Advantages: Survived my extreme tests lol
Disadvantages: The price and the game lasts too long

...Ahh the classic remake =) of pokemon Red and Blue. They were the first original hand held pokemon games and I enjoyed playing them very much to an extent where I would fall asleep in the classroom after staying up all night and get in trouble lol Pokemon was the 'in' thing back in the day. Pokemon Fire Red is a re-make of pokemon Red, with many imporvements including updated graphics, pokemon from the Johto and Hoenn regions to capture, The wireless communicator (Mine came in the box as it was a first release. It should be noted that most Pokemon Fire Red releases today don't include the wireless communicator). Pokemon Goes Old School.

Advantages: Great remake, fun gameplay, over 250 different Pokemon, addictive
Disadvantages: Never going to catch 'em all.

Advantages: Loads of things to do, Lots of Multiplayer Features, Wi-Fi

Diamond, the best Pokemon game yet?

Advantages: Hours of playability
Disadvantages: A lot of the the storylines have been done before

...stream of zubats and magikarps at times which is quite boring! There are only 150 pokemon which you will see up until you have defeated the Elite Four. Once you have seen all of these and defeated the Elite Four, over 400 different pokemon will become available! Previously, I have played other Pokemon games. The ones I've played are Red, Blue and Silver. Although there is a lot more depth to Diamond, I actually prefer the earlier games in some ways, in terms of the storylines and the range of pokemon you are able to capture from the start. You are able to build a better 'squad' right from the beginning whereas in this game it seems to take time. A lot of the storylines seem reused in this game, although you can't really change the format of the game a lot as it wouldn't really be Pokemon then. There is a lot of new stuff in the Diamond...

...For any fan of the pokemon series, Pokemon Platinum is an amazing and brilliant game to own. This game is the third installment to the games Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and has many more features. The storyline is similar to the other two games and to every other pokemon game which is to fight through a building filled with trainers from an evil organisation. The battles here are monotonous and not very difficult to win. This aside, the game is brilliant in terms of gameplay with many pokemon to catch and a lot of legendary pokemon to keep you busy trying to get them.
