Diamond review  Polaroid PDC 3035.......My First Digi Experience!

Advantages: A good first camera, good sound quality, average photo quality.
Disadvantages: Flash isn't great, not great for darker photos, colours not true.

...₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ Polaroid PDC 3035 ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ This camera was my very first digital camera, and I was more than impressed with it??..at first. I received this camera as a present from my then partner for my Christmas all the way back in 2003. I know that he paid around £100 for it, and this was a reasonable price back then. He bought mine from the now extinct Index catalogue store, but on doing some research I've found it difficult to see any brand new cameras for sale in UK, There are however still a few for sale on Amazon and Ebay, but bear in mind these will be second hand usually. The cheapest I've seen is on Amazon second hand for £25.Which is not bad if it is in good condition...

Happy Snappin'! - Polaroid PDC 5055

Advantages: Extremely easy to use & really good value for money.
Disadvantages: None so far!!

...Now, I am a digital camera virgin, so please forgive my simple terms, but they may be of benefit to other new digital users! I have just got this camera about four hours ago, so this review may be added to quite a bit over time. It cost me £89.99, from Argos. Features: 5.3 Mega Pixel 1.5" colour TFT-LCD display 32MB Internal Flash Memory 4X Digital Zoom SD Memory-Card Compatible Auto-Flash with Red-Eye Reduction As I mentioned, I have never used a digital camera without supervision before, now, I am only 22, and I have a City & Guilds in Computing and Desk Top Publishing, but have you seen some of these cameras, with like, 85 buttons, and 5 different menu screens! This camera is a pleasure to use, and oh so easy, and it only has 11 buttons! Included in the box: PDC 5055 Digital Camera CD-Rom Software 2AA Batteries...

Polaroid PDC 3035

Advantages: Really light, fairly good image quality.
Disadvantages: Not so good for shooting indoors, and quite a big camera.

...This is the Polaroid PDC 3035 digital camera, its a basic point and shoot digital camera with a built in flash and a 3.2 mega pixel image resolution. Also has video recording with sound and 1.5 inch LCD screen on the back and has a SM memory card slot, also with a USB cable to plug it up to your PC and is powered by 4 x AA batteries. This camera has quite a fair image quality when shooting outside but shooting indoors, the image comes out sometimes very dark or completely black. The other thing that i didnt like about this camera is that it is quite a big camera but very light. Even though this camera has its bad points I have to say that I took alot of good pictures with it and had alot of fun while doing it....

A poor poor offering from Polaroid

Advantages: Easy snaps
Disadvantages: Poor images, poor battery life, poor screen size

...I know Digital cameras have moved on quite a bit and to say I have had a few might be an understatement but as well as telling you about the good, I also feel I should tell you about the bad. So Im going to turn the clocks back to 4 years ago to mention the cheap and not so cheerful offering from Polaroid. The PDC 4350. REASONS I PURCHASED I bought the camera (or rather my mum did) because I needed a camera that could do the following: Store images on SD cards to fit in the card reader in my laptop at the time. Have at least 4 Megapixels (as anything less looked very grainy) An optical zoom lense. A colour preview screen. So after scouring the various high street shops and other outlets, I found Argos offering this camera at nearly half price. £169.99 to £89.99 With this bargain in mind and seeing that it met my minimum...

Polaroid PDC 3030 Digital Camera

Advantages: Cheap, Good specifications
Disadvantages: Not Readily Available

...I was looking for a simple, cheap digital camera for both home and business use. I'm self employed and on occasion I need to take a client's photograph to insert in a document. After much deliberating, enter the Polaroid PDC 3030 digital camera. How Much And From Where? ++++++++++++++++++++++ I bought the camera, 64 MB smart card and a leather carrying case for £99.97 from Argos where the camera alone is £79.99. All in all this deal saved me £20. I searched the internet today and couldn't find this model at any other suppliers. So What Did I Get For My Money? +++++++++++++++++++++++++ The whole package was delivered as part of a big order I'd placed, and the camera, case and smart card came packaged as one item. It was all sealed in a tamper proof, grey polythene bag. When opened the three items were packaged by...

