Fish Mate 4000 Pond Pump

...As my pump was getting old and was really too small for the pond, I decided to buy a new one. Having already installed a Fish Mate UV+Bio Filter a year ago, which I have been very pleased with, I opted to purchase a pump of the same type. I chose the 4000 which has a maximum flow of 835 gallons an hour, has an anti-clog filter design, has superior wear resistance and reported to have low running costs. It also has a fountain set with four options. As soon as I received the pump I set to to install it. It was very easy to do, but I did make the mistake of not checking the size of hose required when I purchased it and discovered that mine was too small. I was cross with myself as I wanted to get it set up that day, so I would advise anyone buying this particular model that they make sure they have a 1" or 1.1/4" bore...

So, I decided to try this one out because I needed moisturizer, and it was "there". PRODUCT AND PACKAGING The cream comes in a tub with a screw on/off lid, which I like as I can get to the last bits of cream. The cream itself is a white, lightly perfumed cream which is not especially thick, and which is absorbed easily by the skin. It appears to be non greasy; I say this because I am not left with a layer of cream on my face, but rather, the cream rub easily into my skin without a trace. A real plus is that the cream is SPF6 and includes UVA and UVB filters, so it does provide some sun protection, although I wouldn't advocate using it...

easy to use breast pump

...I made sure that when I had my first baby I got a good breast pump so that I could not only enjoy breastfeeding my litle one, I could also ahv some time off while someone else fed my son but he still had breastmilk. This pump is a nice size and doesnt feel uncomfortable and you can adjust the strength. I found in the morning I was able to express more and I didnt use the strength of the pump to get some milk The importance of pumping while feeding is that it tricks your body into believing you are feeding baby and you therefore produce more milk. Pump, pump, pump - but no milk!

Advantages: Small and easy to handle
Disadvantages: Breast cup not big enough, noisy and the suction was very weak, expensive

...I'm sure if you have a smaller breast then this might be a good pump for you, but having my breasts swell to a 42J cup this did nothing for me at all. I found the breast cup piece did not sit well at all and the suction was terrible. It didn't hug the breast as well as a hand held version nor did it pump quick enough to really get a good flow of milk going. It also makes quiet a loud noise when pumping so you have to do it in a room where your baby isn't! It is small and compact, so ideal for travelling but it means that you cannot get much milk in the bottle as it's so small so you have to empty it on a regular basis (that's if you get that far!) It is quiet expensive too, I paid over £50 for this even though a £10 hand held from tescos did the job much better!!! Overall it was easy to handle but it just didn't have enough...
