Coolest Pool

Advantages: Great graphics and gameplay, Internet rooms for online gaming

...II wouldn't classify myself as a game freak, but I do occasionally like to play online games. One of which is Cool Pool. This game is published by Sierra and can without doubt boast to be the best Pool game. There are many game variations available through the menu system and most are playable online too. Installation is very easy once the file is downloaded ( see later ). On initial boot up this game has a rather catchy tile page. The large and colourful Sierra logo is quickly followed by a little furry dude saying Now this is fun. And indeed it is. Advantages: A lovely place for a short family break
Disadvantages: Our caravan was a long way from reception

...were a television and DVD player, and a pretty good kitchen area with oven, fridge, microwave and ample storage for groceries. All mugs, glasses, cutlery etc were included in the deal. The shower room/toilet was adequate and clean, and whilst the rooms were ?snug? there was sufficient storage for a long weekend. Pool hits the Nintendo DS - Actua Pool

...This review is for the Nintendo DS game, Actua Pool, developed by Zoo Digital Publishing and published by Atari. As the title suggests, Actual Pool is a product based on the sport of the same name, giving you the opportunity as they say to be "the King of the Cue". Although you can play one-off matches, the best way to start this game is by chosing a character to play from (although these all appear to be the same with no obvious difference in their attributes) and then by working through the championships. In each of the championships you play just one frame in each match, and there are only a few matches in each tournament. As you win each of the tournaments you obtain prize money, which you can then use to enter other tournaments. However, this is a rather disappointing feature, as you may as well just remove this prize money...

Poole's Cavern, Buxton, Derbyshire

...Poole's Cavern is situated just under a mile outside of the Derbyshire town of Buxton, on the fringe of the Peak District National Park. During a recent visit to the town I actually stumbled upon this place quite by accident, and since the weather was abysmal for trudging around I decided to pay this place a visit. It is well sign-posted from the town centre so we decided to follow the brown tourist signs that led us out of the town centre, past the School and through a rather desirable residential District of this picturesque town. I would describe Poole's Cavern as one of those little Gems of a place I occasionally find when I wander off the beaten track. The only difference here is that this place is no hidden secret, yet despite my many visits to Buxton this is the first time that I was aware that the place existed...

Home Leisure Quick up pools.

Advantages: Hours of fun for the whole family.
Disadvantages: Takes at least 9 hours to fill.

...We had had enough of the kid's fighting over the space they had in the paddling pool and the really hot weather were it got to a stage it had to go as we were so fed up having to empty it every 30 minutes with floating bugs and grass....we had to get a new smartier one... We wanted a swimming pool that the whole family could enjoy and have fun too, and all have room to move... now we are a family of five and are the average family, from one of use being on the slim side, and the other on the larger size a bit like laurel and hardie...... We were so fed up with all the bits floating in our old paddling pool from bits of grass to drowning bugs. You should all know what young kids are like from jumping in, and out of the paddling pool. and the kids were always wanting it to be emptied and refilled. So we thought that it would be alot...

Inflatable Fun Pool

...When we bought our new house one of the specifications was a large garden and a large garden was what we got. We decided that now we had a large garden we needed a large Paddling pool to go in it on sunny days. Of course most people would get one which was easy to blow up and take down and wouldn't be a hassle to empty. Well not us. We spotted this massive red and yellow one which came with a palm tree that sprayed water if you have the right connections, has a small slide, had a basketball hoop and came with balls. There was also a small square part which could just be sat in. It was a bargain at £14.99. This pool is roughly 6ft by 4ft, and took up a large part of the garden. ...POOLE: Poole is located on the southcoast of England in Dorset. It is 2 miles from bournemouth but could not be more different. With its superb beaches and beautiful natural harbour, its a hidden treasure. PLACES TO GO: Sandbanks Beach: Has been awarded the blue flag (for cleanliness and met all the standards) for the last 17 years. In peak season it is ensured that sands are sifted, cleaned and raked on a regular basis, I have been there when it has been done! There is a ban on dogs between 1st May and 30th September. You can hire deckchairs, parasols etc if needed and a lifeguard is always on duty between those dates. There are several other beaches that spread between Poole and Bournemouth as well.
