...Eternal - Power of a Woman One of my favourite girl bands from old were Eternal (this is probably showing my age a bit but oh well). They were popular before The Spice Girls, Girls Aloud etc and I think one of the reasons why they were successful was because they could actually sing and had some lovely harmonies, with beautiful voices that all worked well together. They were also all very pretty as well so I'm sure this added to their success. Eternal were formed in 1992 and eventually ceased as a band around the year 2000. The group consisted of four members, Easther and Vernie Bennett who were sisters, Kelle Bryan and Louise Nurding. Paid £29.99 + £6 Trainer with Power Cords!?

Advantages: Easy to use!
Disadvantages: Video is too short

...I bought the LTT because the price I found on the internet was much lower than what is on TV, only £29.99 plus £6 shipping fee. This price includes the machine and the power cords as well. But I am not too sure if what I bought is exactly the same as the one advertised on the TV. If you are thinking to buy one from internet with the price I paid, you may want to read this review. Machine: 1. Colour I thought it will be entirely black, but it turned out to be black and blue. The two stands at the bottom are some kind of light blue. Personally it was not my favourite. But considering the price, I will live with it. 2. Set Up It is pretty easy to set up, just follow the instruction and anyone can do it. The only thing is when to start, you need to press on the pedal really hard to get it move which I was a bit worried at the time...

The Power of 3 compells you!

Advantages: Works the whole body, fun, well instructed,
Disadvantages: Only if you don't like Davina, legs section is HARD!

...In my recent quest to lose weight and get fitter I've become something of a workout DVD addict! I've now worked my way through all of Davina's output, sampled Charlie Brooks and now moving onto Nell McAndrew (only for the brave!) But Davina's are so far my favourite, with her Super Body Workout topping my list, but the Power of 3 coming a close second. The Power of 3 was Davina's first DVD and is just over an hour long, moving through 3 different sections - legs, arms, and abs. It uses interval training to get the heart rate up before performing different exercises intended to tone up the muscles and lose the flab. If you've used the Super Sculpt on Super Body you'll be familiar with interval training and for me, this is a great way to work out as I hate being too out of breath. Jukebox, released in 2008 came with a sigh of relief from fans who had been waiting 8 years for the artist to re-immerge with something else to add to the collections. I dont think they were dissapointed. As a rule I dislike cover albums but this one is just as good as her old The Covers Record (2000) and really shows off her maturity and experience in the field. I like her ode to memphis blues The Greatist but this really gives us something fresh to tackle and in terms of listenability it is much fatter and more diverse making it 10 times more playable than The Greatest. This album was recorded with her touring band The Dirty Delta Blues Band and I think this is what gives this album its live/session feel. Ok so for those...

Advantages: Rock, Roll and Revel in Cat Power's stunning vocals

...Cat Power, or more correctly: Chan Mashall, harkens from Atlanta Georgia and it doesn?t take more than the very first moments of Myra Lee to recognise that she could come from no where else other than one of the southern states of the USofA. The album sounds pretty lo-fi, not tinny or flat but it appears that it was recorded almost entirely in a rehearsal space in New York. No fancy recording studio. The effect works to the benefit of the listener. The opening track, Enough, slowly builds in volume and you feel like you could easily be in some subterranean venue, listening to some late night rock and roll.
