...An average film, I think that the characters are good and well thought up to go along with the cartoon series aswell. You also Normally get the movie before the cartoon. I heard that there is a secong pokemon movie coming out soon. I don't think that that one will have much effect on the puplic either like the first. The question is will the second be as good as the first or the same, a poor atempt. The makers might not even make a secong movie deciding that the first was a bad creation, and no where near as good as it was supposed to be. There were the few people who did actually like the movie and return time after time to watch it again....

Loads of new Pokemon

Advantages: Great for Pokemon fans, so many new Pokemon to see
Disadvantages: Little confusing as to what was actually going on some of the time

...The first time I went to see this movie (yes, I'll admit it, I've been twice) I had just come from work, picked up my kids and rushed straight out to the cinema. The kids were not too impressed with my snoring! The second time, I took my friends kids as well as my own and managed to stay awake. The first mini movie, Pikachu's Rescue Adventure was really cute. I think these mini movies have two objectives. 1)They keep the younger viewers enthralled, 2) They are used to show the kids as many new Pokemon as possible with as little story line as possible. I had to admit, the Bellossom were very cute. The main movie was all about Ash, a young Pokemon trainer and his friend's adventure in which they save the world. The story line was a little confusing at times and it did not surprise me to read that it was a different story line in America...

...Pokémon the First Movie had a lot of hype when it came out. Mainly because it is based around one of the most popular, if not THE most popular Childrens TV Show and Game Series available at the moment. However, this movie has to be one of the most boring and pointless movies ever made. It has no interesting storyline and is totally unrelated to the games, which i think have amazing gameplay. But I am speaking from the view of a young adult. Many young children love the show. This is because they know the characters and love all of the characteristics and idiosyncracies that the 150 (currently, there will be more) Pokémon have. So for kids, it's an excellent movie. It keeps them engaged and they love it. And the DVD is not too bad, a few extra features but nothing too amazing. But for adults, think again. Please. This movie is...

A really good movie for kids.......

Advantages: Good film to keep kids quiet..............
Disadvantages: Can annoy parents...........

...I can normally not keep my son in one place, as he is a energetic 4 yr old. Took him to see A Bugs life before, had to leave part the way through, as he could not sit still. So i was dubious about taking him to see this movie, but hoped he would sit still and watch it as he loves the Pokemon alot. To my surprise he sat there the whole time,didn't even move an inch. He seemed like he was glued to the seat, but i promise he wasn't. He was so inthralled in this movie saying who the pokemon were as he saw them. And crying when they all did when he thought Ash was dead.She jumped for joy when he saw all their crying including Pikachu, bring him back from the dead. I had to make him sit down and be quiet, as there were people behind us. He would not stop talking about it, when the film finished and that was a few weeks ago...

...I have recently seen the new pokemon movie and couldnt wait to publish the new characters to ciao.com. To be to the rules I will first give you a view of the movie! The movie kicks azz and is about ash trying to win a new competition that that has been make in Poketown......(ENOUGH OF THIS!)......The new pokemon that have been released are great they are as follows: Maktolite: This pokemon fires spikes at enimies and kills them in on with its special! Greatyora: This pokemon is named yora because that is the name of its super special move! Advantages: Loads of things to do, Lots of Multiplayer Features, Wi-Fi

...From game to game the pokemon series has continued to be the same story again and again except slightly different, but the strange thing it, the more games you play, the more engrossed you become in the game. Although there doesn't seem to be anything much new for the players that have played the old pokemon games, for people that haven't played them before though there is a lot to do and to discover. The overall theme of this game is to find and capture over 150 different types of battling monsters and then fight against other trainers until you become the champion of the region. But this is just scratching the surface, with over 150 before you complete the main story and over 450 after you complete it there is little chance that you will complete it no matter how much of your time you dedicate to it.
