...I bought Canon Power Shot A70 from US a year ago. Now I am in UK and one day suddenly found my Canon LCD is just showing some horizontal lines instead of any picture output. I was sooo disappointed with this. Tried a lot to fix it but nothing happened. Advantages: Fast with a great night shot macro
Disadvantages: verry little.

...I had one of these power shot A95 lent to me a few weeks ago as we were going to a wedding, the first thing I did was think ok this won't give me a good shot (ok I was wrong), then I thought there were too many functions (actually I was wrong on that as well. The first thing you think about this camera is it's going to be a bit hard to use, it's not far from it click point and press 1/2 way in the auto focus kicks in press a bit more and the shots yours. I like the fast shot feature where you can take 5 to 6 shots at a time in succession and they all came out great. OK this isn't a professional camera but it takes shots as good as some cheap end SLR's. One of the features on the camera is the swivel LCD screen gone have the days where you scratch the screen and render the LCD dead. The night sky picture taking is perfect... Read review

...I have found this camera to be very user friendly with excellent photo quality. It s not very heavy on battery power and after also purchasing a 512mg card has a lot of storage space, about 500 photos. The design is very ergonomic and sturdy and has survived being dropped a couple of times. It has a added hole on the bottom to use a tripod for those more steadier photographs. Th screen on the back is not as large as some of the cameras on he market today, but has a clear colourful display. Various setings make it easy for anyone to use the camera in all kinds of different light. I would reccomend this camera to any users from beginners to expert users. Good buy good quality.... It is robust and strong, and is ideal for the busy professional who needs to take quality images quickly. There are many features on this camera, macro feature and everything else you would expect from a camera of this type. However, there is something you will not find, a digital zoom. The zoom on the Canon is an optical zoom and this means that the quality of photographs is always sharp and always crisp. Many people have been severely disappointed when they have taken a new digital camera out of the box and found out that the so-called digital zoom returns sub-standard images. ...What a brilliant match, what a brilliant contribution by both players, the only downfall their could be only one winner. This was a wonderful exhibition of women’s tennis at it’s very best. The powerful hitting of Williams as opposed to the timed, perfected shots of Hingis. Each set was strongly fought out, this was as good as any match I’ve seen, it had everything shots of the highest calibre, and the pace it was played was electrifying. ...Monica Seles has had an excellent tennis career, she has been competing and often winning at the top level for many years. Monica has strength as well as excellent knowledge of the game that comes with experience. Monica's can often get a lot of power into her shots, and her serves are very fast too. Often this is shown in a rather funny way when she screams or grunts when hitting hard shots, shouting very loudly to show the effort she puts into every shot. Monica is not the fastest player you will find but her experience means she is clever so she doesn't need to have great pace. Seles has had a successful career and it not over yet. She has played some excellent games fairly recently and it would be good to see her win another major tournament before her career ends. ...OK excuse the cheesy title but i like puns! Mario Power Tennis, is the sequel to the nearly flawless Mario Tennis on the N64, this means that Nintendo had to give it some new aspects and gameplay to match the N64 game let alone surpass it. They came up with the Power Shot; by pressing either the X or Y buttons you could perform a defensive or offensive shot. This was a big mistake. The defensive shot is so effective that it ruins the game, as soon as your about to score a point after making your opponent every which way about the court all they do is press X and a shot that would've previously impossible to hit back is rifled back and the rally starts all over again. Luckily for multiplayer this can be turned off. Without the Power Shot this is every bit as good as Mario Tennis on the N64; the tournaments are enjoyable and tough gently... Read review

...Basically digital photo camera Canon PowerShot A620 is powerful toy with a lot of functions for making photos. Big advantage is 2.0" vari-angle LCD. and power supply where you can use rechargeable AA batteries or simple AA alkaline bateries from any shop if battery power is low (not like those with specifical batteries for particular camera model, when you can't replace them in case of low power and where you can't rechar them). Maniu is easy to use Camera starts quick enough. But it is a bit complicated use due to a a lot of functions, which not always works perfectly. And it is a little confusing for beginner. AUTO mode not very suitable for outside dark as well as NIGHT mode. Its really difficult to make good outdoor picture at night. Also PETS AND KIDS mode should make good pictures for moving objects, but it not allways happens... Read review

...quality shots. Downloading shots is easy via USB. Just plug in your camera to your pc and the programme starts automatically. You can view the shots on screen before downloading and delete you dont want. Downers: Like all digital cameras, using the screen on the back to shoot eats battery power, so you may want to invest in another if you are going to be away from the charger for long. The settings dial on the top of the camera is too easily moved. I have often found my camera has swithed on accidently wearing down battery power. The 16mb flash card that comes with it is way to small....especially for superfine shots on the largest setting. So budget for more cards or invest in one of the fantastic IBM microdrives There is no flash sync so you cant plug in another flash unit if you wanted to. Ups: fanastic resolution and size... ...I bought this camera as a birthday present for my wife in 2004, and have not been disappointed. One of the main features that led me to choose this is the use of AA batteries. We have bought 2 sets of NiMH, and keep the spare in the pouch we got for it. We don't miss shots from low power, which could be a concern for other cameras with built-in rechargeables. The batteries go in the grip, which is itself a plus. It allows you to hold the camera with confidence at different angles. The LCD monitor opens up and can be turned 270 degrees. That freedom of movement allows some pictures to be taken that would be simply guess-work otherwise. It you open it up and turn it right round, you can take self-protraits. You can hold the camera above your head and turn the LCD to face you, thus for example taking shots while in a crowd. But angling... Read review
