In the previous episode, the team (Ash, Brock, Misty and Pikachu) and team rocket were on a luxury cruise on the S.S. Anne when the ship capsizes. Everyone but them manages to escape the sinking ship. This episode sees the group join forces with team rocket in order to escape the ship. In my opinion, it's a pretty dull episode as it contains no Pokémon battles and has little variety of Pokémon types. Overall, it's not the best episode I've ever seen. Pikachu!

Advantages: Good, classic fun; good longevity; challenging; better than Red and Blue versions
Disadvantages: Too similar to Red and Blue versions

...For a Game Boy Classic cartridge, this is not a bad little game. I have never owned this, but I have borrowed it long-term before and I can safely say it is more enjoyable than the Red and Blue versions with Pikachu following you around and an extra surf game on the beach somewhere. When compared with the later Pokémon games, it's not brilliant, but when you have played on the later versions, it has a nice back-to-basics feel with only the original 150 (151) Pokémon. When played on a colour console, it shows in colour, unlike the Red and Blue versions which show in red and blue respectively. The game starts off in Pallet Town, just like in the Red and Blue versions. Professor Oak wants you to collect a parcel for him and in return he gives you a Pokémon (Pikachu) for you to keep. Although there doesn't seem to be anything much new for the players that have played the old pokemon games, for people that haven't played them before though there is a lot to do and to discover. ...This game was reccomended to me by a friend so I went out and purchased it. I have Pokemon Yellow, Red and Blue now and am currently playing Pokemon Yellow. Pokemon Yellow is a very addictive game and I play it all the time (except while i am on here). The Pokemon series are all very good and are basically the same. To collect all the Pokemon you will need all the Pokemon games (even with all the games you will still not be able to get Mew). I would reccomend this game to almost anyone as it is very playable....

Pokemon Platinum - Platinum Quality

Advantages: Great graphics and longevity. Online capabilities are excelent. A very fun game.
Disadvantages: Battling gets monotonous after a while; Not worth getting if you have Diamond/Pearl already

...For any fan of the pokemon series, Pokemon Platinum is an amazing and brilliant game to own. This game is the third installment to the games Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and has many more features. The storyline is similar to the other two games and to every other pokemon game which is to fight through a building filled with trainers from an evil organisation. The battles here are monotonous and not very difficult to win. This aside, the game is brilliant in terms of gameplay with many pokemon to catch and a lot of legendary pokemon to keep you busy trying to get them. Even after the game is beaten there is a lot to do, train pokemon, catch them all, battle with friends, it could never end. The graphics of this game are stunning. The Nintendo DS' 3D capabilities are really put to good use everywhere in the game and for a handheld game...
