Right you 'orrible shower! . .

.... . I have just had to go check which version mine is, there is no number, it is just called the Triton Aqua Sensation. The age of mine? Well, it must be about ten years old now, so I think that qualifies as standing the test of time. Triton have a very good name in shower circles, or should that be cubicles? and these models can be fitted slightly off the wall so it can be easily tiled after it has been fitted. Mine is actually a power shower, although in "non power mode" it seems as good as any other make of shower.The thermostat seems to keep the temperature just right, you just "dial up" the temp you want, and the whole thing is easy to keep clean. I have heard that showers can be noisy, but not in this case, the only place there is any real noise is in the shower itself, and you are only in there for a matter...

Showering with Limes

Advantages: Good consistency and lather, easy to rinse off, didn't dry my skin out, smells nice, economical
Disadvantages: None for me

...Original Source makes a wide range of toiletry and bath products and state that they use essential oils in their products as opposed to synthetic fragrances. Their shower gels promise a shower experience that you 'have never experienced before'. The shower gels in the range include Lemon and Tea Tree, Lavender and Tea Tree, Mint and Tea Tree, Almond and Coconut, Dragonfruit and Capsicum, Winter (Vanilla Milk and Cocoa) and the Lime one I am reviewing. I also bought the Tea Tree and Mint one for colds but I haven't had the need to use it yet. The Original Source brand is now owned by Cussons PZ who also makes Imperial Leather products. I bought the Original Source Lime shower gel when it was on offer in my local Superdrug towards the end of last year. It cost me 99p if I remember correctly, I tend to make my purchasing choices...

ENERGISING SHOWER GEL!

Advantages: smells nice, layers and compliments the scent of the perfume
Disadvantages: none really, slihtly expensive for some

...Energise although the most prominent and identifiable ones are the Melon, Pink Pepper, Mandarin, Freesia, Cardamom and Amyris Woods. Hugo Boss Energise perfume and shower gel are described as having blends of Pink Pepper, Mandarin, Kumquat, Melon, ambrette, juniper, white freesia, cardamom, coriander, jacaranda wood, nubuck leather, suede note, black cocoa and amyris woods. If you use the shower gel before applying the perfume to your skin you will notice that this gives the fragrance more staying power; because you are applying a base for the perfume to stick to. Although I doubt that you need to layer the scent of Energise because it is a really long lasting fragrance. People who have slightly dry skin will find that the scent doesn't last long on their skin so therefore you might have to layer the scent in order to achieve better...

...although the fragrance from the shower gel does linger on the skin for a good few hours. The shower gel has a lovely spicy/musky aroma which has an ever so subtle floral undertone; although there is a slight floral undertone this doesn't give the fragrance a feminine scent, it is most definitely a masculine scent. There is a wide range of fragrance notes in Joop! Homme although the most prominent and identifiable ones are the Musk, Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli Oil, Cinnamon and Jasmine. Joop! ...Eternal - Power of a Woman One of my favourite girl bands from old were Eternal (this is probably showing my age a bit but oh well). They were popular before The Spice Girls, Girls Aloud etc and I think one of the reasons why they were successful was because they could actually sing and had some lovely harmonies, with beautiful voices that all worked well together. ...Last year on my birthday I received a lot of different shower gels ? Dave loves to find me lots of variations that I haven?t tried before. My bathroom cupboard sometimes looks like a small branch of Boots! Three of those that I received last year were the three new Radox Daily Elements ones and I have started with the one called Deeply Cleansing. These look slightly different from the usual Radox shower gels. To start with this one comes in a pale blue plastic container as opposed to the usual clear one but it is opaque so you can still see the level of the liquid inside. The 250ml container is the same in design as all the other Radox shower gels. It has a hook set into the top of the container which unclips and turns through 180 degrees so that you can hang your shower gel on the shower tap. The labeling looks different...

The subtle shower experiance.

Advantages: A good quality produt, that doesn't irritate already sore skin.
