Canon PowerShot G10 review

Advantages: autofocus, big screen, face detection, 14,7 megapixel, image processor, image stabilisation
Disadvantages: chunky, not very stylish, not as portable as other cameras

...I recently bought one of these at an expensive price. I shall explain some features and my feedback to this item below. The 14.7-megapixel G10 replaces the PowerShot G9 at the top end of the clever compact space. It's a chunky beast of a camera, as you'll see in your pictures, but still smaller than a dSLR with comparable power and flexibity. The G-series are designed to be the back-up cameras you can keep in your pocket if you don't want to bust out the dSLR, and the G10 certainly packs a lot into its relatively compact frame. The G10 includes all the whistles, bells and accordions you'd expect: optical image stabilisation, face detection and various scene and colour modes. Canon PowerShot SX10 IS

Advantages: excellent picture quality, light weight, portable
Disadvantages: none

...I recently recieved a Canon PowerShot SX10 for my birthday, i am very pleased with the quality of this camera. The pictures that it takes are of wonderful quality and you don't have to wait on the delay like alot of those cameras out there. Ever since i recieved the camera i have started selling my pictures, and have actually been making money for pictures that i take when i'm bored simply because the quality of the pictures are so good. This camera is very sleek and stylish and fits in your hands like a camera should. It is very comfortable to use and i is also very lightweight and portable making it easy to move around with and not get tired of holding in your hands. This camera is extremely worth the money and i would definately say that if you are in the market for a new camera then this is the one for you....

Canon PowerShot A560 to capture our memorable moments

...A few days back i went to a electronics store where a couple of weeks we carried out special discounts on certain electronics products, so read a leaflet came into our possession. Obviously we were concerned only to purchase a small digital camera from being used to give my boys, so we should not purchase more than a specified amount and the car should not be complicated to use ... Upon arrival in ward specific we look around and the camera that had drawn our attention to the flyer there seemed little in its features and capabilities .... and in the end, even though we spent a little 'more than what we had established in departure, namely 159.00 euros, we chose the PowerShot A560 .... and even now I will tell you why! The camera is sold together with a wrist strap, 2 alkaline batteries, a memory card (16 mb), an interface cable IFC-400...

Canon PowerShot A550 is The real power of my dream camera

Advantages: simple, easy to use and carry,9 mode can be selected
Disadvantages: little too much on using AA battery, too much button

...-able recommended and stock about 2 - 4 pieces for 2 days in daily use, but depends on frequent use). it has LCD but if you want to use like the old way, we can change it mode to analog (LCD off and you see through the lens above the LCD). when I buy it, I got a manual, Driver CD, cable connection, 1 GB MMC, a pair AA recharge-able batteries with the recharge tool, AV cable (to connect it with the TV). Oh ya, if you want to connect your Canon PowerShot A550 with the cable, you can do it with the 'jack' covered by rubber top in the left side of the canon (when LCD is facing to you). Open it from bottom to up side gently. Just remind you of the battery use, do not forget to recharge it or bring a spare, you do not want to lost a moment to capture. ^^...

Power those shots

Advantages: Fast with a great night shot macro
Disadvantages: verry little.

...I had one of these power shot A95 lent to me a few weeks ago as we were going to a wedding, the first thing I did was think ok this won't give me a good shot (ok I was wrong), then I thought there were too many functions (actually I was wrong on that as well. The first thing you think about this camera is it's going to be a bit hard to use, it's not far from it click point and press 1/2 way in the auto focus kicks in press a bit more and the shots yours. I like the fast shot feature where you can take 5 to 6 shots at a time in succession and they all came out great. OK this isn't a professional camera but it takes shots as good as some cheap end SLR's. One of the features on the camera is the swivel LCD screen gone have the days where you scratch the screen and render the LCD dead. The night sky picture taking is perfect...

I've got the power

...Canon PowerShot A550 I have had my digital camera for about three months now, it was bought as a present for me and costs around £100 - £80 depending on where you buy it, on Amazon you can pay £74 now, so the prices vary. Compared to other digital camera prices this is quite reasonable as cameras are getting more popular the prices are coming down all the time. The camera is a silver colour and has a thicker end on the right for easy grip. Although it is a light weight camera it isn?t small enough to fit in your pocket, but comes with a small leather camera case. It takes two AA batteries for the flash and these will take about 140 shots It also comes with a 16mb memory card and is a 7.1 mega pixel which is quite good for taking clear pictures. The pictures it takes are clear and sharp, the colours look natural and the inside...

...I have found this camera to be very user friendly with excellent photo quality. It s not very heavy on battery power and after also purchasing a 512mg card has a lot of storage space, about 500 photos. The design is very ergonomic and sturdy and has survived being dropped a couple of times. It has a added hole on the bottom to use a tripod for those more steadier photographs. Th screen on the back is not as large as some of the cameras on he market today, but has a clear colourful display. Various setings make it easy for anyone to use the camera in all kinds of different light. I would reccomend this camera to any users from beginners to expert users. Good buy good quality....

Canon PowerShot A460 - An A1 budget camera

Advantages: low price, well built, built in flash, great pictures, manual and LCD viewfinder
Disadvantages: batteries don't last that long

...of the pictures that will be produced. The flash is also quite strong but one hell of a drain on the batteries which even in bright light and without flash usage drain very quickly. I would suggest 2 sets of rechargeable batteries for use with the A460. The pictures produced by the A460 are fantastic and as good in terms of clarity and detail as any other digital camera pictures I have seen. They are easy to upload onto the computer as well thanks to the easy user interface. I have a large amount of affection now for the Canon PowerShot A460 and recommend that everyone looking for a decent digital camera without a £150+ budget gives this a serious look. Once you've had your hands on this beast, you won't want anything else....

The Canon PowerShot A75 is a great looking camera.

Advantages: Even I can use it. Really simple and easy instructions.
Disadvantages: Haven't found any.

...A couple of months ago, Len told me that his Canon PowerShot A50 digital camera was getting old. He really needed a more up to date one, with all the extra features. We headed to Best Buy, Ritz Camera, and Circuit City. All three had deals on the Canon PowerShot A75. Best Buys was $199 (104 pounds), and we would receive money back with their 'zone rewards program'. Ritz Camera would give us the same amount of money off, as a discount, and also 15 free prints. However, Circuit City offered a free battery charger and batteries, to the value of $35(18 pounds). This one we took. We wanted another Canon, as Len had a 128 mb. CompactFlash card, and this camera used the same card. The camera came with a 32 mb. As soon as we came home Len was trying out the camera. I waited until the end of November.
