All the music ever made, ever, in your pocket.
Advantages: Vast capacity, feels well made, incredibly simple to use
Disadvantages: A bit on the chunky side
...its siblings, but for those who have an HMV store's worth of music on their PC and just want something to listen to music on, it really is fantastic.
APPEARANCE
It is a chunky little so and so. It's twice as thick as the old 30GB video, but since it holds more than 5 times as much I personally can let it slide. This is not an iPod for wearers of those ghastly skin-tight jeans with pointlessly small pockets.
I got the grey one which appears to be brushed metal, which is nice. Also it feels a lot sturdier than its predecessors. I think you could drop this one on the carpet and not have an aneurism.
It also still has the ridiculous mirrored back which will be more scratched than two drunken supermodels in a catfight after all of 30 seconds of sitting in your pocket. Yes, you can buy silicon covers (or if you're an idiot like...

ipod touch 8GB everything you need in your pocket!
Advantages: Being able to listen to your music where ever you are.
Disadvantages: Scratches easily.
...I'm 14 and I have recently bought an i-pod touch. In my opinion I think the i-pod touch is great, and has got everything I need i.e Internet, email, maps, music, games, videos, photos and lots more. I would recommend this product for people aged 10 years upwards. This product is really easy to use and if you do have any problems the 'Apple Genius Bar' in the Apple store are more than happy to solve your problem. The picture quality is excellent and you can turn the picture on the screen round by rotating the i-pod. The only thing that I can find wrong with the i-pod is that the back of the i-pod scratches very easily but you can resolve this by buying a cover for your i-pod. Although its a pocket sized music system it is also ideal as a home music system if used with a good docking station. Thanks John (age 14)...

The Apple Of My i
Advantages: Full Internet, Massive storage, Great design, Superb battery life.
Disadvantages: The Megapixel of the camera is put to shame by other phones available.
...I had been waiting for this day for some time. My 18 month contract with T-Mobile is coming up for renewal next week, however having had problems gaining reception in my area I'd opted to look elsewhere for a new contract. A few weeks back my problems were solved when I was shopping around to try and find the best mobile contract, and discovered that O2 would be stocking the Apple iPhone as of November the 9th. Not only was I looking for a new mobile contract, but also a replacement MP3 player so the Apple iPhone seemed ideal. I made plans to purchase the iPhone and on the evening of release made my way down to the nearest O2 store upon finishing work, bagging myself my very own iPhone at a price of £269. Although the price did seem a little steep, especially considering that I would be paying out a further £35 a month for the contract...

Your life in your pocket
Advantages: Easy-to-use, touchscreen, feature set, email, ipod, browser, applications, Google Maps & more
Disadvantages: Battery life isn't great, no flash on camera, no MMS, no 'set song as ringtone'
...Prior to getting my iPhone I thought they were an oversized, non-user friendly piece of kit everyone seemed to have just for the sake of having the latest toy.
I was wrong. The iPhone is the best thing I ever owned.
The touchscreen in my opinion is a wonderful addition. Zoom in and out, drag, spin, type, skim read easily by a flick of the finger.
I manage a website so I can use the phone on the go to access the site as you would see it on a typical computer screen - I can zoom in and out on certain areas or turn the screen for a better view. The keypad enables me to enter content onto the site also.
Email can be set up easily, and the display is excellent. I have folders set up in my inbox and switching between folders is very easy.
Calling quality is much better than my previous phone and the menu options for the phone are great...

**Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC H3950**
Advantages: Great Transflective Screen and amazingly fast processor
Disadvantages: Over priced
...º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤ºHP iPAQ Pocket PC H3950 º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°
This is a great handheld pocket PC and what's more, you can carry it around with you wherever you go. Just think of all of the things you can do with a compact computer at the palm of your hands. Write documents and notes when you need to, particularly great when organising your life to put it simpler. I mean, it's far better then a diary because if you're anything like me, you probably end up misplacing your diary and I wouldn't dare think of losing my pocket PC. You can easily access the internet from wherever you are, if you need to look up tube/train times at last minute, you can. If you perhaps want to just research something at a particular moment for example in a pub quiz - I'm not saying you should cheat at pub quizzes or anything - well they're easy anyway...

