...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

Premier Inn - Oldham Central

Advantages: Clean, good staff, nice breakfast
Disadvantages: Terrible bed

...My husband had to go to Manchester for a meeting at fairly short notice and would be staying over the night before. As I'm not working at the moment, I decided to tag along - any excuse to go shopping in Manchester for a few hours. Unfortunately, it being the 4th March, Manchester United were playing at home in the Champions League and, despite the best efforts of his company travel people, the nearest they could get at a price they were willing to pay - £58 room and £7.50 breakfast - was the Oldham Central Premier Inn (about 12 miles from the Gmex where we were planning to park). Now this hotel is literally right next to Oldham football ground and they were playing at home but we had absolutely no problem getting a room! We actually hadn't realised that the game was on, otherwise we would have pushed it a bit on the way up...

Premier Travel Inn Southwark - London

Advantages: Excellent value, location
Disadvantages: Basic hotel

...I try to arrange a couple of days break for my husband and myself, away from the children, every Easter holiday and we like to visit London and see the sites. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation in central London then Premier Travel Inn is probably your best bet. I considered three - County Hall, near the London Eye; London Bridge, north side of the bridge and Southwark. I have to admit that I didn't know where Southwark was until I looked on a map and I was surprised to find out how central to everything it was, so I chose to stay here. The Premier Travel Inn Southwark is about eight minutes walk from London Bridge Underground Station - so make sure that your luggage has wheels! I struggled but had a rest in the grounds of Southwark Cathedral at the halfway point. Doctor Who fans may remember the episode...

Premier Travel Inn, London Docklands

Advantages: Good rooms and service
Disadvantages: Quite remote

...This is a step above most of the premier travell inns I have stayed at previously. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, dealing easily with around 20 of us arriving at once in less than half an hour. The rooms are fairly standar from PTIs, which on the whole is good all round. The bathrooms are especially nice with large baths (useful for us of the larger persuation) and everything laid out nicely. The cafe/resteraunt/bar area is nice and comfortable, definately better than most of them. the availability of a pool table and awell stoked bar was a nice addition over most hotels of this type. Breakfast was well stocked and of high quality all round. The hotel itself is quite remote to look at, but is within a few minutes walk of the Excel centre (which dominates the skyline), a very nice chinese resteraunt...

PREMIER TRAVEL INN - OXFORD CENTRAL

Advantages: close to the city
Disadvantages: close to the traffic

...This particular Premier Travel Inn is situated on the Oxford Business Park. It is just off the A4142 on the junction with the B480 and it is opposite the Rover Works, 3 miles from Oxford city centre. My husband originates from Wallingford near Oxford so we travel up that way occasionally to see old friends and family. We were finding it more and more difficult to find a reasonable B&B for the night. Most of them in that area are £60 upwards for a room. BOOKING ++++++++ We booked our room online. This was very easy to do. You find the hotel that you want, then check availability. You can then choose the type of room that you want and reserve it. You only pay for the room upon arrival and it can be cancelled as close as 1pm on the day that you arrive. You can check in after 2pm and do not need to vacate until 12pm...

Did Obama spend G20 at the Beckton Premier Inn?

Advantages: Well located to travel to Docklands part of London
Disadvantages: Not the best area

..., mushroom and even some vegetarian options, which I was pleased to see. This would be a good introduction for our transatlantic guests to British cuisine, at least the lower end of it. CONCLUSION This is pretty good for short business stays and is well kept with a decent restaurant in the hotel. I can recommend this for the quality of the rooms and facilities. I'm not that taken with the area it's in, but I would say that it wasn't too noisy though, given the location of the hotel. I am not sure I can recommend it for Presidential visits, but I am sure President Obama would enjoy a decent nights sleep here. Premier Inn Caerphilly - Great Hotel

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Could be a little bit closer to city centre

.... It was first time ever, me and my girlfriend decided to spend a weekend in Premier Inn Caerphilly. We spent there a bank holiday weekend in August. Wanted to book hotel in Cardiff but unfortunately everything was fully booked because of Madonna's concert. Were not really happy because of that but decided to reserve room. Hotel Hotel is placed 7 and half miles away from Cardiff, which is not far. If you have car you can park it for free in hotels parking. If not - there is number 26 bus route every two hours going to Cardiff. The nearest bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast is not included in price of this hotel but you can order it when booking or on site. If you want to treat yourself with full breakfast it will cost you £7.50. You can have as much as you like. They offer some premium pork sausages...

We stayed at the Premier Travel Inn, Bath Road for nearly a week and didn?t fly anywhere during our stay. The hotel proved to be an ideal base for visiting the local area including: Legoland, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, and Central London. ...Thanks for reading my review, I have done a full review of the Premier Inn London Kensington below however if you are simply interested in the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel I've placed a little summary at the bottom of the page. Hope you find it useful and as usual feedback is welcome. I'll start by saying this for the Premier Inn Kensington, either it does not cash in on big events such as West End Live, or it does not know about them. Either way this became the reason for our stay over West End Live weekend 2008. At £84 for a double room per night it isn't expensive considering its proximity to the tube and to the heart of London, even for a normal weekend. Premier Inn Caerphilly - Ideal Hotel if on a budget

Advantages: Nice cheap hotel, very clean & comfortable

...I first stayed in this hotel a few years ago because it was the only hotel I could get into for the WRC, we stayed there for a weekend. We had never stayed at a Premier Inn before & we were very pleasantly surprised - the hotel is situated just off a large roundabout, (it is very easy to get to) & we found it very peaceful with no traffic noise what so ever. The hotel is not very far from Cardiff so you can either drive in or the hotel has a bus stop close by and Caerphilly has a train station with a train running to cardiff at regular intervals, due to the horrible one way system in Cardiff we chose to catch the train in, it was only £4ish return & you get off right outside the Millenium Stadium. From the outside the Hotel looked in very good condition & the inside was in just as nice condition, the reception was excellent - friendly...
