Disadvantages: can easily spend to much time on it

...I have to say I am a great fan of the playstation 2, my son has one and he loves to play it, as do I. Although I tend to limit the time he spends on it. I cant really find anything bad about the ps2, but lately it has been partly to blame for a few problems in my family, my younger brother who is 15 years old first got his when he was about 8 years old, he was over the moon, my mother also put a limit on the time he would spend on it. He was fine with this, he was`nt really a child who went out a lot so most of his time was spent on the playstation or having a chin wag with anyone who would listen, he was always very smart and sensible. Advantages: Ease of use, Simple, Slim
Disadvantages: Sometimes when you use fake joysticks they often get damaged quickly.

...My Experience I got this gaming console as a Birthday Gift around an year ago. So I have more than 1 years experience with this product. And I think that this is a great gaming console. I use this even to listen to audio CD's and watch movies.Yes, that's right you can also watch DVD's and listen to Audio CD's but not MP3 format cd's and dvd. Even so, the graphics of the games, the speed of game play, the ease of playing games with its Dual Shock 2 Analogue Joystick( even wireless is available) is just an amazing experience. ...The ps2 is a great console although it is almost10 years old. It has alot of features that anyone can use with ease. On it you can watch Movies, Play games and also play online with people around the world providing that you can internet access on it. there are a wide variety of games available for it and they are also quite cheap. The playstation itself can come quite cheap with prices starting at £40 in some shops. You might also want to get some accessories for it such as the vertical stand, the eyetoy camera and the DVD remote if you want one. The only bad points about the playstation i would say are the fact that it is quite fragile and would break easily....

Advantages: Big choice of games, can be stored flat or on its side, is a DVD player
Disadvantages: Disc read error problems do happen after alot of heavy use

...There have been a lot of doubters about the playstation 2 since its release in November of last year. However, I bought mine on release day and have been very impressed with the machine thus far. However I do understand how the more demanding gamer may become frustrated with the range of titles currently available. Admittedly the range of titles available on release was rather disappointing, but the titles which were released were of high quality on the most part. When orginally released the Playstation 2 was much larger in size than the slimline version which Sony released in 2004. I am going to look into what are the benefits of the new system and look at the good and bad features.
