PREMIAIR GOLD - AIRTOURS. What a rip-off
Advantages: Plenty of Legroom, Comfortable Seats
Disadvantages: An Awful Lot! Please Read Review......
...A few years ago, we booked with AIRTOURS INTERNATIONAL on our first trip abroad to Mexico. We enjoyed this extremely! The only fault with the flight, was with the cramped 'cattle shed' aircraft.
So, the following year, we booked with AIRTOURS again and travelled to Dom.Republic. This time taking advantage of the flight upgrades - PREMIAIR GOLD. Costing approximately £249 each, this included wider more comfortable seats, additional legroom and a greater seat recline. All Premiar Gold passengers have a seatback television screen with a choice of 6 movie channels a further 10 channels of audio - which did cater for a wide audience of music listeners!
Computer games and free use of control pads- which usually they charge £5 to hire in order to play the games, they hooked up to the screen in front of you!
As well as benefitting from...

COOL AS A CUCUMBER
Advantages: Keeps you cool in tropical London temperatures
Disadvantages: Expensive to run
...Temperatures in London reached 31 degrees on Tuesday 8th June. Our attic flat is like a furnace and the temperature is regularly significantly higher inside than it is out. I?m no physicist but I believe that this is probably because heat rises and the roof is not protected by anything other than slate! So we?re sandwiched in the middle ? not pleasant!
We already have a standing fan unit but that seems to be permanently located in the bedroom where my husband spends most of his time! I think there?s an unfair trade there perhaps, but never mind. As a result, I was out shopping in the sweltering heat when I wandered into Woolworth where desk fan units were piled high.
I decided that a 12? unit should be adequate for my needs. The only brand available was this Prem-I-Air Model made by a company called EHS based in Manchester...

Gold star *UPDATE*
Advantages: Cheap, lots of routes
Disadvantages: Cramped in economy, sometines early arrival times
...*NOTE: MyTravel has merged with THomas Cook.*
I and friends and family have now flown with Mytravel half a dozen times to and from Canada. I have just booked my 84-year-old mother to come to the UK next June. We always book through Canadian Affair online.
The first thing to say is that the fares are incredibly low, as little as £199 or less return in economy. However, we always travel in their "Premiair Gold" cabin, because the economy seats are very cramped. Even then it is exceptionally good value. My mother is paying £452 return Toronto-Manchester in June.Upgrades can be purchased at the airport if space is available.
In Premiair Gold you get wider seats with extra legroom and free drinks (including champagne) and snacks, ice cream during the movies, and free headphones that you can take with you. On the return flight from...

Great value flying
Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: Risk of not being seated next to each other
...My partner and I booked a holiday to Cancun about three years ago. I'm not particularly tall (not daddy long legs either) but struggled to get comfortable in the "PremiAir" Cabin in the plane. The service on the plane was unbelievable.
When you pre-booked your seats (usually cost £10 pp but if you booked the holiday between specified periods this was free) you received a choice of about 10 different hot meals on the way out and 4 different meats on the way home. Every passenger had their own seat back touch-screen TV with a choice of about 9 channels (movie, comedy, and kid?s shows). You could also view a map of the flight which had facts on the speed we were travelling at, time at destination, temperature, expected time of arrival and see the flight path. Another really cool thing was the chance to view either a down view...

HEADS WILL ROLL
Advantages: IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS
Disadvantages: TAKES TOO LONG TO GET ARTICLES IN; COST - TRY TO BORROW A COPY
...Practical Family History (PFH) magazine (out monthly, was priced £2.20, but is now £3.30 but it usually comes with a free CD or book. The CD usually includes a family tree package, information on a particular war (or aspect of one) and a local directory e.g Gloucestershire). The last book I received with PFH was about tracing World War 1 ancestors so should be very useful, as I have a few of those. PFH is the sister magazine of Family Tree magazine and ideal for beginners. Family Tree magazine is more suited to slightly more experienced researchers or genealogists.
The magazine has a special feature, designed for beginners, in every issue, usually inside the front and back covers or near the letters pages, with several useful addresses and websites. As a beginner I found these addresses to be most useful, as if you purchase or borrow...
