IT'S TIME TO DYE Schwarzkopf Poly Color

Advantages: Far less wastage than other dyes and cheaper
Disadvantages: Might be in danger of becoming extinct

...The reason I bought this product was to stop the wastage problem I was having with other dyes, they were costing from about £4 to £7 and they contained an unnecessary large amount of dye mixture, much of which I had to throw out every time I dyed my hair (every 3 weeks). You need a lot if you have quite long hair or if it is the first time you are using the dye, but otherwise a much smaller amount will suffice. I discovered Schwarzkopf Poly Color Tint, must be about 2 years ago now. It only costs £1.99 and it contains just enough mixture for shortish hair or repeated applications, there is no wastage or an absolute minimum and you are not paying for something that you don?t need. It does just as good a job on my hair as the other dyes ? if not better, the only thing is you don?t get those little extras like a sachet of conditioner...

OOH OH JAM ROLY POLY BIG TUM FULL UP RA RA RA

Advantages: ABSOLUTALY LOADS LOL ITS SCRUMMY
Disadvantages: NONE ZILCH

PolyPad

Advantages: Great to cushion back - fits any saddle
Disadvantages: Can be a little warm in hot weather

...I bought a PolyPad after my pony had had a few problems with her back. Her old saddle used to rub a little leaving bare patches. The PolyPads come in 2 thicknesses and 2 shapes and are available in most equestrian outlets. I find them a muct for general riding and hacking. My pony no longer has bare patrches on her back and has not complained of a sore back since using the polypad. Polypads are easy to clean (I just shove mine in the washing machine) and mine seems to have lasted forever! I have had one of them for 3 years and it came up like new recently when I washed it! They are available in various different colours. I have a couple - one is navy with red binding and the other is navy with gold binding. The only slight negative aspect, is that in summer I find my pony sweats up a fair bit - I tend to use a lighter numnah...

Poly is a cracker of a colour

Advantages: Good colour, Amazing price
Disadvantages: Not a huge shade range, some shades will wash out.

...I used this all last year when I went through my raven hair stage. I have black hair naturally but I wanted to deepen it somewhat. We thought it will be better and cheaper to buy a second hand toys then buy it new ones and spend a lot - because they don't play with them for a long time. And there was the very funny looking penguin as we find out a "roly poly penguin" The toy is obviously in shape of the penguin with black head and white circles round the black eyes and orange beak. No Fuss, No Mess, Just Colour

Advantages: Quick and simple
Disadvantages: No major drawbacks

...a quick visit to the hairdressers afterwards. The colour was on my hair for no longer than the ten minutes and it took hold like a fever, the end result was a dense dark and unflattering colour that I could do little about. Luckily the stylist was able to cut and layer my hair, this lifted the matt colour and softened it to an extent but I don't want to make the same mistake again! I had a browse around our local Superdrug and ended up buying a Schwarzkopf Poly colour tint, they were all on offer at £1.99p. I wasn't too worried about applying it either, knowing that it washes out is a big comfort. My beauty routine is a bit slap dash to say the least and I always seem to pick ridiculous times to try anything new. Advantages: Easy to use and wash.
Disadvantages: None.

...and saddle. That is why poly pad offer different thicknesses to suit the horse and the saddle. I would certainly recommend polypads. I will be replacing mine as I noticed the other day that they are both starting to get rub marks by the girth but they are years old. There is still plenty of wear left. I will definately buy new ones. Mine are still fine for hacking but not smart enough for shows. They have been excellent value, they are both 10 years old. They are around £20. I will not buy another type of numnah as polypads have been the best in my opinion for all round durability, fit and value for money. Poly pad also sell other products. They sell roller pads which are a smaller version of the polypad. I had one but it used to slip a bit so I tend to use the full sized polypad. They also sell travel boots and exercise sheets...
