A Great DIGITAL Pregnancy Test!

...I started out buying just the standard Clearblue Pregnancy Test. I brought this one initially as it was cheaper than some of the others (£10 for 2 test sticks). Anyway I was 7 days late but suspected before this that I may be pregnant but wasn't too sure how long you are supposed to wait before you can do the test. When I read the box I found out I could of actually done the test on the first day my period was due, so I didn't actually need to wait this long at all. I had never taken a pregnancy test before but was very pleased to find that there were very clear instructions on the reverse of the packaging. The clear instructions were in 3 steps. ...most pregnancy tests available on the market these days do exactly the same as each other it is just that you pay a lot more for testers that tell you in words that you are pregnant or tell you that you are so many days pregnant, this in my opinion is a total waste of money when they all do the same job which is basically testing for an increase in a hormone in your urine, after all why pay £15 for a stick you are going to piddle on and throw away when you can get a very similar stick from your chemist for around £1 for a pack of two or 3 and are the exact same ones used by the nurse at your doctors surgery. After 15 tests... i got a result!

Boots pregnancy test - very quick & accurate

...These modern tests are done in exactly the same way as it would be if you'd had gone to your doctors - except now you can do it in the privacy of your own home and you don't have to wait weeks to find out the result! Perfect! I've never done a test until 11 weeks ago and I was so very nervous about doing a test for the first time. Especially as we'd planned a baby... just not this soon! The boots pregnancy test gave me an accurate result in just a few seconds. I actually took a second one just to be on the safe side. It too was positive, it couldn't be wrong! ...My hubby is a technology person, so finding a digital pregnancy test seemed perfect to appeal to him. It also felt more professional to me. We bought this test for the added accuracy. It also had the added bonus of being a renowned brand. The test can be bought in single, twin or triple packs. They work out much cheaper the more you buy. A second test is always necessary in case something goes wrong or you cannot believe your results. Each pack comes with a digital reader and test sticks (1, 2 or 3 depending on pack purchased). It also has a leaflet with easy to follow instructions. However, as anyone doing a test, being eager to see the results you skim through the leaflet. With this test don't. It may invalidate your test. The tests are fiddly. You have to put in the test strip, then wait for it to light up, then start...

A Pregnancy Test for just £2.99

...in a traditional style of packet for pregnancy tests although it's half the size. You then need to check you've got it the right way up by looking at the information leaflet, there's a thumb grip at the top which is blue and thicker than the rest of the stick and the opposite end is the dipping stick. The stick is very similar in size and material to the wee sticks they check your urine on at the GP's. You dip the stick into the wee for AT LEAST 10 seconds. After this time, you need to put the test on a flat surface. The test takes 2-3 minutes to give a result, one pink line, not positive, two pink lines, positive. If after 5 minutes you do not have a result, the test is void. ...Let me start by telling you I've never been pregnant. Now you are wondering what qualifies me to write this op? Well I've been trying to get pregnant a few months, so in that time I've used the odd pregnancy test. Oh OK, I'll be honest, I've used a LOT of tests, five minutes late and I'm testing. Now the test I choose is the ClearBlue. ~~~~ The Kit ~~~~ When you buy a test you get a wrapped up testing "stick" and some instructions. You can buy twin packs which work out cheaper than single ones. Believe me you will want to test twice if you are positive (so I'm told). If the test is negative you have one left over for next time.
