...CHELSEA LODGE HOTEL 268 FULHAM ROAD LONDON SW10 9EW 10 min walk from Fulham Broadway tube, same to Earls Court I stayed on Saturday 25 October 2008 because of its (reasonably) close proximity to Earls Court where I was attending an exhibition. There was another similar rated hotel behind the underground station but it was reported to be very noisy and I thought a 10 minute walk from hotel to destination would be refreshing, which it was. This hotel is on a busy main road on the corner of a junction, but inside the big old building you were not really aware of this. I think the hotel just had about 14 rooms in total, so not a busy place. The hotel receptionist was very pleasant and helpful and efficient. ...Our Friend who stays in Brighton booked our accomodation for our 2 day stay, Premier lodge charged £54 per night per double room. There is an underground secure car-park available for £5 per night, of which our car never left the entire stay. Located on North Street Brighton, premier lodge is central to all the nightlife, restaurants, shops and is 5 mins from the beach. Premier Lodge offer the following:- En-suite facilities Direct dial telephone television and radio 24 hour reception Wake up alarm Tea and coffee Desk areas Hairdryer. iron and ironing board, smoking/non-smoking rooms, disabled access rooms and family rooms are available. Check in time is 2pm and checkout has to be by 11am although they did allow us to keep the car in the car park till 4pm to do some shopping. Entry is via a key-card system...

Premier Lodge has recently joined forces with Travel Inn, and is now known as Premier Travel Inn. They have a saying 'Spend a Night, Not a Fortune'. Premier Lodge has now expanded to sufficient locations to make this viable - currently over 110 open and 10 or so opening soon, I believe. Premier Inn Caerphilly - Great Hotel

.... It was first time ever, me and my girlfriend decided to spend a weekend in Premier Inn Caerphilly. We spent there a bank holiday weekend in August. Wanted to book hotel in Cardiff but unfortunately everything was fully booked because of Madonna's concert. Were not really happy because of that but decided to reserve room. Hotel Hotel is placed 7 and half miles away from Cardiff, which is not far. If you have car you can park it for free in hotels parking. If not - there is number 26 bus route every two hours going to Cardiff. The nearest bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast is not included in price of this hotel but you can order it when booking or on site. If you want to treat yourself with full breakfast it will cost you £7.50. You can have as much as you like. They offer some premium pork sausages...

Advantages: Good sized rooms, available throughout the UK
Disadvantages: Variable service, you pay for the room and not the number of beds, poor heating and cooling controls in the rooms
