...I recently had a problem with blocked bath plug holes. I had tried bicarbonate of soda without success and I was about to go out and buy some drain clearing product when I had a fantastic idea. I realised that probably most of what was stopping the plug hole from draining was probably hair as both my partner and I have long hair. I saw that I still had some hair removal cream from my holiday earlier in the year. I decided that this would be a great way to solve my drain problem. I squeezed about a quarter of the tube down the plug hole and left it for about 20-30 minutes. I then rinsed it out with warm water. ...If you want a wireless network in your house, but like me don't know much difference between 802.11g and WiFi, or between hubs and bridges, then this Devolo ethernet plug should do wonders. It has me connected to the internet right now, and it works just the same as using a really long ethernet cable. The idea behind the device is that it uses the electric circuit in the home to act as a large ethernet cable, where every plug socket acts as a potential ethernet connection. Thus with two Devolo plugs running, you have a fuss free wireless connection. I have no idea how the technology actually works, I assume it's got something to do with sending pulses through the current, however rest assured it doesn't affect any other electrical devices when running. ...Great little item. With all the technology available and the different components I was finding it very hard to choose the correct speakers. If like me the jargon on certain items gets you confused, then these are the speakers for you. Basically all I needed was something lightweight and portable to use with my laptop to watch movies, they did not have to be really detailed I just wanted them to do their job. These are quite small measuring rougly three inches in height and two inches in width. I did not want to start having to plug them into an electric socket nor did I want to use batteries, so these are perfect as they plug straight into the usb. There is no driver to install, they work as soon as they are plugged in. The length of the lead is just long enough so that the speakers can be placed at either side of your laptop... Read review

...If your fed up with buying batteries for your Xbox 360 controller every time it runs out of battery then the play and charge kit is most definitely for you. With the play and charge kit you get a rechargeable battery pack which replaces your old won. Also you get a lead which plugs into the front of your Xbox 360 console. You simply have to replace your new battery pack with your old one then plug your charging lead into the front of your Xbox 360 console. Now you plug your lead into the controller, which will charge it. You can play using your controller even when it is charging. So when it runs out of battery again just plug it in and continue playing. I recommend the play and charge kit to all people who are fed up with rechargeable batteries.... Read review

...I bought these speakers in Austria for 13 pounds for the pair, and have been very impressed with them. They aer relatively powerful whilst being relatively unobtrusive with a small footprint. An added bonus is the "T Connection" whereby you can plug them into your monitor power cable and thus you don't need to use another plug socket. The bass boost is responsive and makes a difference, and the sound quality is very acceptible. Whilst you can get some much better speakers, the major advantage of these beauties is the very cheap pricetag. Installation is child's play and there are a total of two connections to have to make.... Read review

...Well isn't this a nifty little device? Doesn't it get annoying when you don't have enough space to plug in more PS/2 devices to your PC? PS/2 is becoming obsolete now and sometimes you will get computers without ports for them, including one of my laptops. Another problem with PS/2 ports are that they are always hard to get to; not only will you never find one on a frontal port section (on the front of a PC case) but at the back they are always buried under wires! Also, people with less knowledge about computers would be unlikely to know what a PS/2 port looks like, but will probably know what a USB port looks like! Anyway, I was getting annoyed at my latest laptop for not having any PS/2 ports, since I was planning to use it for gaming and my favourite keyboard and mouse for gaming are both USB.