I have a small one in my pocket !!!
Advantages: good, many options
Disadvantages: expensive
...-on key suffices this PDA on the right above around, it is immediately operational after which, too start and one knows this like us of Windows is therefore dropped to switch on.
This Pocket Windows appears now, which actually looks like the normal Windows XP at first sight, when first, do I have this PDA adjusted, of course once the right time and the date but the information has a password allocated to protect around the PDA over the owner me too.
This PDA is protected over a fingerprint and therefore has to be cracked by no means but only later since I also must work with it in any case a fine is the fingerprint and she has a safe thing like me never seen at such a device, however, late if my boss works with that.
One can use the enclosed pin enter around addresses or operate the PDA generally, this one on the top side of the PDA is s...

Must read - HP iPAQ Pocket PC Rz1710 explained
Advantages: Cheap, small, productive and capabilities
Disadvantages: Lacks intergrated bluetooth and wi-fi
...This award-winning PDA or Palm top computer has a solid combination of productivity and small form factor. Hosting a SDIO slot, it is capable supporting SD/MMC standard type memory cards meaning you can use the memory card to hold up to 2GB of data, more then enough for hundreds of documents. You will always be on top of scheldule with the handy and well designed 'to-do' list and ensuring that the device is not just for work purposes, the device quite cleverly stores and plays music, videos and photos. For the more chatty amongst us, the HP iPAQ also comes with MSN Messanger.
At 70 x 13.4 x 114 mm and weighing only 120 grams, its thin and light enough to slip into the inside of a suit pocket quite comfortably. It features IrDA so if you have PC or Laptop which features IR, which a lot of laptops do, then transferring files suddenly...

The best iPod / Phone!
Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music
Disadvantages: needs a couple of firmware updates to become the perfect phone
...Given the rather briefness of the other iPhone reviews on Ciao, and given I've actually GOT one, I thought I'd do a proper review prior to the iPhone being launched in the UK.
Some history:
Apple have been making computers since the 1970's and were the first people to launch what we now call a home computer with the Apple II microcomputer in 1977. Since then, they have been at the front of design and innovation, despite having a few failures along the way, such as the Apple Newton in the 1990's. Apple have recently had two turnarounds, the first being the launch of the iMac in 1998 (basically a portable TV size computer with screen, but with funky colours and all in one design) and the other in 2001 when Apple launched the iPod... The rest, as they say, is history!
iPhone history:
During late 2006, rumours were...

Vtech V Smile Pocket educates and stimulates
Advantages: Turns game time into brain time!
Disadvantages: Need to separately purchase the Pocket Travel Bag to protect the LCD screen.
...When my eldest child (the one that is 6 going on 60!) received the V Smile Pocket I won on Ebay last Christmas, I received the biggest smile EVER! And so far, it has lived up to all that my eldest child expected from it.
- THE PRODUCT-
The V Smile Pocket is the handheld version to the V Smile TV Learning System, which is marketed for kids aged 3+. However, the V Smile Pocket is marketed for children between the ages of 5 and 9. Thankfully, the games you buy work with the V Smile Pocket as well as the V Smile TV Learning System. In addition, the V Smile Pocket can be played as a hand-held unit, or plugged directly into the TV for an at-home game play experience - thanks to the AV cable it comes with as standard.
As a plus point, the V Smile Pocket can accommodate both right and left-handed players. To switch to either right...

iPhone I like
Advantages: Modern technology, amount of software and number of devices.
Disadvantages: No protective case.
...iPhone finally arrived on the UK market on the 9th November although not with the same amount of media attention it received in the U.S. it was still popularly accepted by the UK market.
I bought mine on the 19th November for £269. This seems expensive but you get a digital camera, ipod and phone all rolled in to one with iphone + internet browsing and e-mail capability, also included are elements of a personal organiser (diary and notepad).
The main feature of the phone is the touch screen technology which operates everything.
Without boring you with technical detail I will tell you what I got from iphone.
There are 17 screens (buttons you can push on the face of the camera.) The 4 on the bottom horizontal strip are the phone, e-mail, internet browsing and i-pod.
There 13 buttons on top from left to right in 3 rows of 4 +1 are...
