Ipod touch - The greatest mp3 players that has ever been built!!

Advantages: Not just music, but an app store full of thousands of apps, wifi, video, photo and more!
Disadvantages: It is hard to think of a disadvantage but the main one would be that it can occasionally crash.

Advantages: Stylish Design at Great Price
Disadvantages: Not the best FM radio

...This is a stylish looking multi-function mp3 player that is available at a great price compared to other mp3 players that have a 1GB storage capacity. Some people may shy away from this mp3 player as the brand name doesn't have the same kudos as the ipod shuffle or some other players but the performance offered by this player means that the lack of a brand name shouldn't prevent anyone purchasing it. The sound quality is good and the playing time of 12 hours is good in comparison to some other players. The player also offers some other good features such as FM radio and voice recorder function so this is a versatile and competent mp3 player that is good value for money and able to compete side by side with the Creative mp3 player and the Ipod shuffle....

Look into the blue light! Sandisk Sansa M240 1 GB MP3 Player

Advantages: great sound quality, plenty of functions, simple, easy to use, nice display colour!
Disadvantages: occasional 'crashes', mine won't transfer files any more :-(

...About three or possibly even four years ago I bought a Sandisk Sansa M240 1 GB mp3 player from Amazon, it was quite a bargain price, seemed pretty simple and straightforward, which was ideal for me as I had never had one before, and didn't require many bells and whistles, and it came with all the headphones, cables, and driver disks you need to begin use. Mine also came with a clear silicon case to protect it. It is light, it is small, and it works well. For a budget mp3 player I found this terrific, and the sound quality is actually pretty good too. I hooked it up to my pc with the supplied cable, and copied over a my Learn German series so I could listen to them anywhere, learning the language subliminally perhaps, and this has also worked very well. Advantages: Nice Design, Simple.
Disadvantages: MP3 so not as advanced as iPod/ Creative

...I'll start with the basics, obviously this is an mp3 player and USB Storage Device. Very useful for transferring files from computer to computer and for listening to your favourite tracks on the move. With 1 GB of storage you can definitely fit most of what you want onto this little thing. Black coloured with silver buttons and border. The display screen lights up blue as you turn it off but the light quickly turns itself off which is a bit awkward if it's dark. ...a tutorial but I never used that, being a man I just jumped straight in. The MP3 player itself can play MP3, WMA and DR9 formats and comes in a few sizes of 128MB/256MB/512MB/1GB/2GB memory . The LCD screen is quite small but uses text to display what is needed and tracks playing. On the one end you have a cap covering the usb connector that will fit standard usb ports, unfotunately the instructions do not say whether it is USB 1 or USB 2 but I put it in my USB 2 slot and it works fine(other websites say its USB 1.1). iPod Nano 8GB 4th Generation - a benchmark in small Mp3 players

Advantages: Large, bright screen, easy to use functions and great design - on top of the excellent sound!
Disadvantages: Non!

Features With the accelerometer from more expensive iPods now incorporated into the Nano, it now responds to movements as well as key strokes (flip the Nano horizontally and you can scroll through album's). Videos can now be played on the Nano which is fairly easy to do and the new games use the movement of the iPod as controls. The Genius playlist can be used on the Nano, which compiles a list of music based on an initial song selection to provide you with a playlist that suits your mood. Value For the same price I paid for my 2nd generation 4GB Nano I got my 8GB 4th generation!
