GOOD POLAROID PICTURES - BUT WHERE'S THE CAMERA?

I must admit that I had never, up to that point, been aware that Polaroid manufactured televisions, and to this day, I have still not found the slot underneath where the photo comes out! ***Setting Up*** = Before setting the television up, we had to contemplate getting it out of the car. This is a big baby; a VERY BIG baby! However, once we had managed to manoeuvre it into the house and remove all the packaging, setting it up was extremely easy. Firstly, all the obvious procedures need to be carried out such as attaching the power cord, aerial, scart leads where appropriate, satellite cables etc. to the set. Before going any further, remember to plug it in! In order to set it up completely, you need to remember to put the two AAA batteries into the remote control...

A poor poor offering from Polaroid

  Polaroid PDC 3035.......My First Digi Experience!

Advantages: A good first camera, good sound quality, average photo quality.
Disadvantages: Flash isn't great, not great for darker photos, colours not true.

I received this camera as a present from my then partner for my Christmas all the way back in 2003. I know that he paid around £100 for it, and this was a reasonable price back then. He bought mine from the now extinct Index catalogue store, but on doing some research I've found it difficult to see any brand new cameras for sale in UK, There are however still a few for sale on Amazon and Ebay, but bear in mind these will be second hand usually. The cheapest I've seen is on Amazon second hand for £25.Which is not bad if it is in good condition...

Instant Photos WOW

Advantages: Quick photos,fun to use

...I received this as a present a number of years ago as digital cameras were not available yet. At the time they seemed like a good idea and the thought of having an instant picture taken and seeing how it turned out was very exciting indeeed. Ok the size was an issue and replacement films cost like £5 but the overall concept was straightfoward and fun. For each roll of film, you only get 10 pictures and each one that is developed is quite small and the quality isn't exactly great by today's standards but it was certainly a good bit of fun at the time. Portability was certainly an issue as this is heavy and can't be easily stored or carried around-especially since it is an awkward shape and bulky. In terms of features,there were virtually none. polaroid 600 how fun!?

Advantages: the photos are of a good size and quailty and are instant!
Disadvantages: you cant take very close up photos, and you do look kind of silly holding it!

...i think that polaroid cameras are really fun to use, okay, they may be huge and you may look slightly strange pulling it out of you bag to snap a pic, but its so much fun taking them that you just dont care. -hey they aren't big they are just retro!!- i recently took my polaroid camera with me on holiday with all my friends and we had such a fun time taking photos as you can use the camera almost any where!Its really great at partys aswel because you can take embarrasing pictures of people and pin them up for every one to see! I was really suprised at the good quality of the pictures produced and it is so easy to use, that almost anyone can snap a pic! The films may be slightly expensive but to take on holiday it is ideal especially abroud as you dont need to wait weeks for the developing and you get the photos instantly to share...

...The Polaroid FLU-3232 is a fantastic purchase. I was looking for a top quality HD 32" flat screen television for around £300 and I stumbled across this. In my opinion, it is a fantastic buy. As I mainly use my televisions for gaming I wanted a good quality television to astound my friends. And this is great for doing so. Advantages: Big and chunky(good for children) and instant pictures

...The polaroid P camera, I thought was pretty fun, although it was a bit big and chunky, this could be an advantage, say if you were buying it for a child. I liked the fact that it gives instant pictures. The main problem with this camera is not the price of the actual camera. The price is fairly resonable, but the price of the film however is not. The film can cost up £12 for 10 photos, working out at £1.20 a photo. You know those pictures you take where the person moves, blinks or doesn't smile?? It's all very well having the odd one of these on a normal camera, but on a polaroid you would be losing a lot of money!...

Instant Postage Stamps !!

...We go on holiday as a family a lot but My son does like taking photos....hence a lot of wasted film...you know the kind of thing...out of focus , fuzzy, too close e.t.c so I decided to buy a cheap camera for him for Christmas so that he could take his own photos ! This camera retails at £17.99 and includes 2 AAA batteries,and is one of the cheaper instant cameras available, it has a built in flash and comes with a free 12 exposure film and has very basic settings and simple instructions even my 9yr old could follow. This smart looking camera is small, compact and very light and it comes with it's own wrist strap so is portable for the kids. We bought ours from Argos. The special film developes as a sticker, so you just peel it off when it's ready and you can stick it anywhere you like ! Unfortunately the photos are only a fraction...
