...I moved into my house four years ago and it has taken since then to totally redecorate and get the house looking how I want it. ...One thing that I really can’t stand about this here body of mine is that he’s a very light sleeper, bless him. If I’m in a hotel, and somebody farts in the room above me, it’ll probably wake me up. So passing traffic, drunken hooligans, noisy air-conditioning systems and low flying aircraft really don’t have to try very hard at all. My body is also a creature of habit and when he’s not in his own bed, he finds it even harder to get to sleep and stay there. So he needs all the help he can get. Given that I probably spend 40% of my life in hotel rooms these days, I’ve now reached the stage when I know exactly what I need to carry with me at all times. Advantages: A lovely smelling home, fragrance lasts quite long

...I like to use air fresheners and scented candles to bring fragrance to my rooms in my home, but find that sprays and gels etc just don’t give that required long lasting fragrance for me. Candles are good but you can’t leave one on when you go out (unless you want to run the risk of coming back to no home at all) therefore my favourite type of air freshener has to be the plug in type ones that I can leave plugged in, to release fragrance continuously! Such a plug in is the Ambi Pur 3volution (yes it is a 3) This is an innovative design, quite unlike any other, in that you aren’t stuck with one fragrance (which you tend to not notice after a while) but instead have 3 fragrances in one! ...I needed some sort of air freshener for my flat and I had it on my shopping list to buy a couple of weeks ago. I was stood looking for a while in the cleaning aisle of Tesco's when this Air Wick Aromatherapy Plug In Air freshener jumped out at me. We only have a small flat with not many windows, we try to circulate the air as much as possible but if we are out for a whole day the place does start to smell slightly musty. I thought this product would be perfect for the times we are not in as we can leave it plugged in and you can set the output of smell up to high or change it down to low labelled on the plug as 1 to 5. Price and Packaging ------------------------- This was slightly more expensive than all of the other air fresheners on the shelf especially the ones I usually buy (but those ones don't seem to work that well... ...I tried and I am reviewing the scent 'Oriental Dreams' I have to admit being a real sucker for these plug in air freshners, I have a dog who is a bit whiffy and 2 cats, who are both indoor creatures for health reasons, so in the warmer weather, you need a little bit of a boost in the freshness stakes. I saw Ambi Pur's new creation advertised fairly heavily on the TV recently. I thought I'd give it a go at some point and whilst doing my online shopping with Tesco I noticed it was on special offer, the unit & 1 fragrance trio was half price , at £3.49 from £6.99 (offer valid until Tues 06/06/06) and felt this was a reasonable price to pay for a new unit, as refils for other units are a similar price.
