...This product, promoted as "the safe and easy way to carry cash abroad", appears perfect for young people embarking on foreign travel, and the claim is no doubt sometimes fair. The card is sold in Foreign Exchange branches of the Post Office and, after loading up initially with £250+ worth of currency (sterling, euros or US dollars) should be able to be used at Visa Electron outlets worldwide for cash, purchases and services. A further attraction is that it can, theoretically at least, be topped up with £50 at a time via the phone* or at a branch - potentially by family or friends if necessary. This was probably it's main recommendation from my point of view. Nectar Card

Advantages: Lots of retailers to collect with
Disadvantages: Online points may not equal amount of cashback available elsewhere

...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting! Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500. Points can also be collected in other stores, for example Dolland and Aitchinson also give 2 points per pound, as do Homebase. Post-It Notes!!

Advantages: convenient, stick relatively well, come in a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes
Disadvantages: quite expensive, not too good for the environment

I expect that knows what Post-It Notes are and many of them probably own some but just for anyone who might not have encountered them before; they are little squares of paper (some can be rectangular shaped and other interesting shapes are now available). These little squares (or other shaped bits) of paper come in various different colours but the most popular one is yellow as they stand out when stuck on something so they are easy to spot but you can still read what is written on them as the colour is not too dark. These coloured bits of paper come in little pads (often of 100 notes) and have a strip of sticky adhesive on the back of them so they can be stuck to pretty much anything...

Robert Post

Advantages: good tunes and really catchy
Disadvantages: only one really outstanding track

...This is a self-titled album by singer songwriter Robert Post. He comes from a small village in Norway called Langevaag and he got together with two friends, Tor and Alf, and set about to record an album. Tor does the drums and Alf plays bass for Post. Mike Hedges is the producer of the album, who has produced work for many different artists such as the Manic Street Preachers or Travis. This album looks like it could be set to be big in due time. Again, I first heard some of his music through a friend, when he downloaded one of the songs though iTunes.
