Get ready to modernise your system.
Review of PNY Verto GeForce 6 6200 AGP8X by
samshep2008
Advantages: Get your money's worth.
Disadvantages: Not enough VRAM.
...Get ready for vista at a tight budget with PNY geforce 6200 AGP.
With 128MB VRAM you can go and enjoy the full range of graphic based tasks that vindows vista home premium has to offer, including the world famous windows aero.
Despite being least powerful out of the PNY/Nvidia geforce GPUs the geforce 6200 has an excellent collections of APIs including:
Direct X 9.0C, OpenGL2.0 and Pixal shader V3.0.
These are better then the original geforce 6 graphic card.
I have not decided to use the graphics card for vista.
Insteed I have used it to upgrade my system to play Elder scrolls IV.
For your information my PC had before hand:
-Windows XP Home edition SP2
-Intel centrino 2.93GHZ Processor plus 512MB RAM
-Old video card: Onboard 32MB gaphics.
-DVD ROM drive plus 80GB Hard drive.
-Sound card.
Now I can play better games and has improved my...

Not Worth It
Review of XFX Geforce 7300GS by
Omar788
Advantages: Reliable
Disadvantages: Too slow
...When Nvidia unraveled it's new lower end segment of graphic cards I was eager to purchase one of it's newer products, the 7300gs. I purchased this exact model (XFX) for about £45, at the end of last year. I thought overall it better in gaming than my then video card, the Asus 6200TC.
As soon as I received & tested the thing out, well I was disappointed. The older 6200TC was able to out clock the newer 7300Gs, when overclocked the 6200TC came in at:
520/680
While on the other hand the XFX 7300gs came in at:
560/550
Although the 7300Gs clocked higher than the 6200TC in the core region it didn't clock high enough in the memory region to out perform the older card.
Overall I would have to say if you are considering buying any 7300Gs model, don't. Instead save your money and buy a 7300Gt at the least, you'll get better performance over your...

Transform your ageing PC
Review of PNY Verto GeForce 6 6200 PCI by
JONXLR8
Advantages: Transforms the PCs performance, smooth running, good looking games
Disadvantages: Took a while to install, required spec on packaging doesn't match website
...on the lowest of the low settings. Unfortunately my version of Trigems' Imperial motherboard doesn't have an AGP slot so my hunt for a good quality PCI graphics card started.
After a bit of Googling and a quick read of the e4allupgraders forum I came to the conclusion that PNY and NVIDIA were names to look out for. I was surprised by the lack of choice in PCI graphics cards on Dabs and Ebuyer so bought my card from an eBay shop for just over £50 delivered which was at the time the cheapest I could find. In the package was the card itself, a driver CD, a case sticker, an S-Video cable, a DVI-VGA adapter should you need one, and a very basic and universal install guide. The only strange thing about the packaging was a sticker on the outside of the box stating the minimum required specs were a 400W PSU and a P4 Prescott CPU which didn't match...

PNY and nVidia do it again!
Review of PNY Verto GeForce 6 6600 GT AGP 8X by
haydox
Advantages: AMAZING GRAPHICS, loads of other features like Shadow and Lighting 'add-ons'
Disadvantages: None that I have noticed!
...I bought this card for around £120 after my ATi Radeon cooked itsefl, i was expecting this card to do the same as my ATi as it was the nVidia equivalent, but boy did it surprise me!! I pluged it into my mobo (a.k.a. motherboard - for you non-sad people out there!), installed the drivers, and it worked like a dream, no problems whatsoever, all i have had to do is update the drivers.
As well as being a breeze to install and set up, it is also very durable (unusual area to comment on about a graphics card!), but when my PSU (power supply) went wrong, and surged power into my system, the graphics card survived, and the CPU, mobo and RAM didnt!
Also, this card comes packed with extra features, like:
-Superscalar GPU architecture
-NVIDIA® UltraShadow™ II Technology
-NVIDIA® Intellisample™ 3.0 Technology
-NVIDIA® Digital Vibrance Control™ 3...

Gaming on a budget
Review of PNY Verto GeForce 6200 AGP by
sigmatech
Advantages: Good Price, Passive cooling
Disadvantages: Struggles on some of the latest games
...PNY GeForce 6200 256MB AGP
I have been running this card in my PC for the past year without a problem, I brought it initially because it was a reasonable price and was 2 generations ahead of the card I had been running a GE Force4 4200 ti 128mb, and also had twice the amount of RAM 256mb.
A lot of potential buyers would dismiss this card out of hand as it would be considered a budget card and of little use to those who enjoy gaming. I would contradict them as I do enjoy gaming but can't afford a £150 - £300 graphics card in order to play the latest games with all the knobs and whistles turned on; I have however used this card to play most of the latest games, maybe not at the top in game settings but at reduced resolutions and frame rates.
The rest of my rig would also not be the fasted on the market I have a 2000XP Athlon Processor...

RAM this one in for improved performance!!!
Review of PNY DRAM 512 MB PC3200 by
pumfster
Advantages: Reasonably priced. Stable
Disadvantages: Isn't compatible with all motherboards
...Well as I have said in some of my earlier reviews, I have recently completely upgraded my PC. As a result my 256MB RAM was seriously outdated and holding up everything else. Therefore I started the search for some new stuff.
Now I didn't wish to spend megabucks on RAM, nor did I want something substandard, which would also need upgrading a few months down the line. PNY are in my opinion one of the better companies around these days when it comes to computers. The makers of the popular brand NVIDIA GeForce in graphics cards, I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that they did a 512MB RAM stick.
The sticks themselves cost me £39.99 from PC world, although they are also available in other computer hardware stores and you can probably pick them up from one of the online retailers for a few quid less. I personally bought 2 of them...

Previous card experiences.
Review of PNY Verto GeForce4 MX 440 by
dudekri
Advantages: Cheap and runs most older games with minimal fuss.
Disadvantages: No shader support and not very powerful.
...With this card on the market i really wanted this one when i was buying a new PC. Having no idea about the games being developed and the details of graphics cards I got one. I was impressed how it boosted the detail of every game i had in my house.
I was able to play "medal of honour: allied assault" quite well with a decent Framerate of around 80-100.
Most games nowadays require shader support, and that is something this card does not have therefore you will very likely loose out on the features of that game plus a very poor framerate due to the old design of this card.
Make no mistake though, Nvidia have a reputation for not making good quality graphics available but they specialise in the stability of their cards. And this card was very stable, i dont remember any unnecissary rendering times and RAM access.
There a bunch of flaws...

Very good mid-range card, excellent bang for buck!
Review of PNY Verto GeForce 6 6600 GT by
desert_fox
Advantages: Very easy installation
Disadvantages: None
...I bought this card knowing little about computers or what to do with it. There are so many cards out there. and theyres about 100 varieties of just the 6600GT alone...so the market is huge and the differences are slight but may make a huge difference. after looking at the graphic card range, i decided on the 6600GT because of its price and clock speed. i chose the PNY card because the reviews were very good and theyre were little bad reviews which is always good!!
The card arrived, and i thought holy crap! its huge! i did not grasp just how big these things were. And by the way, if your handling anything inside your computer or components always touch something metal or wear those antistatic wristbands to make sure you dont damage the components with static!!
I opened up my computer . A dell dimension 4700 to be exact. and found...
