It?s not what you?d call inspired. ?Grounded: Unaccompanied Minors? is the kind of movie that will find its home on DVD or the Christmas TV schedules because it fits the template for children?s films so neatly. Those under the age of ten may well chuckle their way through it as the stuntmen take all manner of harsh looking falls (mainly during the improvised sledge chase) and the kids get one over on the adults. But grown-ups may find themselves snoring through the cheesy dialogue, predictable shenanigans and schmaltzy ending. And if your young ?uns are prone to imitating what they see, you might want to supervise them while they watch because the many stunts don?t appear to have any negative consequences. It?s an entirely unremarkable movie in all aspects. Tell you what, if your age is in single figures, add another star....

Taking Curious Minds Under Ground

Advantages: Chock full of excellent learning. Well written and superbly illustrated.
Disadvantages: None to speak of.

...Give a little bit of credit to Steven Seagal: He has at least attempted to make a film that promotes an environmentalist message, when most continue to treat Planet Earth as a dumping ground, having no idea of the damage they're doing. Stomping Ground - Goldfinger

Advantages: Wonderful, diverse and emotive album full of catchy songs and brilliant lyrics
Disadvantages: A bit too heavy in some cases

...This has got to be one of my favourite albums of all time. It was one of my first and is still one of my favourites today. They have a very unique take on the ska punk scene which can almost be described as being overly cheesy, yet it works really well and creates some classic songs which are entirely unforgettable. Stomping Ground is Goldfinger at their best, forget Hang-Ups or Open Your Eyes, Stomping Ground is their best by far. It is true to say that there are some good songs on these other albums, but that is all and as a whole they are quite weak. The same cannot be said for Stomping Ground. Every song on the album reeks of quality and there are certainly no weak links. Once the CD is in the album bursts into life with 'I'm down' which has a very powerful lead guitar and a memorable chorus full of emotion. The lyrics are...

GROUND FORCE WITH BOOBS.

The idea of the program is that the team (Charlie Dimmock, Tommy Walsh, Will Shannahan and Kirsty King) are asked to come to the rescue of a garden that is a disaster, but it is more than that, it has to be done as a surprise for someone who has been nominated either by a member of the family or a friend. The work that they do is good work and gives people a lot of ideas for their own gardens, and the humour in the program is great. You know, even now, I get emails from friends in America who say that Charlie Dimmocks boobs are a talking point in the States !!! She works bra less a lot, but so do I, but she is natural and a very good presenter and knows what she is doing when making water features which is good.
