...Vtech Pop Up surprise Ball Yet another one of Jack's Christmas presents up for review and this time it is the Pop up Surprise Ball from Vtech. I bought this from Argos way before Christmas and it came as part of a three toy set costing just under £20. It came with the Vtech nursery Rhyme Book and the Vtech Mobile phone. I thought this was a very reasonable price for the three toys together as I had previously seen the nursery rhyme book for sale singularly at a price of around £8 and that is pretty much the price you would pay if you went out and bought this pop up surprise call separately too. The mound of toys that Jack received at Christmas were not really all played with on the day, as there was just too many of them, I do think I went a little overboard! Samsonite Pop Up Bubble Travel Cot

Advantages: Lightweight, compact and great value for money
Disadvantages: Nothing that can not be overcome easily

...This product follows on from the Samsonite Pop-Up Travel Cot (which I have also reviewed). It is a brilliant, innovative product and was one of the first of its kind on the market. Advantages: Easy to use, packs away and no mess.
Disadvantages: Nothing other than a large are required.

I was not expecting to find inside what I did find. The front cover, hard back, shows a picture of a Space Station with smaller rockets leaving the Space Station, and there is a lot of colour and movement in the cover. Untie the silver ribbon on the side and open up the book, but make sure you have plenty of space?????you will need it, the book is 13? x 10? and so you require an area of 88? circumference. Samsonite Pop Up Travel Cot

Advantages: Extremely small, lightweight and easy to use
Disadvantages: Nothing that can not be overcome easily

...This is the first of two products in the Samsonite Travel Cot range and it leads on to the Samsonite Pop Up Bubble Travel Cot (which I have also reviewed). It is a brilliant, pioneering product and was the first of its kind on the market when I bought it while still pregnant with my first child in 2003/04. The Samsonite Pop Up Travel Cot is available in three colours - pink and blue in the standard model and stone in the deluxe model. The standard models are made of cotton and nylon, although the baby only lies on cotton, with the main outer body being made of the easily cleaned nylon while the deluxe model is all cotton except the nylon mosquito net - this does seem to make it slightly cooler but more difficult to clean any stains. I chose this travel cot over more traditional ones based purely on it's size when folded up...

Affiliate schemes, banner advertising etc. are amongst those revenue generating schemes, which most of us can deal with because they aren't too intrusive upon our own browsing experience, but pop-up ads are a different thing entirely for many. Just Stop Popping Up Will You

Advantages: Stops pop-up adverts. Freeware for the light version.
Disadvantages: Only allows one example of IE but a simple getaround is described in the op

...The other day I awoke to find that someone had decided that whilst checking their webmail on my PC, they were annoyed by the pop-up adverts that were appearing, and so they promptly installed some freeware piece of software that attempted to stop such nasty adverts. I have to say I am equally annoyed by pop-up adverts, and did try one piece of freeware a while back, which was designed to stop them, but I wasn?t too keen on it, for what reason now I?m not sure! Anyway I uninstalled it!! I don?t think I?ll uninstall Pop-Up Stopper though. It?s a small free download available at www.panicware.com. As often in these cases, the free piece of software is a ?Lite? version of a paid-for version, with more features.
