...Remember those Polaroid cameras? I do and they make me very nostalgic. The world is going digital in ever sphere of life. But the name Polaroid is synonymous with instant photo prints and it is justice that Polaroid has come with portable printer for getting instant for print from your mobile. It is no doubt a very innovative little gadget which lot of will love to own because has come with a solution of problem which every body wanted. Critics might say ?Oh come on that is not a big deal?. why a printer specially for cellophane pictures? I will get my commuter Bluetooth to pair with the one in mobile or even use data cable to get those pictures in my computer and print! What?s the problem? Review of Polaroid PoGo

Polaroid PoGo - instant photography for the 21st Century?

Advantages: portable, good print quality, works well with most modern phones/cameras
Disadvantages: Zink paper hard to find on High Street, sticky-backed paper has poor adhesion on some surfaces

...- especially in areas like kitchens and bathrooms where moisture is prevalent or there are extremes of temperature. So, if you're the sort of person who likes putting stickers all over the place (me) you might be disappointed with the 'gripability' of these ones. Yet, PoGo is generally a cool product. I would have awarded it five stars if the prints stuck better and the paper was more widely available. Hopefully both these situations will resolve. I should further add that, in my view, since it seems that Polaroid will make most profit from paper sales, the price you pay for PoGo itself has to reflect this. Perhaps if you think of POGO/ZINK in the same terms as RAZORS/BLADES & PRINTERS/CARTRIDGES you'll be a contented customer. Otherwise... Recommended!...

Review of Polaroid PoGo

Great fun.

Advantages: Easy to use, instant pictures, no batteries required.
Disadvantages: Expensive films.

...My 6 year old son had a Polariod One 600 camera for christmas, the camera cost £24.99 including a film. The camera itself looks funky and it is quite compact for a instant camera, and includes a flash. There is no batteries needed as the film powers the camera, the films are quite expensive at about £9.00 each and only holding 10 pictures. The films are simple to load, then its just aim and click to take the picture, instantly the picture comes out of the front of the camera, blank at first but within a minute or two the picture develops. The camera makes quite a noise when it churns out the photograph.The camera takes colour pictures, but we've found the colours to be abit pale. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do abit of photography for fun, or for children. The picture quality of this camera is nowhere near...

GOOD POLAROID PICTURES - BUT WHERE'S THE CAMERA?

Advantages: Good clear picture; very large screen; easy to use
Disadvantages: Problems with a faulty screen

I must admit that I had never, up to that point, been aware that Polaroid manufactured televisions, and to this day, I have still not found the slot underneath where the photo comes out! ***Setting Up*** = Before setting the television up, we had to contemplate getting it out of the car. This is a big baby; a VERY BIG baby! However, once we had managed to manoeuvre it into the house and remove all the packaging, setting it up was extremely easy. Firstly, all the obvious procedures need to be carried out such as attaching the power cord, aerial, scart leads where appropriate, satellite cables etc. to the set. Before going any further, remember to plug it in! In order to set it up completely, you need to remember to put the two AAA batteries into the remote control...

A poor poor offering from Polaroid

Advantages: Easy snaps
Disadvantages: Poor images, poor battery life, poor screen size

So Im going to turn the clocks back to 4 years ago to mention the cheap and not so cheerful offering from Polaroid. The PDC 4350. REASONS I PURCHASED I bought the camera (or rather my mum did) because I needed a camera that could do the following: Store images on SD cards to fit in the card reader in my laptop at the time. Have at least 4 Megapixels (as anything less looked very grainy) An optical zoom lense. A colour preview screen.   Polaroid PDC 3035.......My First Digi Experience!

Advantages: A good first camera, good sound quality, average photo quality.
Disadvantages: Flash isn't great, not great for darker photos, colours not true.

A Good Buy

Advantages: good quality photos, simple use, bright flash
Disadvantages: bulky shape

...When I decided to buy a polaroid camera I found that wasnt a huge ammount of choice and that really the only option i had was to buy the Polaroid one 600. I was hesitant as it was quite expensive but i am pleased with my purchase. The camera is large and this often proves difficult when taking photos or when carrying it in your bag as you cant just slip it in your pocket or hang it from your wrist. However the quality of the photos is good. They always come out clear and the flash is fantastic on this camera. The only annoying thing about the photos is that theyre often slighty smudged at the bottom of the photo from where the polaroid is ejected from the camera. Yet this is confined to the bottom of the photo and doesnt interefere with the image too much. Once youve read the instructions its easy to load the film and remove empty...

Printing on the move

Advantages: Small and portable, fun (but the novelty soon wears off), cheap to buy, needs no ink

My family history..... in a flash!

Advantages: Single use and cheap.
Disadvantages: Still lose the damn thing occasionally!

..., you can use it for shopping, clothes, electrical's and yes, you've guessed it, cameras and developing. On this bombshell I decided it would be wiser to purchase my single use cameras from the afore mentioned store, this is how I came across these. The store sells very few single use cameras, and the ones they do are not particularly cheap, the "own" brand costs exactly 10p less than the Polaroid one, hence the review on that camera! The camera's come in there own cardboard pouch, with the packaging markings replicating the markings on the camera itself. When removed from the cardboard sleeve, the camera is a navy blue colour with a fetching "montage" of pictures on the front, obviously to symbolise the pictures you will be taking with it! This is a simple generic camera with the usual things, ie there is the view hole...

Polaroid... As good as the cameras

Advantages: Great crisp picture; easy set up and go

...television is probably the best quality one you can get for the price that it is; £299. ** WARNING ** I have had some recent problems with this television. After using it for a decent amount of time, the television for no reason at all makes large popping noises randomly. They are infrequent and don't happen often, but is enough to make you jump and annoy you. As well as this, I experienced yesterday, my television decided to cut all sound and play a length buzz to compensate with picture still fine. turning the televsion on and off solved the problem, but it still baffled me. I will try and talk to Polaroid about this issue but beware, this may happen to you....
