The director has made sure to go to the same point of action just before the attempted assassination for each person that saw what happened, and we are introduced to them with a little back story of who they are and why they happened to be in Spain at the summit. The characters range from the President's security guy, to an American who has travelled to the summit alone because of his marital problems, to a Spanish police officer. You think you know what each of them saw, but as the film unfolds the twists and turns of the story become apparent, and its clear there is a lot more to what is going on than meets the eye. ...Vantage Point (2008) I seemed to have been watching mostly children?s films lately, so it made a nice change to settle down and watch something grown up for a change. Being short of time, I decided to watch it over two nights, but in the end I really got into it and stayed up into the early hours to finish it. The film is quite short and only lasts for 90 minutes. Plot The plot is quite simple; it centres on the shooting of the American President, when he is in Spain attending a summit on terrorism. On the up-side though, it does mean that I get to find out about fabulous products like this, I suppose.