Polaroid PDC 2070

Advantages: cheap, small, good photos for web
Disadvantages: battery life, hard to use,

...The biggest thing I do not like about this camera is, battery's. As they are four aaa & do not seem to last too long, even if not takken photo's, they do not last too long. Then it turn off quite a lot, more so when battery's are low, which is one of the reason, when I got my next camera, I did not get one with disposable battery's. Photo's, are quite good, just a pain to use & I find it very hard to use. The camera can be used with a Windows computer, as a web cam, with power via USB cable, this is one time, it will not turn off by itself. IMHO, it better to spend more money for something better & ignore this camera, look for a camera with a rechargeable battery pack. As much better cameras are much cheaper now, I can not see any reason to get this, unless you like something with the Polaroid name....

PDC 3035 is a great buy

Advantages: Easy to use, lightweight, nice appearance, value for money
Disadvantages: LCD screen could be bigger

...I have owned a Polaroid PDC 3035 digital camera for about 4 months now and am totally impressed. Firstly, I think that it the best priced camera for it's resolution (at 3.2 million pixels). Versitility of the product is excellent and using peripherals like smart media cards, usb connections etc. are relatively easy. The built-in software allows you to customise your pictures before you take them and the support software (for PC) allows you to do almost anything with your photos once you've uploaded them to the PC. After seeing other makes on the market, I am convinced that the PDC 3035 offers the best value for money for it's specifications - true, honest value at a good price. I would happily recommend this camera to anyone that wants a good priced camera with more that matching value. At times, taking pictures indoors can...

Digital Camera - Polaroid PDC 3030

Advantages: small and compact, good quality pictures
Disadvantages: bleeping

...*Found you!* I had been looking for a good digital camera for ages, and then i saw the polaroid pdc 3030. It was cheap, small and good quality, so i decided to buy it from argos. Argos was doing a great deal: The camera, a small pouch for the camera, and a 64mb memory card for just under £100. So overall it saved me quite alot. *When it arrived!* I opened the box it had came in, and looked to see that it come with 4 AAA batteries, a pad of instructions, a software cd, a wrist strap and a USB cable. I then followed the instructions, and attached the wrist strap to the camera, and installed the software on my computer (windoes 98). The USB socket was covered by some rubber, that protected it. Near the microphone on the camera, there is a small socket. When you open it up, there is a small picture that shows which way round to...

Review of Polaroid PDC 3030 Digital Camera

Polaroid Schmolaroid

Advantages: Good picture quality for beginners in digital photography
Disadvantages: When in zoom picture quality is not great. Better cameras available

...The Polaroid PDC 2070 is a fantastic bargain for anybody who is looking to go digital. For a 2.1 million pixel camera the quality is simply outstanding. It is not just any old digital camera either it has the ability to record video clips and also sound files allowing a very diverse range of digital media to be captured. Plug it into your computer and download the pictures in fantastic quality. The only downsides to this camera in my opinion are that when you zoom in 3x the picture quality is significantly reduced. Also with video clips the quality is not fantastic as you are unable to zoom. The size of this camera is perfect as it fits in a pocket but won’t get lost. It is very compact in terms of where everything goes. The memory card slides in the side the batteries in the bottom and the camera in your hand. Perfect...

Polaroid piccies

Advantages: cheap and easy to use
Disadvantages: not for the professional photographer

...At a wedding party earlier this year I was very impressed when a friend took a picture of me using her new digital camera. Not impressed because the picture of me looked nice, but impressed because my friend is a dizzy blonde and not very technically minded to say the least. Well of course I had to keep up with the jones's and if she can use one then so could I. Out came the catalogues (and my husbands wallet) and off I marched to Argos to purchase the Polaroid PDC2070. Very nice indeed, 120 pounds which included a leather wallet, picture software, USB leads and a 64mb memory card. Now being a typical women I couldnt get the camera out of the box quick enough to have a play with my new toy taking pictures of the dog, my husband, the house etc etc. But then I realised I could zoom in 3 times and so the pictures became more...
