Advantages: Useful, Multimedia Functions, Entertaining, Internet
Disadvantages: Does have the odd problems mostly HDMI issues.

One of the main reasons the PS3 has done well in the war against other consoles is that the games available on the this platform are much vast. Advantages: Best Entertainment System Avaliable, Region free games only
Disadvantages: 4GB file limitation External Storage, Cant read NTFS

...without dual shock. Need For Speed didn't feel the same without it the ride felt so smooth and unrealistic. It also has a great feature called SIXAXIS which was not in previous versions of the Playstation controllers. This works similar to the Nintendo Wii controllers where it is motion sensitive. This currently is not available in all games yet but I do know that it is harder playing like that but with practice it will be just as easy and more enjoyable. I personally do not like to use this feature as i find it much too hard to control but i guess practice makes perfect. All i can say about this design is "PERFECTION" i have loved this design since PS1 and i hope they never change it. The PS3 can support up to 7 Bluetooth controllers that's for than enough for me. If you wish to use it on pc all you have to do is connect the USB cable...

...I got one last year for Christmas and found it to be better than my XBox 360 in almost every area, in my opinion this truly is the best games console on the market and would recommend it to anyone who is into their gaming. Advantages: Cheap Blu-Ray player, great graphics, free wifi, internet browser
Disadvantages: Expensive, some games are better on 360, 40 GB model doesn't have backwards compatability

...There are probably 3 categories of consumer: (1) Gamers with a HD TV who are also quite interested in the multimedia/blue ray angle. (2) Serious gamers either without a HD TV or who are not interested in high def for films etc.. (3) HD TV/ multimedia people who are not that interested in games. If you are in (1) or (3) categories then this is a bargain at the moment. One of the cheapest/best blue ray players with constant support. Now upscales dvds and supports divx etc.. Supports the very latest version of blu ray and is future proof. Sony can not afford to have this fail and the constant updates are great and frequent. ...I have been umming and arring over which colsole to buy, the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I had heard a lot of positive things about the Xbox, and I had also heard that graphics wise and gaming wise the Xbox was slightly better than the Playstation 3.
