Advantages: convenient, stick relatively well, come in a wide variety of shapes, colours and sizes

I expect that knows what Post-It Notes are and many of them probably own some but just for anyone who might not have encountered them before; they are little squares of paper (some can be rectangular shaped and other interesting shapes are now available). These little squares (or other shaped bits) of paper come in various different colours but the most popular one is yellow as they stand out when stuck on something so they are easy to spot but you can still read what is written on them as the colour is not too dark. These coloured bits of paper come in little pads (often of 100 notes) and have a strip of sticky adhesive on the back of them so they can be stuck to pretty much anything...

Don't Forget It, Post It!

Advantages: Great for keeping on top of everything that you need to do, can make note making tidy and organised, can help with revision
Disadvantages: They are quite expensive in some peoples opinion and they can be over used at times

Advantages: Versatile, colourful, very very useful.
Disadvantages: Considering theyre just squares of paper with a bit of gum along the top, theyre rather expensive. plus if not used straight away the "stickiness" wears off

...Post it notes are very helpful after havin my son ive lost my memory, I forget things all the time!, then my bf brought me these and now i dont forget anything he justs sticks the brightest colour on my wall so when i see it i know i have to do it,its funny because these can cum in handy all most anywhere,theyre so compact and need so little storage u can slide then in your bag ladies where ur out on the pull? (good idea tho). I dont wanna sound sordid but i used them for writing little versus for my bf on valentines day, there just so small enough to fit a little verse on to, theyr also cheep and u can get the most shops they cum in variable different colours which i love neon colours so you choose what colour suits your personality,have fun go mad start sticking them all over the house then u will never forget things like i did...

...Post It notes were introduced by an American company called SM back in 1980. They are small pieces of paper in different shapes and sizes with an adhesive strip along one edge in order for them to be stuck, removed and restuck to most surfaces. They can also be recycled and you can also buy recycled versions too. I mainly use them at work, they are very useful for taking messages fof people and able to stick them to their computer screens instead of leaving pieces of paper lying around on desks that can easly be lost. I find them useful myself for leaving reminders for me to do things etc, in fact my colleagues often refer to my computer screen as the big sunflower in the corner with all the yellow Post It notes around it. They can also be useful if you want to photocopy a document but want to leave items out as the light...

...1200 post-its for £9.99 at your local Staples......money well spent if you ask me. These handy little things can be the difference between you getting a C Grade or a A Grade at GCSE or A Level. If it wern't for these beautys i wouldn't be sitting here now with a big grin spread wide across my face. Being a handy size of 7.6cm x 7.6cm, these can be great to be stuck around the house, on Doors, Mirrors...EVEN toasters! All other items of household itinary can be included! Being an assorment of colours (luminous colours are a great advantage as it catches the viewers eye very quickly indeed!) , you can have several subjects notes written on each post it...i.e Red for Science, Blue for Maths etc. and they can be dotted around the house for quick and easy revision. Whoever said revision was hard, well whoever it was must not have been...

...Ok now i wont bore you with all the background information on these, as im sure you would just like a review about what the product is. These are little square pieces of paper, that come in many different colours and sizes which include 5 x 3, 3 x 3, 2 x 1½, 6 x 4. They have adhesive at the top of each sheet of paper, so that you are able to stick it anywhere you want to, which is why these are called post it notes. These can be used in the office to attach to your desk or onto files to remind you of things that you need to remember to do. I dont work in an office so i will not go into this part too much as this is supposed to be about personal experience. I do use these in my mothers house, quite alot. ...3M Post it Note Pads.......... Now where would an office be without these wondrous little things? Post it notes have been around for ages and are ingeniously handy! So much so that I have taken to buying them for the house and sticking them in ever place imaginable!!!!! For example my partner leaves his dirty socks on the floor...Stick a post it note on top saying...Do I live here??? Or when I am at work for the day they are handy to stick around the place with jobs that need to be doing on them, such as on the Dishwasher...Empty me!!! I love this little yellow pads! The Simplest Things Are Often The Best!

Advantages: Great For Scribbling Down Notes To Jog The Memory.
Disadvantages: Quite Expensive For What They Are.

...They say that the simplest ideas are usually the best and often a brainwave of an idea can turn an individual into an overnight millionaire. I always remember the story of Erik Wallenberg and Ruben Rausing, the two Swedish guys who invented the Tetra Pack in the 1940's (you know the cardboard cartons that Milk and Fruit Juices come in today) and how within just a few months they were suddenly amongst the richest men in the world. Their idea worked because it was simple and provided packaging at a fraction of the cost of Glass Bottles or the Plastic packaging which was available at the time. Thinking about such simple inventions and dreaming of coming up with an idea of my own got me thinking about other inventions too, and in particular the Post It Notes which sit on my desk at work and which I use every day without ever giving them...
