep taking her there everyday.
After looking around many shop's and pricing playgyms up we eventually settled on the Little Tikes Jungle Climber.
***LITTLE TIKES TOYS***
Little Tikes is a name I trust, they make high quality toys which last forever.Little Tikes would always be my first choice for outdoor toys. They make so many different outdoor toys it's hard to chose which one you want, they are so well maded, brightly coloured and very strong.
***DESCRIPTION***
The Little Tikes Jungle Climber is a play-gym that can be used indoors or outside, but it's best to keep it outdoors, as I thing it's way to big to keep in the house. It stands...

Anyone want to play with rust ???
Review of Hedstrom Brecon Play Gym by
Bens__mummy
Advantages: Kids may enjoy it, Price
Disadvantages: Rusty after a month, takes a lot of space up,
...We waited months for ours Headstrom swing set because of the mix up with Argos and so on. Though last month it finally arrived. To my surprise the box was tiny and would have fitted in the back of the car anyway. Though once up and now a month on I wished Argos should have kept it.
♥ What is the Headstrom Brecon Playgym ? ♥
The Headstrom Brecon Playgym has 2 swings and a gilder swing that has a seat at each end of the gilder swing. This can take up to 4 kids aged between 3 and 10 years. The seat can be changed with ease. Making this stable for a baby to use if you have a baby swing seat. You can also make the swings shorter or longer by simply untying the ropes. The ropes that hold the swings are very steady and safe
The frame is bright blue and orange and made from tubular steel. The swings seat are made...

Our wonderful investment
Review of Hedstrom Brecon Play Gym by
brofr
Advantages: Inexpensive, Good Quality, Easy to Assemble
Disadvantages: No toddler seat provided as an option
...Researching childrens outdoor play systems left me gasping for breathe at the outrageous prices some manufacturers were charging. The Hedstom Brecon Playgym was recommended to me by a friend who had seen one in use. We bought ours from Woolworths online, no delivery charges and although they state "allow 14 days for delivery", we got ours in 5 working days.
The assembly instructions were very precise and easy to follow with exception of that of the assembly of the glider. They omit to tell you to use the nylon spaces and you are left with 8 of these after assembly but it becomes apparent where they need to be fitted as without them the glider is very unsteady.
The quality of this item is not compromised at all by the low price tag, it is as sturdy as all the competition....I am still trying to work out why there is such a huge price...

Woodland Joy
Review of Winnie the Pooh Hundred Acre Wood Play Gym by
thejigglyone
Advantages: Stimulating toys, beautiful colours, keeps baby quiet for a few mins!!
Disadvantages: Hard to store unless you dismantle.
...I bought one of these a few weeks ago for my 9wk old daughter. I think this one is beautiful, that's why I was attracted to this one, I'm just a sucker for Winnie the Pooh! Sssh don't tell anyone!
CONTENTS
* Sort padded blanket (i call this a play mat)
* Inflatable ring
* Cover for inflatable ring
* Canopy
* Hanging toys and rings
FEATURES
There is lots for baby to do here. This is suitable from birth and you can inflate and deflate the ring according to your baby's development (my toddler had great fun in this as soon as my back was turned). My one isn't inflated too much, this is so my baby isn't sitting up too far, the ring supports her. As she gets older and sits up herself then the ring will be gradually inflated more and more. There is a big canopy over the playgym, this comes with detachable toys...

Shape up baby
Review of ELC Baby Gym by
mumsymary
Advantages: contented baby
Disadvantages: ?
...E.L.C. PLAYGYM.
My friend at work knew I had just become a grandparent and asked me if I wanted her baby gym as her daughter is now 5 and has not played with it for many a year. I said yes as although sleepy dormouse my daughter received one as a gift for Adrian (hers is a fisher price musical one.) I thought it would come in for visits.
It comes in 3 pieces a bar for the top and legs/stands for each side so baby lies under it. The top bar has a handle attached to it a useful addition making it easy to carry/move.
It has two things attached to the top bar a rattle that baby can twist and turn with a,b,c written on it. The other attachment has 2 disks to turn and rattle all in a nice bright yellow and red. Adrian tried it out yesterday he liked knocking the rattles to make the noise he smiled and did it again.
It would...

Sparkly pianist in the making...
Review of Fisher Price Sparkling Symphony Gym by
lj54
Advantages: Bright, durable, chunky, adaptable
Disadvantages: detachable orange top...
...The sparkle gym first came out when I was pregnant with my third child and I oh so wanted to get it for her but after my house was crammed with lots of various gyms, playmats etc I decided not to bother so when I found out I was expecting my fourth child I immediately sent dear hubby out to get it.
It was very simple to assemble, took around five minutes and only a couple of screws were used. It is very appealing in its looksas it has bright blue chunky legs( a bonus when you also have a toddler on the loose!!), the main keypad is white but the star shapes above the musical keys are pink, blue, yellow, green and purple. All the big coloured stars have happy smiley faces on them.
It can be used in three different modes, one as a playgym where you lay your 0-6mth old underneath to kick the three rattles which hang underneath...

Rock-a-bye baby...
Review of Graco Baby Swing by
tamsin23
Advantages: Great for entertaining young babies
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, bulky to store
...When Freya was around 8 weeks old, we decided to purchase a Graco Playtime battery powered swing for her. Being so young, there was little we could do to keep her occupied. She had a playgym and a bouncy chair but also being a little colicky, we were recommended a swing as a way of relieving the pain in her tummy.
The swing stands around 3ft tall and is around 2ft x 2ft wide. It is mounted between two metal frames and is controlled by a panel on the top right of the frame. There is a choice of 6 speeds - 3 green buttons to control the low speeds and 3 red buttons to control the high speeds. I found the high speeds to be a little too fast for a young baby. I would use the higher speeds for a baby 5 months plus.
The swing is completely automatic. When you push a button to start it, it starts swinging immediately, but takes...
