...The Local Authority's tag line is "Poole, it's a beautiful place". And it really is! Poole has been my home town for the past 20 or so years and it never fails to make me happy living here :-) There is so much to say about Poole that several books have been written about the area. With that in mind, I will tell you a couple of things about Poole Quay, the heart of the town. Poole Quay is a fantastic place, lively and bustling in both the summer and winter months with great restaurants, museums and beautiful scenery. Boat trips run to surrounding areas during the summer months and I would particularly reccommend taking a trip to Brownsea Island, where the Scout movement began. Poole Pottery on the quay sells its famous pottery, although the pottery is no longer made on site. Just down the road is the Purbeck Pottery shop...

After a regimen of physiotherapy and steroids it was deemed that an operation called a subacromial decompression was arranged and took place at the orthopaedic unit of the Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester, Dorset. I was given a choice of three hospitals, in line with the government's policy of offering a choice and I feel that I made the correct decision. Poole in all its Glory

Advantages: Lovely area plenty to see
Disadvantages: Beaches can get busy

It has the most beautiful beaches Sandbanks a peninsular which stretches out to form the harbour entrance has been said to be one of the best beaches in the country with its white sands it has been awarded the blue flag for management and cleanliness for the last 20 years, It does get busy in the summer so plan well. This game is published by Sierra and can without doubt boast to be the best Pool game. There are many game variations available through the menu system and most are playable online too. ...I as really can't stand milk breakfast can be a bit of an issue with me. Just the thought of cereal going soggy in a bowl full of milk just churns my stomach. Therefore I just usually give breakfast a miss. That is until I discovered Dorset Cereals Really Nutty Muesli. Whilst cat sitting for the parents the other week, I discovered a box of the said muesli in mum's kitchen cupboard. It really caught my eye because the packaging is so different. The cereal comes in a terracotta coloured cardboard box with a design cut out on the front that resembles an ear of corn that is backed with clear plastic. On the front it states 750g of unadulterated breakfast pleasure. Through the plastic windows you can see the museli.
