Travel Inn for a premier Night's Sleep

I used this paticular Travel Inn when I was going to a family party and didn't want to travel the 60 miles back home afterwards. Disadvantages: TOO close to the motorway!

...We have recently travelled up to Scotland from Devon and on the way home needed to break up the 12 hour journey. We stopped at Premier Travel Inn - Preston East. This Travel Inn is literally right beside the southbound motorway near junction 31a northbound. We were travelling Southbound, so had to come off at junction 31, join the northbound and come off at junction 31a. PRICE ++++++ We paid £48 for a room which is Friday to Sunday rates. Monday to Thursday would cost £51. BOOKING ++++++++ We had an AA Road Atlas with us and also a directory of all the Premier Travel Inn's in the country. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation in central London then Premier Travel Inn is probably your best bet. I considered three - County Hall, near the London Eye; London Bridge, north side of the bridge and Southwark. I have to admit that I didn't know where Southwark was until I looked on a map and I was surprised to find out how central to everything it was, so I chose to stay here. The Premier Travel Inn Southwark is about eight minutes walk from London Bridge Underground Station - so make sure that your luggage has wheels! PREMIER TRAVEL INN - OXFORD CENTRAL

...This particular Premier Travel Inn is situated on the Oxford Business Park. It is just off the A4142 on the junction with the B480 and it is opposite the Rover Works, 3 miles from Oxford city centre. My husband originates from Wallingford near Oxford so we travel up that way occasionally to see old friends and family. We were finding it more and more difficult to find a reasonable B&B for the night. Most of them in that area are £60 upwards for a room. BOOKING ++++++++ We booked our room online. This was very easy to do. You find the hotel that you want, then check availability. You can then choose the type of room that you want and reserve it. You only pay for the room upon arrival and it can be cancelled as close as 1pm on the day that you arrive. You can check in after 2pm and do not need to vacate until 12pm...

Premier Travel Inn at Weymouth - Cleverly located

Advantages: Clean and Tidy

...I can really recommend the Premier Travel Inn at Weymouth, simply for the reason that it is situated less than 2 minutes walk to the Weymouth Sealife Centre, and also less than a minutes walk from Lodmoor Inn (Brewers Fayre), which the Premier Inn have an all in eat as much as you like breakfast deal arrangement with the Lodmoor Inn, kids eat free if adults pay £7.50 each for all in breakfast. If you stay over night and ask nicely they might let you use the free parking the following day so that you don't have to pay at the Weymouth Sealife Centre (should you intend to visit there). Some key points made in other reviews, which I agree with. It is very convenient for the Sea Life Centre, the town, the beach and the ferry. Premier Travel Inn Dumfries, best by far

...I stayed at the Premier Travel Inn in Dumfries just over four years ago for three days and once for a night a couple of years ago. The first time round it was on a Thursday night arrival for a long weekends partying in preparation for my wedding on the Saturday. We were getting married in a castle just up the road but felt that the Inn offered the ideal cost savings for family and friends to gather before hand and just have a darn food time. COST At the time I paid £39 per room. That's not bad at all for two people sharing. The Inn at that time had just under 50 rooms and was located just of the main roundabout as you enter Dumfries just of the A75. It offered closeness to Dumfries town centre whilst being 20 odd minutes from the main motorway to the north and south of the country. I think Carlisle is about 30 miles down the road...

...When i needed some where to stay in Lincoln I decided on the Premier Travel Inn after checking other hotels around Lincoln i thought this would be the best. I'd stayed in Premier Travel Inns before,so I knew they were comfortable rooms and i was looking forward to my stay. The location was not the best i'd seen, i don't really know Lincoln apart from the city centre so I was expecting it to be in the city centre however i found that this wasn't the case. The hotel is away from the city centre so you can't get to and from the hotel without a car/taxi which is a big downside. Luckily i was driving so with the help of The AA route planner and some friendly Lincoln people i found my way to The Premier Travel Inn, Canwick Hill, Lincoln. However if i was not driving you'd have to get a taxi there as it is not within walking distance...

...We have stayed at Premier Inns in the past and felt fairly confident that we wouldn't be disappointed when booking Premier Inn Parkway in Guildford. Premier Inns offer standard accommodation, so you know pretty much what to expect. They guarantee their customers a 'Good Nights sleep or Money Back' and all come with a restaurant or pub adjoining, to serve residents with breakfast and evening meals. I booked a two night break in August for my husband and myself with the intention of visiting the nearby RHS Garden at Wisley and doing a bit of shopping in Guildford - and also to have a bit of a break from the kids!
